I make these stars from all the HST cut offs so they don’t go to waste. I just throw them in a small basket beside my machine. They seldom match and always look wonky as they are often different sizes. So glad you made this video!

They might be cute as the starting square for a log cabin block. Also, hand piecing stitch and flip blocks is very easy and would make a great take with you project. Thanks for another fun video.
I’ve been making these for a while( I need 500). Starch is key. I make mine an 1/8” oversized and trim before adding to centre square. I like how you fussy cut the centres..
