This is a very good video. The information overlay and captions really upped your production value. I'll always check in for more of your flight videos!
That’s right! Believe it or not my instructor sent me through a bravo on my first XC solo, but only because I was very comfortable with bravo airspace. But typically, I wouldn’t recommend student pilots fly through a bravo on their first XC.
@@georgelyddane8283 I use Foreflight to log the GPS coordinates because I have subscribed to it. But other free apps can do this too. You can read my blog post for more details: yeokhengmeng.com/2021/11/how-do-i-produce-my-flight-videos/
@@yeokm1 wow, it looks really got I have the Hero 6 black and it doesn’t look that good. What settings did you use? Also great video I’m going through my cross country portion and your communication skills are helping me thank you!

Supermaggot Hey thanks! Since I got my PPL, I have made more videos! The captions though are time consuming to produce.
great communication, and good on you for remembering that student pilots on their solos can't enter bravo airspace. great glideslope on landing.
Thanks!
Well solo students can enter Bravo if they have an instructor endorsement. In practice, I have not heard of an instructor that has done so.

This is very informative video fly safe and happy landing
Good one. I fly out of Montgomery but still haven't gone to Torrance. Just haven't had a need but looks like a fun airport to go to.
Very informative video, your communication is short and effective. Will help for my upcoming solo flight(s) :)
Bummer that the GoPro battery ran out. I was looking forward to seeing the descent into Montgomery. 😔
I have a Local Area solo video from and to Montgomery! th-cam.com/video/c3hIssWr7BM/w-d-xo.html
Hello. Great video. How did you record your audio and instruments on the top left?
You need a GPS logger to save the coordinates to GPX file. A mobile app can do this.
After that I use Garmin Virb Edit to add the gauges
@@yeokm1 whats the app called? i’m a solo pilot and I really want footage like this on my first XC! great video by the way
