Dr. David A. Sinclair. I’m a disabled veteran suffering from chronic fatigue, which has destroyed my life. Earlier last year I came across your research on NMN and I decided to give it a try because nothing else had helped. It changed my life. I can finally clean my house or go get groceries without extreme exhaustion. My mind isn’t in a constant fog anymore, I don’t wish for death anymore, and I finally feel like I have a little control over my own life. Yesterday I found out that your company had NMN banned by the FDA as a supplement. I am destroyed by this news and you personally have both given me hope and then ripped away any chance I had at rebuilding my life. I can’t go back to constant fatigue and a life where I constantly think about ending it. Please help Dr. Sinclair, losing NMN will be the end of my life.
Stay positive as there will be loop holes and many will still get it. I just became disabled and I have terrible chronic fatigue and I will try NMN at the moment Kratom has saved my life but I don't want to be on it forever so I am now rebuilding nerve damage and bone with BPC 157 and TB 500 peptides Doctors told me I would not be walking and will need surgery down the road, Wrong they are as I now have full range of motion and getting stronger and they can't figure it out, I won't tell them I'm using peptides as they don't support alternative medicine unless they can make money well they will never get another dime from me ever again!
do look into Ashgawanda and other indian supplements. I have been taken a few and energy levels have changed noticeably. Had brain fog, low drive, energy and motivation.

Hi David, just want to let you know I have followed your videos for the past few years. When I looked back during my prime years (~ 30 yrs old), my work schedule was irregular, therefore, I only ate a maximum twice per day, sometimes even once per day. On top of that, I was an avid racket sports enthusiast. Played sports every other day, (quite intensive), and never stopped. Now, I am 50 yrs old, and still continue to play badminton (extremely intensive - advanced/pro level) every other day consistently, and only eat a maximum twice per day, most of the time eat once per day, with light snacks. All my friends and new people I met, still thinks I look around 30 yrs old. It seems like my aging halted considerably ever since I started eating less meals, and got into intensive sport when I was 30 yrs old. When I see some of my friends that are the same age as I am now, they all starting to have grey hair, and wrinkle skin, early stage conditions (weight gain, diabetes, high blood, cholesterol, etc.). Ironically, I weighed around 130 lbs when I was 30 yrs old, but now my weight has been averaging 120 lbs for the last 20 years, with an average BMI of 20.5. I notice it's a bit weird when my surroundings are aging much faster than I am. Therefore, when I saw your videos, I noticed there is a similar pattern that I have been on the right track for the last few decades.
We seem to be the same. I think not eating is also the answer but they have know this for decades. I wonder if you are like me in the way I don't feel hunger of thirst for the most part? I have to remind myself to drink water and eat food and it has been this way my whole life.
I am 22 now, if I can live till 100 completely healthy - fit and not dependent on anyone that would be enough for me ❤️🤩🙏 Dr David Sinclair is such a gem in this world 🙏.
In case yall didn't know, this man literally unlocked the secret to reversing the aging of ALL living cells in January. I imagine that's what he's gearing up to release in full
The company that he is a cofounder of, Metro Biotech, is currently lobbying the FDA to classify NMN as a drug. That has not happened yet and there is speculation in the longevity community that it won't be and will remain available in the same manner that NAC is. I believe there will be a huge battle between the FDA and longevity supplement companies and longevity advocate groups if the FDA moves to ban it. Certainly, Dr. Sinclair is in the doghouse over all this and the letter he wrote as a response didn't help him. No matter the outcome, we must remember that he is the main one who got us this far and without him we might not even be having this discussion. Personally, I'm torn between hating him for this mess and admiring him for what he has done to advance the science of longevity.

Great video, thank you. I'm one of those taking Metformin, even though I don't have diabetes. My cardiologist was asking me why I'm taking it. I had to explain to him the longevity research behind Metformin. Why should I have to explain this kind of health information to a physician? Isn't their job to know what could possibly make their patient healthier? In addition to Metformin, I'm taking Apigenin, CA-AKG, Fisetin. I have felt my Testosterone levels increase since Apigenin. Since I started Metformin, over a 6 month period, my A1c went from 5.4 to 5.3. Glucose went from 97 to 87. My albumin is 4.4. I do feel pretty good for a 67.5 year old. I have been doing intermittent and long term multi day water fasting for at least 20 years now. My diet is pretty good. Sardines, salmon, organic vegetables, berries, nuts, beans, green tea, organic dark chocolate (85% cacao). Daily drink of organic garlic in water and extra virgin olive oil. I love life. I want to continue to live a healthy life for as long as humanly possible. Give another 100 years, at least. "Live long enough to live forever".
From my experience with doctors, they either don't have the time or don't take the time to keep up with research in areas outside their purview. My primary care doctor asked me what NMN and caAKG was and why was I taking it. Even though he didn't advise against it, it was clear he disapproved my taking medication a doctor hadn't prescribed.
To demand a doctor knows everything about new research is inappropriate. I do understand the frustration about that but it's clearly not possible. Dozens of new research papers are getting released every day with a huge variety of topics. And on top of that a doctor based in a town or a village has to support his patients all day long. Especially during this time with covid and other stuff, they got plenty to do. At some point a doctor also needs some rest. They are human. I do think that there should be something like a trainee-program for doctors in new research fields and the state should support that. In a jungle full with regulations, new patients, pharma-companies that contact you to get you into their selling - program etc., something like an anchor is needed, on which a doctor can orientate himself without checking dozens of papers. You also may not forget that Sincere just like other researcher on TH-cam are not medical doctors, they are researchers. It's their journey to find such things, they have the time for that, because it's their all day long business. And I also want to mention that nowadays almost everyone knows about bad nutrition like sugar that harms your health. The internet is full with advice about food and nutrition and still are a lot of people overweight or have bad nutrition. How many doctors are out there that give advice to their patients to eat better or change their lifestyle and yet they keep up their bad habits. A doctor is not the best practice to change life and live healthier. First of all its the own will to be able to enjoy a longer life.
@@hiamp1000 Too soon to tell. The reason I decided on Metformin is because Diabetes runs rampant in my family. I was seeing my A1c creep up every year to reach a peak of 5.4. Glucose getting up to 97. That 97 number is way too high. I was finding myself routinely falling asleep after eating. It was more like passing out. I was very close to pre-diabetic. The Metformin has taken my glucose down to 87. I'm trying to get it down to below 80. My A1c is down to 5.3. A little lower would be more desirable. But, I just don't take Metformin. I do intermittent fasting every day where I eat all my calories within a 4 hour period, from 2 pm to 6 pm. This allows my body to lower the blood insulin level for those 20 hours without food. So even though Metformin may be making it easier to the cells to absorb sugar, there is none in the blood. I'll report back in about 2 months with updated glucose numbers when I get my latest blood work.

Excited about all of it. I wish there was more community around it, I am the only person I know who is engaging in this stuff, kind of a lonely experience. Really looking forward to the TV show.
There needs to be a developed marketplace around aging healthcare. People have got to get away from terms like age reversal because that sounds fantastical.
OK, so you remain young, and a long time from now you are 200 years old, but you're still young looking and you feel great. What are you going to do, shoot yourself?
I'm 51. If I'm going to live potentially another century the technology will get better and better in that century and I would fully expect to life spans to become what we want rather than what we have to accept.
Dr Pius Ozigbe is Always on time. compassionate. Empathetic. easy to take to and relates exceptionally well. Hands down the most effective and efficient doctor I recommend him. thank you doctor!!!!!
Interesting new use of 'kicking the can down the road'! It usually means putting off a decision, leaving it for a later date. He uses it to mean the can is ageing or death, and we are extending life expectancy! Kudos.
Basically, long story short... EVERYTHING that David mentioned is 100% true!! Exercise, eat fewer and less per meal, intermittent fasting, watch what you eat, etc. Thanks David!!
I'm looking forward if he'll ever continue working to discover ways to for a slower aging than NMN. 20% longer isn't my ideal living. I want my cells to stay with me longer or forever without abandoning me behind, leaving me dead regardless how healthy my lifestyle was.
The game changer for you will be when they isolate the aging genes and deactivate them. Personal suspicion: more progress has been made here than what's been published.
About ten years ago a genetic research group announced they had isolated the aging genes. It was news for a week then radio silence - subject has barely surfaced since. Interesting is all ...
@@Life-Inspired-Healing It's just like with robotics, I was into robotics in 1982 and you really don't see much difference in robotics since then except companies like Boston Dynamics... the LED tech got better but other than that it's still at the same basic level as in 1982... which means they have super advanced stuff in secret that nobody knows about.
@@mohammadkooheji1286 I ask why as well. I think it's wrong when people try to discredit David Sinclair. I've been taking NMN (1g) and trans-resveratrol (500mg) supplements for 6 months, and I've noticed increased hair loss. My hair is thinning, and my scalp is showing. If I stop taking these supplements, I notice that the hair fall halts. Has anyone experienced this? Any advice?
People do not really want to live for ever - they just want to be "younger" for longer - so if we could live to 100 but remain "youthful" for the first 80 or so years that would be great enough. So working on how to substantially slow the aging process is certainly the right perspective.
Hello David Sinclair! Amazing! Need help with my 83 year old mother who has burning feet every night. We have exhausted so many avenues and have not succeeded. She is in excellent health other than this major issue. She eats well and takes many vitamins' and many different anti-inflammatory vitamins. She has tried Acupuncture and gastro check up. Nothing works. Any suggestions'? She is from Hungary.
Try Lysine, the pure kind. It's a natural and potent antiviral. If that helps, you can try some natural herbs which have potent antiviral action like Cat's Claw and Lemonbalm. Also, make sure she is not deficient in B1. Benfotiamine supplement, which is B1 but fat-soluble, could be something to consider. B1 is needed for proper nerve and brain functioning.
And lastly B12 is essential. Look for B12 liquid that has both Methylcobalamin and Adenosylcobalamin in it. They are essential for health and when you are dealing with an illness, especially viral one, you need your B12 to be at healthy levels because it is so important for the body. Zinc and Vitamin C help support the immune system and have the added benefit of regenerating damaged tissues. I hope this helps.
I have the same problem by the way. The issue is a V-irus most of the time. Epstein Barr and Shingle, the non-rashing kind, are usually the ones to look out for when it comes to these things.

The FDA have put a ban on NMN inresponse to David's company filing for a form of it as a drug. So far you can still by NMN but its future is uncertain. As it has already been sold as a supplement it may end up contested in court. While I appreciate David's research, I don't think he should get to own NMN as it occurs naturally in the body and in certain foods we eat.
Your point is well taken because that is alot of money that might seem misdirected in comparison to life giving research. But it also highlights an even greater need for military research and protection to identify and protect against bioweapons and biogenetic weapons that might spring from it. Anything that counters aging and cause deaging might be reverse bioengineered to cause accelerated or rapid and potentially irreversible aging. Where longevity research focuses on advancing life, it will be the military's job to identify how this new technology might become a threat. They will take measures to prevent that from happening or prepare for it's possibility with antidotes and counter tech. It"s also possible the military might already have this type of knowledge but keeps it under wraps based on the defensive consideration of risks above benefits. When we want to live longer their may be opponents who don't want us to live at all. And as wonderful as the results of this research can and will likely be, it's essential to keep the potential for harm in mind, primarily concerning an advancement of this magnitude.
Good morning! I am contacting with you because I am very much interested in the topic of sirtuin activation and general antiaging. I have been following various studies for years and have a strong interest in this subject. I have been wondering for a long time about the properties of astaxanthin (specifically, whether it works antiaging or also activates sirtuins). Have you ever done any research on astaxanthin? Is our any information on this subject you could share with me? Thank you very much in advance for your help! Kind regards, Mikolaj Niewirowski
I can't help but feel it's only a matter of time before the age reversal industry feels strong push back in terms of regulation which centralises the power, profits and control of distribution. A population living half again as long (as David himself alludes to in 'Lifespan') brings with it a ton of socio-economic challenges and complexities. For now, let's leverage the early opportunity presented 🙏 great work
It'll be the opposite I think. People will be desired to be less weak and fragile as aged people ar. It will be incentive(So they can continue working longer). Reversing aging process to not being an issue is a massive boon.
I've been following Dr. Sinclair for a few years now. I haven't heard him speak about Proxofim (FOX04-DRI). Also, Metformin in tablet form causes me gastric distress...e.g. distended belly. I haven't been able to find injectable metformin.
Hi David. Just wondering why your company lobbied politicians to ban NMN in the non proprietary versions and why did your company AT THE SAME TIME have a proprietary version of NMN developed that you could sell for 50x the price of the off brand NMN that your company just helped get banned?
Because money. I am super disappointed that nmn is a drug!! As if it cam hurt anyone. Really awful... so only desirable people will get to live (longer) and the rest can get cheap vaccine against new flu.. and perhaps they don't reproduce as much.

Scientists are not were it needs to happen. What needs to happen is a developed market place with the public keen on it. That will create incentives never seen before. There is no reason why aging healthcare cannot be as popular as iphones or the latest fashion trend.
Peter needs to rethink his comments about the FDA in light of the total disaster these poison jabs are causing. Safety was never a priority, profit was the only issue.
If we can ever regenerate energy cells in the body for reverse aging we may be able to reverse and even repair bad or damaged brain cells in people who have memory loss. we may be able to revers it in our main DNA base codes I hope that can become a reality.

Age reversal is HERE!!! .... In the lab. Unfortunately, anyone 30 years and older will be long dead before any of the stuff talked about here becomes a bonafide treatment for aging. I appreciate the detail of breakthroughs - they are astounding - but let's face it, from initial trials with mice to working therapies on humans is one or two generations away. Maybe my grandson will be able to use this?
If the FDA is the problem, you should to move to a country that will be easier to go on with all the researchers. The paradigm is absolutely different than the FDA is made for. We need new rules, just imagine... The american pharmacy industry wants a world without diseases? They will try to block anything that attack their profits. Just look for a place that all these ideas could success.... Maybe USA is not the right country
Yeah but outside of USA you have issues with cold chain and all your science regularly keeps being destroyed sitting on a shelf in the fedex custom office
We need progress. One way of getting important information quickly to guide later human trials is to perform experiments on Primates. What we would need is to reverse the age of an aged Primate such as an old Chimpanzee. What does the Chimpanzee have to lose? We should be able to get primate trials done much earlier so that we can use this information to help to de-risk the human trials and thus to get them approved earlier.

Question........ Why do we age? What changes in our bodies to cause us to age? So....do we fix the root of the problem or do we stick with tradition and focus on the systems.
Our cells fail to replicate as they once did when we were young lads and lasses. But using the Yamanaka factors, our cells can “remember” what we once were. Fingers crossed here!
To stop aging we would have to fight entropy itself, systems slipping into chaos, a universal constant. It's easier to just "reset" the cells every couple of decades.
There is a way to get clarity of safety that is more effective than mechanical instruments/testing, but that will require that scientist recognize and employ the value of intuition. I foresee a future where the most sensitive and trained instruments on earth (certain type of humans) and scientists work together in harmony to make great and highly valued strides.
What about no-carb intermittent fasting? As best as I can tell as a psychic energy healer the benefits of eliminating insulin resistance with wholesome nutrition surpass the promise of inventing some bio-manipulative intervention.

Great interview but I wonder how much time do you spend studying people that don't seem to age very much? Take me and my mother and her mother who died at 100 with no skin wrinkles. I also retain a toned body without working out for going on 30 years now. Both my mother and I heal with no scaring. 10 years ago a half inch of the tip of my ring finger was cut off to the point I could see the bone sticking out. I never went to the ER or had it treated. The bleeding stopped around 4 min then a white membrane grew around it 30 to 50 minutes later. This is when I knew something strange was happening so I started taking pictures. This white membrane expanded to the same size as my finger was then but never turned into a scab. 2 weeks later the finger prints started coming back. After a month the entire finger tip was regrown but felt like baby skin. I was amazed as other people I know that had something similar happen showed me their finger and said it was not ever the same. I've cut my hand to the bone in the past and had full healing but this was the first time I ever cut something off and had it grow back, I was 45 at the time. Two years ago I had what they call a boxers break on my left hand but after 18 months I was still unable to make a proper fist. Last month I was able to make a fist again to my surprise. I'm 54 now. I also don't seem to loose muscle tone even though I have not worked in 10+ years. I'm sure there are other people like me in the world and wonder if we could improve on what is driving my healing factor as I would love to heal as fast as "The Wolverine" and live as long. ;-)

A.I and biology need to merge
We seem to be the same. I think not eating is also the answer but they have know this for decades. I wonder if you are like me in the way I don't feel hunger of thirst for the most part? I have to remind myself to drink water and eat food and it has been this way my whole life.

Didn’t he have the FDA remove NMN from the supplement market by listing it as a drug?
That's why he's grateful for them. I don't think the FDA protects the public.
He tried.

Even though he didn't advise against it, it was clear he disapproved my taking medication a doctor hadn't prescribed.
metformin longevity study was a fail

Imagine what we would have if all military spending had been spent on medical/biotech research.
We would've been a radioactive suburb of Roosha; no lie. Go study some actual history.🌅
That would be the end of the USA
It's easy if you try 🙏☺️

Why not also work with bryan johnson to see how NMN for each organ age can be reversed?
If he is a scientist why does he refuse to respond to other scientists who disagree with his claims? The following is an example.

What a pity the same care before introduction was not taken regarding vaccines and restrictions during Covid
Awesome!
David says he sips green tea all day. I read Green tea is high in heavy metals & Fluoride. How is it good for you?
How many animals get killed doing those experiments? I'm young but I'm looking forward to this future.
9 years to go!
but if you freeze the body then where to goes the soul ?
Two of my favourite people
Much love!
I find it more than ironic that longevity stuff is experimental, but having a covid vaccination forced on me to continue to work at my job was not!!
The humor is welcomed ☺ Not too much of course, but life is worth it because it's funny as much as anything else.
Laughing benefits our circulation and eases muscular tension 😄
We have unlimited potential, you are all early adopters and so am I.
I'm sure there are other people like me in the world and wonder if we could improve on what is driving my healing factor as I would love to heal as fast as "The Wolverine" and live as long. ;-)
Realy ? Or do you have taken DMSO, small peptides... ?
@@mrodino3544 No, I don't take anything. I try to only eat 1 meal a day and try to eat nothing twice a month. All food is bad for you but you have to eat to live. I'm slim not thin but I'm muscular without going to the gym. If I go to the gym to lift I get ripped in days but I don't like the feeling of being ripped because it make me feel like a monster.
@@mrodino3544 I don't even know what DMSO is LOL.🤣
@@StefRush hi, I'm from India, could you please tell me your lifestyle, like what you eat a day, and your activities, supplements you taking, or doing some kind of yoga or something, I also want to have anti aging and want to like Wolverine,
@@jishnurajrnandu Hello, First I should add I was born in Trinidad one of the worlds melting pots so I'm by default mixed blood line. I don't do yoga or exercise like I did in my 30s. I have however used bio feed back from the time I was 4 years old to make pain go away. I use to get migraines from the time I was 4 -15 years old. Back in the 70s a doctor told me that there are no drugs he can give me for the pain but he told me I could make the pain go away by just thinking about it. I now see that as a child you just blindly trust what adults tell you so I began trying to think my pain away. The process is to long to explain here but this also taught me to lower my heart rate also. I also realized when it came to cuts or injury I could use this same process to make swelling go down or not happen in the first place. I also try not to eat solid food before 11am and most days only eat once a day. I use bio feed back to not feel hunger when I was younger but now it is build in response to food. I also try to only sleep 6 to 7 hours a day unless I'm very physically active. The one thing that I feel is very important is to always flex your belly in so your stomach is flat. You most do this nonstop all your waking hours. You should always have a 6 pack abs without working out. Do not let you guts expand. These are the basic things I've done my whole life but there is much more I could tell you on the subject.
I dont see it in my location - Mumbai (India)
