Good question. It took about an hour. However, a good portion of the time was on me. At least 30 mins was spent trying to get good lighting or find a camera angle for said lighting. Typically, this would be a 30 min job. And I 100% agreed, she did a great job.
yea...oil filters and sparkplugs. people seem to believe the tighter the better. had to strip off the filter housing one time to get the remaining filter piece off. quick oil changed turned into an afternoon job.
That woman under the Mustang could use some sort of close-fitting cap to keep motor oil and dirt from getting on her hair. I had the same initial spurt and spill of old oil when I first loosened the drain plug. I bought a much larger pan to catch the oil next time.

Oil Viscosity Grade can be found in the owners manual, and the filter part number depends on the manufacturer. Most oil suppliers will provide the part numbers based on your year, make, and model.

Which step?
Right there on the ratchet was it set to loosen ?
I see that too. I think its because its supposed to come off counter clockwise? So it would be moving it to the right?
Did you replace drain plug washer? Do you have part number for it ?
No, the drain plug does not have a crush washer
What about draining the oil catch can?
