As i explained you in my previous comment that i saved a puppy and in the doubt that that puppy gave scratch after 2 months i took ARV of 0,3,7(i don't if it was intradermal or intramuscular. The vaccine was given on both sides of arms on only day 1) (2 injection each on single arm on day 0 , on day 3 single injection in arm and on day 7 single injection in arm). I don't know why they gave me only 0,3,7 ARV and sir how long i am protected against rabies with these with ARV of 0,3,7
I am totally scared of rabies right now unable to focus on college studies and i am scared go outside of my room
I even skipped going outside for college sometimes
Please tell me sir how long i am protected against rabies with ARV of 0,3,7 and when i asked their nurse they didn't tell anything correctly and she said maybe 3 months

0 3 7 remains incomplete. it has got no long term protective effect.
for long term protection full course should be taken. Full course of ARV usually provide protective antibodies for 5 to 21 years.
Since you have taken only three dosage in case of fresh bite, you have to go for full course again .
However, for those people who have completed their course and get fresh bite, they have to get only two doses as re-exposure.

Making decision sometimes become very tough . Two school of thoughts are there for such cases-
first - ARV should not be given for next 90 days.
second - ARV should be given irrespective of the time gap.
WHO - in 2018 proposed 3months concept.
CDC - in 2022 proposed neutralising antibodies concept irrespective of time gap.

Hi sir, Already my 5 years daughter had given 0,3,7 vaccine as pre exposure. Do I need to give her 28th day vaccine or it is not required. it is due tomorrow.
yes, it's required.
0 3 7 is not sufficient to qualify for pre exposure.
in addition 0 3 7 is incomplete as post exposure.
in both the situations, day 28 is required.

1. I checked my rabies antibodies after 9 days after last booster dose and it is 1.69 EU/ML by elisa method. Is it protective? I took two boosters after dog licked my cut on hand while feeding it? Should I need to take one more booster?
2. I checked rabies antibodies for my son which is 0.85 EU/ML after 3 doses (0,7,28) and 17 days after last dose. is this vaccination is successful?

Sir i have taken 4arv out of 5arv on day 0 3 7 14 and on day 17 (on 13 march) i got re expouse (not bite, scratch without blood) do i need to restart the course or any additional dose or just complete the schedule. My 5th dose is on 24 march.

I had Type 3 Dog Bite,Sir in Our government hospital, They suggested me 5 arv schedule, But no HRIG was given to me on day 0, I came to know about HRIG on day 04, all other private doctors here are now saying it is too late for HRIG, as it may now intervene with immune antibodies created by your bodies after vaccine, I have already taken 2 doses, Should I use Hrig now?
