My mustang saved my ass twice lol. I once put my jacket in my trunk with key fob in it and tried to close it. I slapped the trunk lid twice and it wouldn't close. When I was about to get mad, I finally realized that my key is inside lol.
Do not dead lock (Double tap the lock button) so the hooter sounds - I accidently did this and dropped my jacket with key fob in the pocket into the boot and I was unable to open any of the doors or boot again. I had to wait for the spare key to unlock the car and get in.
Damn I thought I knew all the little tricks but I hadn't figured that one out, now I'm going to have to try it out tomorrow just so I can see it for myself. Lol. Thanks for that tip.
Congratulations on your Mustang :-) I've had a Boss for close to a decade and live it. Be careful, a car passion can get ahold of you, lol. Any tighter and I'll need a bigger garage, lol.
Missed: #1. Trunk unlock button under bumper (between GT/Mustang and the license plate). #2. Eyeglasses drawer under the headlight switch. #3. Pen holder on the underside of the armrest.
Also with the key feature putting the windows down it will put them up. Nice if you left your windows down and it starts raining. (If your in range). Just use lock button instead.
You were almost correct on the FOB Key, you have to use that key just to take off that plastic cover. Then there is a traditional Door key hole to put the key in and turn to unlock the door. Just sticking the key in that plastic slot does nothing than allowing you to slide that cover off.
@@HiPocket303 Yeah, but if you notice there is a slot in the FOB itself that the end of the key goes into to help you turn it. I have a 2020, So my FOB is completely different. My 2013 Focus had a similar FOB, same concept.

V6 come on guys. If I had the money to buy a V6 because I couldn’t afford the Coyote V8, I still wouldn’t buy it, the v6 exhaust sounds like a vagina fart, and they are slow and a disgrace to the Ford Mustang. I would instead use the money for bus rides, high class hookers and heroin. V6 come on guys. If I had the money to afford the Coyote mustang and the V6, I still wouldn’t buy it. It’s not that much more than a V-8 Coyote. If the wife says you can’t get the V-8 then it’s time to get a new wife
You can also program the key in the cup holder in case your friend, family member, grandfather, etc. wants to use it, you can program it at what speed the car goes, for example, you do not want it to pass 60 miles per hour, the maximum speed that the car will go will be 60 m / h
You can also program the radio volume so they can’t blow your speakers up. I have the teenager key for when we let the kids take it to Prom. 65 mph and 50% volume on the radio! Haha!
Thanks for the tips. I just bought my 2015 Mustang GT 50 year limited edition. I accidently, happily, found out the seat position it automatic. Of course you have to have power seats and the 3 seat position buttons by the door lock buttons. I programmed it by pushing the Start button once (not starting the engine) and moving the seat to the far back position. Pushed and held button 1 to program that position. Then I moved the seat to my driving position, pushed and held button 2 to program that position. My thinking was that I would have to use the two bottons for ease of getting in and out of car. But I found that now when I get in and start the car, the seat automatically moves to my driving position and when I stop the engine, the seat moves all the way back for getting out.
I’ve had my Stang for a year and have just been mind blown!! I have struggled figuring out the back of the seat level. Now it makes sense! Lol I was just yelling at my teenager for misplacing my manual from my glovebox…oops lol. I had no idea on the window unlock feature.
So how about I've had my '16 for a couple months now, and didn't find out about this until today... -on the base models only tho, apparently (so not on the performance packages supposedly I guess🤷♂️) .. pushing the traction control once turns it off, holding it for 5 seconds turns off advanced track like you said,, try pushing the button twice actually really quick and it actually has a SPORT mode I had no idea about this whole time! ..as far as what it means to be in sport mode, you'll probably have to search for that video next after this one just like I'm gonna have to do myself lol
The mode button also has "sport" if you click it twice ,changes the steering and "mostly" turns of the tractions controls...watch out it will jump in on a long drift. Edit: Holy sh*t, I've got an owners manual.
The one tip that the 2015 to 2017 mustang u said that I forgot about is the one u click once n click twice n hold is the unlock button on the key fob n the both windows roll down to air vent the inside of the mustang
8:02 looks like a kids face staring back at you from the back seat... pretty sure its just a napkin or towel but, creeped the shiz out of me the first time

Lol, I got a 2015 convertible. The trunk release quit working. Took me forever to find the keyhole for the trunk release. (It's behind the edge of the rear backseat cushion on the drivers side. Hardtops it's in the trunk.)
Yeah and mine came with a portable air compressor instead of a spare tire which sucks .the compressor has like 3 injectable tubes of sealant to seal a leak but if you gave a blowout you're screwed .at least you'd think they would of at least gave you a donut tire .
I have the 21 EcoBoost and with the Windows all the way up, you will notice when Opening the Door, the windows with Drop a bit! But when you re close the door the window will re close making a Nice tight seal!

good job mate, the first "s550 hidden features" vid that actually got the keybof right, all the others said BS also noone mentioned the funnel which is quite important to know and I thought was quite neat where they stored it I haven't even driven the car yet except the pre-purchase test drive and I already read the manual (just scrolled through on PC and read what cought my eyes, took maybe 15mins) and I already needed to put some more gas in it as the car was delivered to me almost empty and still in garage waiting for license plates
Great video, i just bought the subwoofer and amplifier , but i need the wiring harness to installere it in my car, Would you please write the ford numbers fore the wiring and others that i need soo i can order it from ford ? Thank you very much
You do know you have to prop the little cover off on the door handle to get to where the key insert is right? You don't just insert it in that hole and the door opens.
He did say the key pops the plastic cap and you unlock it under it, may not of said that exact phrase but I though forsure he said it pops the cap off then you can access the lock. I actually had to use it could days ago after disconnecting my battery, very easy to do really.
Great vid! Could have used that info about key in the cup holder a few weeks ago! When fob didn’t work (no warning) I got my spare (which I NEVER USE) and it didn’t work either😡. Believe it or not batteries in both were dead!!
Dude this video was excellent. I had no idea about the hidden key/door lock/cupholder start. Thats an insane extra from Ford. Going to open mine right now.
A good sales rep will show customers all this stuff at delivery. Also, if you're buying used, the key fob battery is the first thing you replace ASAP. We all read the owners manual when we get a new car... right?
I have a 2017 GT350. I wonder if it's mostly the same stuff. I always wondered how to get the windows down with the remote. I was just pressing and holding once instead of hitting the unlock button twice, holding the second time. In my 2017 M3 you just press and hold once for roll down. I wonder if it will work for rolling up as well? On the M3 you simply press and hold your finger on the door handle 'lock' part and the windows go up.
Also, don't transport 2 active key fobs in the car. It confuses things like the A/C. If you need to transport 2 key fobs, take the battery out of one of them and don't put that key in the console, place it in the glovebox.
