I recommenced getting the AMS CMC when doing this. I just pulled one of these out he installed, because it failed on me. It was starting to rust on the inside near the peddle, and the whole CMC was rusted out. The AMS CMC has a corrosion resistant plate, and a foam sticky seal so no moisture will slip inside the car or the CMC. So bite the bullet and spend a little more, or you may have a spongey clutch like I did a mile from your house lol.
I had same issues my mechanic drive the car and said the clutch is going you’ll notice when you start leaving off on first it takes a while to get going.
Broooo ! Thank you thank you thank you sooo much ! This video was very helpful! The clutch fork to my baby broke off the other day and I was super confused, I couldn’t get it into gear but the crazy part was I wasn’t even shifting fast or anything I was driving normally when it snapped. I had popped the hood and I couldn’t see anything broken or anything spilling. I was hoping it would have been the clutch master cylinder so that I could replace it myself but unfortunately it was my clutch fork ;( So now I have to pay so much money to pay someone to replace the clutch fork because I don’t have all the tools/experience to do it myself. Also I believe it messed up my pressure plate so now I have to replace that too. But I’m definitely going to buy the monolock and have it installed so this doesn’t happen again ! I have a question isn’t there like a piece of metal(forgot what it’s called) that you can install in your engine bay where it prevents the clutch fork from “extending to far”? To prevent this issue? But anyways thank you so much ! This really helped answer all my questions/concerns. Keep up the hard work, you deserve at least 1M subs. I subscribed to keep up with your journey to 1million 💯
Jonny The Car Doctor Ohhh the clutch fork stopper is to protect the Monolock from breaking? I thought the clutch fork stopper was to protect the clutch fork. So basically the the the clutch fork stopper is like extra protection along with the upgraded Monolock to protect the Monolock overall ?
Jonny The Car Doctor Damn, I must of been very unlucky because in my case my clutch fork broke, like the tip of one of the ends. Along with the Monolock ;/
Just got a stage 2 clutch and at 379 miles of braking it in, but I hate it already. I'm stalling every day to and from work caz the clutch release is a bit higher and up hill and in reverse it sounds like somethings rubbing. Is this all Normal???? In close to calling it quits and trading it in😭😭😭

If you do the upgrade with an AMS cmc please for the love of god unscrew the ball and then put it on. It will save you headache.
Damn cant believe I started here replacing the clutch and cmc. I just finished rebuilding my transmission and fixed my reverse.
I’m having issues with reverse. The transmission is good. All 5 gears go into gear but reverse doesn’t. Can you please give me tips

We installed the Radium "clutch fork stopper", to prevent this from damaging the Monolock.

@@sage_brains7133 Yes, The clutch fork won't break, but it will in turn cause the monolock to move further and crush on return.

Did you move the transfer case to get the tranny out? it looks like you left it in place somehow?
How hard was it to do
Considering dropping the engine was easier than dropping the trans, along with the AWD, working on an EVO in not fun in general.
