I have a brainwave entrainment device that helps relax me and lull my brain into a sleepy state. It's also helped me to meditate for much longer than I could before. I think the science of mental well-being is more important than longevity. Why would we want to live so long if we're miserable? But the same technologies that advance one advance the other.
I can totally see future people and civilizations using brainwave bands to help massage and stimulate the brain into optimal states at exact intervals and measure/prevent any health issues that begin with the brain while enhancing learning simultaneously. It may be necessary to wear one during growth spurts and during life stage changes to see how the brain forms and reacts and to prevent it from shutting off or growing in the wrong directions.

Peter Diamandas' yearly body scan has been heavily criticized elsewhere. Basically, you don't need it. We have all sorts of tiny cancers in our bodies that the immune system quickly eradicates. And basically, these scans simply cannot detect all the factors that go into our health at this point. So you're just throwing your money away.
I have been listening to Sinclair for last 5-6 years. His optimism is accelerating at a rate faster than Moores' law. He used to say we might see 10-15 years rejuvenation within our life time or soon after , to now fully aligning with what Kurzweil used to say. Sinclair used to say hope Kurzweil is true but it's still fantasy. George Church is more rational person who doesn't go about making too bold statements in media like Kurzweil which obviously made many to think Kurzweil as a jerk. Aubrey De Grey too lost many peoples confidence as he has been saying it's 20 years away for last 20 years. I think we should not speculate too much on time and focus more on the path.
I have hypoglycemia, low blood sugar. IT’s recommended that I eat as soon as I get up and eat every 1-2 hours. I am already 62 and look 42. Why don’t I look older if postponing eating in the morning will make you look younger?
for reverse aging do they mean not just "regenerate" but even and especially "healing the body".. ? some examples like back pain, plantar fascitiis, bone marrow edema, artritis, tendinitis , often these things like many others don't get healed like they should.. will all these things get healed with this future medicine technology ? if so it would be great and a totally new view of life.. Young and healthy.. i don't think there is something better..
so in 10 years he believes there will be some way of reversing a portion of our age? i guess we cant get more details on this yet. May I ask why he mentioned age 50? is there any reason we cant get our age down to 21 in the future?
Down to 21 may not be safe. Celluar reprogramming has a no return point (if you across this point the cells lose their identity and become cancer). Anyway it is nonsense now to talk about too much this. 10 years ago people think it is impossible to rejuvenate (reverse age) so who knows what will happen in the next 10 years?
@@kerrspace5435 i just never know if i can believe it. i keep hoping but they never seem to reveal much information on it. how can you believe it with no details? also on one podcast he says 10 years and then again the end of the decade and other guys have different dates but the go to has always been by 2040 so i just dont know there are so many inconsistencies.
Like Eistein said there is no such a thing as 'time'..... People must label all things, must label others, they have to place all things in a specific box, they are obssesed with the need to control. The first question they ask is "how old are you?" They have to put all in a slot, actually most have no respect for others, nor for others need or life style.
Dr. Sinclair refuses to debate scientists who state sirtuins are not conserved longevity genes. He should welcome the challenges if he has evidence for support. The following is one case. My opinion of the timetable: 10 years to partial rejuvination technology through partial age resets .. will give flawed age reversals that are enough to achieve longevity escape velocity. 10-20 years down the line it becomes near flawless. Maybe 30 - 40 years from now we get to have the kind of nanobot interventions which allow full body repair and restructuring that truly and fully reverses aging (and all the research that comes before it aids in mapping the genome's functioning for this purpose). 50-60 years from now we should be able to engineer our own bodies so as to remove select defects with better genetics from a universal library of genetic possibilities, doing this in the adult body and not just for new embryos. Nanobots will help remake the body in the new image of your enhanced DNA. Obviously the research needs to be strongly regulated and ethics develops as the technology becomes more reliable. At least, this is my fantasy and it hedges on the fact that global society won't collapse in the meantime.
The question shouldn't be "would you like to live to 120 healthy?", it should be "would you like your family to have the choice to live to 120 healthy?"
I think Dr. David Sinclair has conflict of interest with some companies, He probably he is a good scientist but, he should be clear and straight with the audience that follow innovation and new discoveries.
I am starting to lose patience and hope in this longevity pill. I studied biotechnology 20 years ago and remember my proffesor saying back then, that scientists trying to elongate telomeres and stop the aging process. It is just around the corner. And here we are 20 years later with similar expirements in MICE! Honestly, with this pace it is at least 50 years away! Frustrating
Who else sees that David Sinclair is looking younger and younger? I suspect cosmetic procedure - kidding, but you never know. If that is not the case, he is finding the ultimate elixir- at this time.
I like David Sinclair, but I dislike that he is always using filters or light to blur his face, so that it seems younger. In the pictures, you can clearly see a difference. I love that he is so lean and certainly looks younger than his age, but let’s be more honest in front of the camera. Plus, I would recommend caution with some supplements that he is referring. I am not a scientist, but in respect to aging and everything else, it is probably better to stick to moderation and be careful with overdosing on exotic elements or supplements. Choose a good, balanced lifestyle and diet instead.

Thank you for this video I watch all of your videos I don't know what it is about you David Sinclair but something about you that gets me hooked every single time I hear you I think I feel a sense of connection I get you I'm very optimistic about always proving people wrong whatever I'm trying to prove because I believe that much in myself and as you do yourself so that's one thing that I admire and the realization that I've never seen another man be as bold and forth telling about a subject that most scientists wouldn't dare cover study talk about to the public so kudos to you everything you've talked about if applied works everything you talk about not only works but makes sense someone called you Peter Pan once I think they're right and you've accomplished all of this with very little sleep so I also have that problem yet I've accomplished many things as well not on your level but it's true it's hard to function with very little sleep but hi hi hi kudos to you what does it mean why some people sleep really deep and good and others don't I don't understand but I do know this much I will work on mine as well God bless and take care and I'll pray that you get better sleep!
What is the device called?
I can totally see future people and civilizations using brainwave bands to help massage and stimulate the brain into optimal states at exact intervals and measure/prevent any health issues that begin with the brain while enhancing learning simultaneously. It may be necessary to wear one during growth spurts and during life stage changes to see how the brain forms and reacts and to prevent it from shutting off or growing in the wrong directions.
Timestamps would be nice, for those who want to get straight to the hacks/lifestyle changes 😄
I appreciate the info and wisdom. I tried to buy the glucose monitor but was scared to give all of the personal data required. I didn't see and option to skip that.
Also adding a face-lift to tablets and capsules make you look younger! Minimise then your food intake and stand on your feet all day long at least make your life span feel ever lasting.
thank you
Im very happy that his father is still there. Wow! How fantastic ! When I woke up earlier because of the great nad plus I'm not sure if I try too continue sleeping or stay awake. I want have unlimited physical immortality. I couldn't imagine too die
12:50 Goals + friends > diet. Can somebody link the source of this study?
Thank you from the heart David! ❤
Thanks for a great video! David doesn’t cease to amaze us, and you too! But that music at the end of your video was too loud and too sudden. Would be great if you tone it down in line with the volume of your conversation throughout the video. Thanks for all your great work!!!
Taking a number of supplements …it is getting expensive..like another car payment. The NMN is $100 per month if I take two caps a day. Would I derive some benefit if I took them every other day?
Is there anything for cataract, if anything possible and for AMD which come with aging
Love this looking forward to future exigencics
Brilliant I was waiting for another DS interview.
What do you think about NMN is banned?
Regarding sleep do naps count as extra hours for ideal sleep or is it just the 7 to 8 hours straight
Sadly in the uk we are so far behind. There is no option for a full physical examination 😢
Same here in south africa
Peter Diamandas' yearly body scan has been heavily criticized elsewhere. Basically, you don't need it. We have all sorts of tiny cancers in our bodies that the immune system quickly eradicates. And basically, these scans simply cannot detect all the factors that go into our health at this point. So you're just throwing your money away.
You have my 'bravo' for the dashboard...
23:12 I’m 22, I’m listening

25 here baby but 16 DNA wise
Nothing lasts forever 💔
I have hypoglycemia, low blood sugar. IT’s recommended that I eat as soon as I get up and eat every 1-2 hours. I am already 62 and look 42. Why don’t I look older if postponing eating in the morning will make you look younger?
Looking older and actually being older inside are different. Also, genetic factors probably play some role in how you look
Are you a Gemini? They tend to look much younger than other zodiac signs.
My mother is hypothyroidic can she takes levothyrox because she has no thyroid activity, can she take metformin or berberin? Can she even take nmn?
Wondering if David can recommend anything to help offset male pattern baldness other then dht inhibitors and minoxidil?
Rooibos tea/green tea /stinging
nettle root extract.
As far as i know it’s genetic...look at your father...
thank you for sharing that with everyone and making such an impact
Universal healthcare has major challenges here in Canada. I hope it’s better in Australia than here in Nova Scotia, Canada
Allopathic medicine does not treat or prevent functional diseases, because the antidote is lifestyle, diet, and exercise.
for reverse aging do they mean not just "regenerate" but even and especially "healing the body".. ? some examples like back pain, plantar fascitiis, bone marrow edema, artritis, tendinitis , often these things like many others don't get healed like they should.. will all these things get healed with this future medicine technology ? if so it would be great and a totally new view of life.. Young and healthy.. i don't think there is something better..
Do have a link or the title of the long term Harvard study that was referenced at @13:00 ?

so in 10 years he believes there will be some way of reversing a portion of our age? i guess we cant get more details on this yet.

A.G.I Will be man's last invention
BTW, big fan of the both of you!
we are no where close to reverse aging. but it doesn't mean it impossible but right now we just not close for doing that .
Like Eistein said there is no such a thing as 'time'..... People must label all things, must label others, they have to place all things in a specific box, they are obssesed with the need to control. The first question they ask is "how old are you?" They have to put all in a slot, actually most have no respect for others, nor for others need or life style.
It's call a heart attack gun. That is what some people are shot with to cause heart attacks.
Such disruptive technology will face huge obstacles from pharmaceuticals and traditional medicine.
Dr. Sinclair refuses to debate scientists who state sirtuins are not conserved longevity genes. He should welcome the challenges if he has evidence for support. The following is one case.

A great book to read is called From Strength to Strength by Arthur Brooks! It really shows one how to move from one stage of your life to another and find a new purpose.
Thank you, I’ll check it out
Crisper is upcoming to slice, find and attach
I do healhty keto and IF. 4 days a week I eat only OMAD, those are the days I do sports. I do sports fasted and have great energy being in ketosis. On the other 3 days, the resting and recovering days, I eat twice a day, in a 6 hour window. I am a woman, 53, in menopause, no symptoms. I would like to look younger (wrinkles from less healhty eating before). I just ordered NAD+, NADH, resveratrol, Q10.
Keto is the opposite of healthy if you do it every day.
@@mrodino3544 I do not understand. Do you mean that I should eat carbs? I eat vegetables (non starchy), animal fat and protein. I feel healthy, fit, I am lean and strong. Grains, legumes and seed oils made me sick before.
@@KirstiCheetahh Recommendation: The last two books from Dr. Steven Gundry. The Keto Code and The Energy Paradox. He has many good TH-cam videos, too. Seed oils and grain and legumes with high amounts of lectines I avoid, too. Lectines can sometimes be reduced by pressure cooking.
@@mrodino3544 Your statement about keto is unsupported by evidence.
@@robdoubleyou4918 maybe, just quoting Steve Gundry. But never believe the experts.
If doctor´s Sinclair use of yamanaka factors in mice eyes were used in skin. Would it remove scars?
My opinion of the timetable:
10 years to partial rejuvination technology through partial age resets .. will give flawed age reversals that are enough to achieve longevity escape velocity.

Question… what is your position on the C19 gene therapy jab?
There is a video still available on TH-cam where he supports the vaccine back in early 2021 that’s when he lost his credibility.
If we can be Alive, then obviously we can Live Forever, we just need to find out how to do this (do not forget drinking Milk)

Yes he really is
I like David Sinclair, but I dislike that he is always using filters or light to blur his face, so that it seems younger.
As an insomniac i really think sleep is overrated, magnesium is beautiful and a miracle but melatonin is very bad. 39yo looking like a 25, i am a living proof sleep isn’t the real deal, more of an indicator of your health or your nervous system health/cptsd/mental health
