    just did the install today and for some reason my clutch pedal won’t go down far enough now to hit the little white switch under the dash to trigger the clutch. When the clutch pedals all the way down it just touches it barely. What did i do😫

    Did you have to drill into the firewall at all with this kit?

    I had a shop install my CMC (MAP clip in) a few months back and now my clutch pedal squeaks significantly. I've tried spraying lithium grease up there but no luck.. Any ideas as to what I should specifically spray?

      One squeaks too you can try actual silicon based grease

      That is the death squeak. The MAPERFORMANCE CMC is about die. During the squeak, you will notice the pedal start to feel spongee, soft and slowly will not return. Until it sits at fire at the firewall permanently. Switch back to the OEM CMC unit IMMEDIATELY and get a stage 1 or 2 SINGLE PLATE CLUTCH (Dual and Triple plates are useless and unnecessary), Before it locks the clutch the engine. Which will require you to remove the engine and transmission together. The OEM unit is MASSIVELY superior to all of them except for the fact it is made of plastic. Until some copies the OEM unit in metal. where stuck with plastic.

    Is it possible to remove the brake master cylinder with out disconnecting the 2 brake lines and just set the whole thing aside?

    • @squeakycahlean
      @squeakycahlean  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s honestly better to remove it less chance of breaking stuff and doesn’t take that much time.

    How did you get the new clip onto the clutch pedal?

      All by feel like I said in the end of the video I had my feet up at the head rest and my body upside down in the driver seat with the module in the footwell removed and just had to feel around up there till I found the hole

      Having trouble with this as well, so where the rod connects to the clutch pedal the jointed area, did you have the pin left in that socket or did you mate the joint and the socket without the pin and have to fight with inserting that pin back in?

    • @squeakycahlean
      @squeakycahlean  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dmievo9487 you pull the pin out then put the socket on the clutch pedal ball then put the pin in you have to do it by feel or with a mirror while upside down and pull that little module
