I personally would like a resident evil spin off with gameplay exactly like r.e. 4 , but the main protagonist be an umbrella agent Possibly even make it be about the character called hunk ! Thats actually a character thats in the mercenaries game mode in r.e.4 if they ever wanna take the franchise in a different direction i believe that would please a lot of fans to have a totally tactically decked out character with very tactical weapons and everything be based around the person being very tactical in how they fight and figure things out. And for a good story arc they could have him start off bad but end up good! Maybe hes umbrellas lap dog at 1st doing everything they say but they has a change of heart where his conscience kicks in and ends up saying thats it fuck this ! And switches gears and goes radio silent and starts doing things to take down the organization! To help bring it down ! I say u go halfway through the game then around the halfway point the character has a change of heart and maybe they try to have him kill a kid or kids that aren't infected and he says to himself hell no ! u know what theres no way in hell im doing that ! Then maybe u get some flashbacks in the game of who he really is and how he really is and show him in near past doing things with his son or daughter! And make the kids that umbrella wants him to kill seem like his own kid or kids and reminds him of who he really is ! And so we as the player are like yeah! Were not gonna listen to these assholes and kill a bunch of kids ! Were gonna turn on these assholes and take the whole organization down ! From the ground up if we have to ans that be exactly what happens from the midpoint of the game on out ur going through having to yes fight zombies! The whole game ! But as u get closer and closer to the end u start having to fight characters in the same outfit ur in ! And they just happened to stay loyal or dont know yet how bad umbrella really is . Maybe he even gets 1 of them to understand and be his radio contact from that point on ! Maybe they have it be a male and female u can play as like how r.e.2 was remade and have 2 separate playthroughs and 2 second runs for each character! Idk i just think it would be an amazing idea and maybe the 2 even fall in love cuz maybe lets say umbrella holds his family hostage and kills his wife and when u play as the female they kill her husband! And to get ur kids back for either character u have to make ur way all the way to the top and kill everyone until u get to the end where the main boss of umbrella is holding ur kids hostage and he gets u to lower ur guard but ur partner snipes the guy and ur kids run to safety but then the dude injects himself with the G virus or 1 of the viruses and turns into this gigantic monster u have to kill to beat the game ! Make there be multiple mini boss battles that are all amazing bosses and all look different and use different tactics! And make it to where there is plenty of variations of enemies! Variations of zombies and human enemies and maybe a new type that u fight enemies that have the virus on them but when u shoot them down if u dont run up and finish the job the have the ability to inject themselves with the virus and turn into a monster zombie u would have to fight too ! So thT could be its own type of enemy! 1 that is human and is shooting trying to kill u that way but then u shoot them down then they inject themselves as a last resort! Kinda like nazis would do with cyanide! If u captured them they would just kill themselves so u couldn't get information from them ! Or torture them to get info or whatever! I think that would be a great concept! And in my opinion has the potential the be better then anything resident evil we've ever played! Just imagine we finally get to put a face to some of those umbrella agents we get to play as in some of the other game modes u can play in r.e.2. and r.e.4 mercenaries! I think its a great idea! And hope they go through with it . Me personally would like it to just be about the character hunk . But i think having a female option would be inviting to female players who want to play as a female or vice versa. So regardless u look totally decked out in all that umbrella gear and at the beginning of the game u can choose the female version or male version. But if it was just about some1 like hunk i wouldnt mind that at all and would rather actually have it be that way cuz too many games nowadays all have female protagonist! So its not that im against female characters or protagonist! I just think u cant get a game with a guy in it whos actually cool and badass and isnt gay or trans or looks to be that way or some shit ! I just want a good story with good gameplay with cool badass characters and badass weapons! Is that to much to ask for !
I'm all for it, but I do wish Capcom would consider a "classic mode" that lets the older players enjoy the game with the iconic camera angles. If modders can create fixed camera mods mere days after release, then they should just make it an option you pick while setting up a run. We know that they can do it, since RE1R had two control styles, as did the recent Dead Rising remake. This would easily satisfy both the newer and older fans.
We absolutely do. A remake for modern consoles. There’s absolutely zero things wrong with that. I played the original when it came out. I played the remake numerous times. I absolutely want to play it with modern hardware.
If Capcom likes money, then there's no reason for them not to. They could keep all the same areas, scenarios, and story beats just updated over the shoulder in the RE engine. All they'd need to do is fix Rebecca Hunter interaction (make her not so scared since she already went through RE0) and also fix the endings so all for characters are on the chopper.
If this is real, and there's no more per-rendered backgrounds, but fully functional environments like the original release of RE4 onward, that's the only way I can try to finish playing the first game as even when I have the 2015 remake a try, it's still not fully playable for me.
Capcom clearly needs to remake r.e.1 if they ever intend on remaking r.e.5 because it would give us the Chris context to ppl who are new to the franchise and have really no idea about him or who he even is and his role in all of it. But it needs made in a way like how they did r.e.4 remake! If they remake 1 and then 5 in that order it would make perfect sense to then remake r.e. 6 and bring it full circle to leon and Chris then being in the same game . But if they do #1 they need to do like how r.e.2 remake was in the sense of u can play the whole game as either Chris or jill ! And then have a 2nd run for each character! Like they did in r.e.2 remake! But make the gameplay just like r.e.4 remake for each character in each playthrough!
Nah. Give us CVX remake and reimagined, continue Weskers story, to build him up for a RE5R Orrrr, Make both remakes(RE1R/CVXR) and don’t make them so long, kinda like RE3R. Just bundle both games. Idk😅
A Zero remake has me curious as to whether they could just remake it and 1 in one title. "RE: Origin" or something like that. Include side content from Umbrella Chronicles and other sources, let you wander a bit of the city and RPD pre-outbreak like the fan project would have before boarding the chopper. As others suggested include an ending where Chris, Jill, Barry, and Rebecca all escape together. Throw in the "Rebirth" scenario from UC where you play as Wesker and avoid/fight Lisa to escape before the self-destruct. Lot of things they could do.
If we're going to make remakes...why not remake the syphon filter trilogy...that would be a good remake...metal of honor...thats a throw back for real...remake black...anybody remember that first person shooter...thats just to name a few i would like to see if we're going all in on these remakes...but i would much rather have an original game...with original story...with original characters...i dont think thats too hard to ask for...right???
The remaster was just an HD touchup of the 2002 game in its same engine. The first true RE game in RE Engine was 7. Technically there was a tech demo prior to that set in a kitchen.
Would love a remake but also would love to see all of the monsters get new attacks higher HP making it harder to kill them especially tyrant at the end he should have the hardest difficulty to bring down. He’s a joke in all the resident evil one games.
I want code V first for the fact its kinda lost to time. No good way to play it and never has been remade. The original is a perfect classic id like to see remade again after code v and then 0.
Easy fix: Don't kill off Wesker in a 5R. Leave it ambiguous after he falls out of the bomber, or however they replace that scene. Give a post-credits scene that hints he's alive. He would make more sense being behind Neo-Umbrella in 6, and we'd avoid the silly love triangle BS with Simmons, Leon, and Ada. Allows Jake to meet (and possibly fight) his father. If they maintain the co-op and story crossover elements, it could even be a 4-player boss fight and include Chris for Round 2 against Wesker.
How about a super mario bros. 1/duck hunt remake...mike tyson punch out remake...ghostbusters remake...or even...lets beat them to the punch...how about a remake of gta vi...even though that game hasnt come out yet...SMH...damn millennials eating off the ideas of other peoples hard work...why not come up with something on your own
They should also introduce harder difficulty if you choose a harder difficulty, the enemies also attack differently are harder to bring down. It should add instant, kills by enemies, making you move around more cautiously.
Also, if we get a full on remake, they should include the small detail where when we first see a zombie and it turns to slowly look at us, in the Japanese release, the zombie dropped the severed head of the pooh guy it was munching on before it looked at us, but that small detail was removed here in the States when the game first released to make it less violent. If they are gonna give us a full on remake like RE2, 3 and 4, they should make that small detail a part of the remake to add more horror to the game, and give us what wasn't included back with the original release of the game.
Enough of remaking/remastering stuff that's already been done! New, fresh and original is needed, not some cash-cow lazy iteration! I like the original trilogy (PS1 days), 4 made me seasick (Wii version), don't care for 5, love 6. 7 had a weak ending and Village did the seasick thing again. Looking for something different now
I'd be alright with 1st person like they wanted to do originally for this. The OGs are readily available so if they wanna do something different here with remaking it again, I'm fine with that.
Re 1 doesnt need a remake people just have skill issue with tank controls, 2 and 3 need the treatment re1 got cuz they were just half assed. Remake 4 should never have happened as good as it was. It just wasnt necessary. Re0 just needs an item box patch while CV just needs an easy mode tacked on i hate having to use the knife for half the game til you get a surplus of ammo to actually viably use the handgun. It doesnt even have to be that easy just double stack a few ammo placements for handgun ammo like in some places instead of getting a whopping 15 ya get 30. Re4 OG just needs amateur and easy mode ublocked on all regions. Re5 just needs re6s gameplay anf let us move and shoot. Sorry for the rant this is all just my opinion. The only good i can see coming out of a remake for 5 is using some of the multiplayer maps for the main campaign and bringing back some of its cut content. Heck remake 4 was a good game but i think i still like the original better. I like how remake expanded everything but it didnt go far enough i would have taken the village segment and castles much further. I was okay with the stalkers of remakes 2 and 3 but they got repetitive and annoying. That stuff needs some scripting like once theyre down they need to stay down til the next encounter and if you dont down them THEN they would keep chasing us. Again sorry for the long rant. I find remakes often lacking certain charms of the originals. Take re1 for example re1 og feels almost like some supernatural elements are at play and it adds a bit to the atmospheric charm while remake loses that charm but improves on almost everything. That charm is really the only thing i felt was missing.
@@genesis2697 but re2 and 3 should have gotten remakes like re1 did and comeplete the original trilogy instead of the two crap games we eventually got. Theyre not bad games per se just bad resident evil remake games. 4 years apparently wasng enough development time to actually finish them.
@@genesis2697 well 1 wasny exactly a 1.1 but it was pretty damn close and the remakes for 2 and 3 shoulda happened back then. They coulda pushed 4 and 5 back a little if need be. In fact in an alternate universe i coulda seen it playing out like this Re1 remake = Early hakf of 2002 Re0 = later half of 2002 Re2 remake = late 2004 or early 2005 for gamecube Re4 = mid to late 2005 Re3 remake = 2007 maybe 2008 for wii with ots perspective like we actually got but much more faithful to the OG instead of the hot mess we got. Re5 and some of the later games might have got pushed back maybe a year from the times they actually did come out cuz it only took them a year to do re1 but it took em 4 years to do re5 releasing alongside umbrella and darkside chronicals.
I think second RE1 remake needs that A/B scenario from RE3 and story ideas from the novel and also have RE0make as DLC or have RE0make remade first and have second RE1make as dlc and have players play as Rebecca through that story and still play as Jill and Chris.
The only way I would be interested in an RE1 Remake is if they change a lot of aspects of the originals. The Spencer Mansion is very small, there is a significant lack of weapons and a lack of zombies. I don't like games that encourage running past enemies instead of fighting them, but in RE1 that's often a necessity. An RE1 remake is almost certainly a skip for me but its an absolute skip if the leaks of "Bullet Sponge" enemies are true. I would much rather have more zombies with less health vs. less zombies with an obnoxious amount of health. I can appreciate the franchise that RE1 went on to kick-start, but to make a game I would be interested in they would basically have to make a game that actual RE1 fans wouldn't like.
If you hate spongey enemies, you ought to try the RE 4 remake randomizer. Boss-type enemies spawn with hilariously low health while the "regular" Ganados often have boss-level HP. lol
Have the visuals of a new RE titles but camera angles and controls like the classic, or give us the option to choose the style of gameplay l, I wish SH2 Remake did that.
I would like to see Zero remade Loosely and then tie into a one remake I don't really care much for the story or setting of zero so they could change it however they want
Like i have the gamecube remaster on steam...looks fine...just cant do tank controls anymore...which its a wonder why they remastered it and didnt fix that.

used to have the same attitude while playing cv, but after like my first 20 minutes I got used to it and it actually added a lot to the horror elements
I remember being intimidated by Tank Controls when I was in middle school back in 2006. I purchased the Resident Evil Essential Collection for PS2 which included RE4, RE CV, and RE Outbreak. RE4 was the game that sold me on the series, but even back then, I wasn't able to enjoy the other 2 games since their control schemes were rather "alien" to me. However, my love of RE4 and deep curiosity for the rest of the franchise led me to learn how to play these games. I discovered that tank controls are by no means a bad control system. It's just different. They become intuitive pretty quickly if you embrace them. (Try running around a lot. I think new-time players try to over control the character while walking, instead of steering their character while in movement.) Sure, it took some patience, but it really didn't take a long time to become a pro at these controls at a pretty young age. You can do this. We believe in you.
What if instead of remaking a perfect game , make a new game but with the old formula(fixed camera angles)
Locked camera creates a different feeling of horror. Its a shame indie companies or devs trying to make these kinds of game. One good example being Echoes Of The Living.

@@Reggiezombiecop a current "remaster" in the new engine. I just was avoding saying remake because I don't want to see them cut stuff & make stupid additions like making Nemesis into a dog like creature.
No one needs a remake, but id love to see RE1 remake in the RE7 engine with first person POV
It’s not a remake it’s a dam HD remastered, it doesn’t use the RE engine
REmake is outdated. Another remake would be appropriate
Please no...im tired of remakes..its just like GTA definitive edition
ENOUGH...no more remakes...is there anybody...ANYBODY WITH AN ORIGINAL IDEA...come on...we ended up with like 4 last of us 1 remakes...a remake of last of us 2 like 6 months after its ps4 release for the ps5 for NO REASON AT ALL...countless R.E remakes...just 1 original idea...just 1...is there anybody out there with enough education to come up with an original story/idea...PLEASE
the franchaise of resident evil is totaly ruined with this garbage reimagination
@@genesis2697 Right, RE6 style games would be totally better :))))

How’s about we remake 3 again hear that one needs a remake
It needs a director's cut 😂
I'm all for it, I would love to see a modern remake, a canon ending, harder bosses, it gets me so excited.
Wether it needs it or not, I’m buying 🤷🏻♂️
I think if they do this they need to make it fix re0 inconsistent and maybe make it both remake bundle and hope they add thr item box on re0 remake
We dont need second Remake of RE1.
We absolutely do. A remake for modern consoles. There’s absolutely zero things wrong with that. I played the original when it came out. I played the remake numerous times. I absolutely want to play it with modern hardware.
Yes, we want another one. There’s a demand for it and they’re making good money so it’ll probably happen.
For people like myself that hate tank controls and the original camera. Yes, we do.
The 2002 remake had the best gameplay and visuals in the entire franchise. Capcom can't top it with the way their making the other remakes
Don’t know how they did it but they smashed it. I think re4 comes close
Sorry 2015 re1 was remade
Code Veronica needs a remake the most a 4k/60 remaster would suffice for re remake.
In my opinion they should have remade Code Veronica before 4, Resident Evil 4 needed a remake even less then Super Metroid does.
REmake is one of the best video games ever made already, but I'm down for a modern rethinking of the game.
Nah. Give us CVX remake and reimagined, continue Weskers story, to build him up for a RE5R
Orrrr, Make both remakes(RE1R/CVXR) and don’t make them so long, kinda like RE3R.
I am for CVX but it need to be the same length as the original, the game is precious!!!
Man does every classic game from the 90s need a GenZ update!??
If we're going to make remakes...why not remake the syphon filter trilogy...that would be a good remake...metal of honor...thats a throw back for real...remake black...anybody remember that first person shooter...thats just to name a few i would like to see if we're going all in on these remakes...but i would much rather have an original game...with original story...with original characters...i dont think thats too hard to ask for...right???
As long as they leave the damn spiders in game!
We had a 2016 remake right before the two remake came out a year or two prior..... I think it was the first RE engine game actually...
He’s a joke in all the resident evil one games.
all remakes must be OTS
Waste of time F the new fans
I want code V first for the fact its kinda lost to time. No good way to play it and never has been remade. The original is a perfect classic id like to see remade again after code v and then 0.
We need RE 1 5 6 Remake. Specially RE 6 need a remake with good writing. 2013 RE6 was a mess
Was that even a Resident Evil Game? Felt more like a Call of Duty spin-off of some sorts it wasn't even scary.
No, RE6 was horrible, RE5 Remake is not needed, I wouldn't mind another RE1 Remake.
The only RE game i havent played was 6 and i never will
Easy fix: Don't kill off Wesker in a 5R.
What about the resident evil 1 original gameplay it must the same gameplay and don't change it.
I'm not happy with the remake because it didn't follow the original gameplay.
And make head shots actually count
Also, if we get a full on remake, they should include the small detail where when we first see a zombie and it turns to slowly look at us, in the Japanese release, the zombie dropped the severed head of the pooh guy it was munching on before it looked at us, but that small detail was removed here in the States when the game first released to make it less violent. If they are gonna give us a full on remake like RE2, 3 and 4, they should make that small detail a part of the remake to add more horror to the game, and give us what wasn't included back with the original release of the game.
no shit reimagined stop the franchaise is ruined
No I want resident evil code Veronica remake
Yes dude, that's the one!!!
I cant believe nintendo had this on there console there so pg now days to have anything like this again
Are people still pushing for a remake of a remake? It's completely unnecessary.
Just remake/remake 3, again, correctly!!!!
Looking for something different now
What if they hit the employees for making the game as good as it is lol 😅❤ what if I think so
I'd be alright with 1st person like they wanted to do originally for this.
That charm is really the only thing i felt was missing.
yes exactly resident evil 2 and 3 HD REMASTER LIKE RE0 AND RE 1
@@genesis2697 but re2 and 3 should have gotten remakes like re1 did and comeplete the original trilogy instead of the two crap games we eventually got. Theyre not bad games per se just bad resident evil remake games. 4 years apparently wasng enough development time to actually finish them.
@@TheRealSephiroth a 1.1 remake faithful like resident evil 1 2002 yes THEY ARE VERY BAD REMAKE
@@genesis2697 well 1 wasny exactly a 1.1 but it was pretty damn close and the remakes for 2 and 3 shoulda happened back then. They coulda pushed 4 and 5 back a little if need be. In fact in an alternate universe i coulda seen it playing out like this
Re1 remake = Early hakf of 2002
Re0 = later half of 2002
Re2 remake = late 2004 or early 2005 for gamecube
Re4 = mid to late 2005
Re3 remake = 2007 maybe 2008 for wii with ots perspective like we actually got but much more faithful to the OG instead of the hot mess we got.
Re5 and some of the later games might have got pushed back maybe a year from the times they actually did come out cuz it only took them a year to do re1 but it took em 4 years to do re5 releasing alongside umbrella and darkside chronicals.
Yeah, I'd like to see the first RE game get a full overhaul in the RE Engine like the remakes of RE2, 3 and 4 have gotten
I think res0-1 sud have joined game cos there only 24hrs b4 res1 come to rescue bravo team that what there sould do
I think second RE1 remake needs that A/B scenario from RE3 and story ideas from the novel and also have RE0make as DLC or have RE0make remade first and have second RE1make as dlc and have players play as Rebecca through that story and still play as Jill and Chris.
If this does come true then I am mega hyped!
Boss-type enemies spawn with hilariously low health while the "regular" Ganados often have boss-level HP. lol
Dude, lack of weapons and ammo is the reason RE1 is the way it is, that's what makes it a true survival horror not action based RE4, 5 and 6
I want this sooo bad i need more jill
I wanna play more RE
Have the visuals of a new RE titles but camera angles and controls like the classic, or give us the option to choose the style of gameplay l, I wish SH2 Remake did that.
I’m amazed that they’ve decided to remake every one of them, but have completely ignored the OG RE. Makes no sense to me.
Because it already has a remake and Capcom considers that good enough even if it plays nothing like the current remakes and is 22 years old.
Agreed!
I think it needs a remake
I need a REremake of RE 1 😢❤
It already exists.
You know what people mean when they say this
I would like to see Zero remade Loosely and then tie into a one remake I don't really care much for the story or setting of zero so they could change it however they want
As long as it’s not the failure the third remake game was
I think re 1 remake only need good cutscenes and good script gameplay i enjoy a lot
Like i have the gamecube remaster on steam...looks fine...just cant do tank controls anymore...which its a wonder why they remastered it and didnt fix that.
Ngl I'm not a fan of the classic style of re, would definitely play a re 1 with over the shoulder camera.
Re4 was my first
Leave out the fn crimson head bullshit
I want a RE remake, considering i haven't played RE1 or RE1 original remake on GameCube. I'm just not a fan of tank controls of the old games and the camera.
used to have the same attitude while playing cv, but after like my first 20 minutes I got used to it and it actually added a lot to the horror elements
@K.a.Z__ Yeah, not me.
Wah wah wah I can't adapt to a different gameplay style make everything easy like RE4 plsss
@Bakasama04 You mad i don't like old ass tank controls with a trash camera view. Sorry, kid. I chose not to play it. There's a difference. Learn it.
I think new-time players try to over control the character while walking, instead of steering their character while in movement.)
Sure, it took some patience, but it really didn't take a long time to become a pro at these controls at a pretty young age.
You can do this. We believe in you.
Yeah we definitely need RE1 remake. Been saying this the last 4 years.
