@@David-1-2-7 they go like 25 mph when all stock but you can upgrade them pretty easily if you want them to go faster. for me I prefer putting around on trails not trying to break speed records on a tiny bike.
Bout time America Companies are figuring out what me and you already know. Americans still love Mini Bikes. Dirt bikes are off the charts on price so if they build good bikes with Suspension, a torque convertor and 7hp engine and you keep the price low these things will take off again. People modify stock ones. If they can buy one on this level for the right price Coleman will be working overtime.
@@fukhue8226 Even if they tighten their tolerances on everything a bit, make the engines smoother and more reliable, I'd be willing to spend more $$$ on them to be able to keep them on the trails a bit longer between maintenance intervals, and minimize the situations where "I need to loctite this" and "I need to replace all these things before my next ride." Let's face it, if the bike setup is good and reliable, and it needs fewer mods, these bikes can satisfy at least 50% of the use case of a casual trail rider. I've been riding trails for 20+ years, and bikes for 25+ years - I've been riding 4-stroke 250's for longer than 20 years on some NASTY terrain, and I'm able to RIP down trails on my mini bikes with a LOT less effort.
I hat the CT200U-EX Coleman and it came from the factory with the bolt holding the fork on loose. It almost came off in under a month of picking it up using it.
I bought one Saturday @ 67 years old. I have been looking for years and bought this on the spot. I didn't notice the forward mount holes for the rear shocks, thank you. I'll have to do mine as well, we used to froward mount the rear shocks back in my motocross days to get more travel, back in the early 70's. I have a Ghost sitting on the shelf, My fingers are starting to itch..... It looks good in the garage next to the Road Glide.
Fork angle you mentioned. I just had to check since I have a few Coleman framed mini bikes. I checked with a digital unit. I believe the DB30 Baja is the same frame as the Coleman CT200 U. My DB30 (Baja) fork angle is about 30 degrees, the Coleman BT200X is 26 degrees and the new Coleman B200 checked out at 24 degrees. Have a great day!
I saw one at our local TSC a few weeks ago. Threw a leg over it and was very surprised at how tight the suspension was. I can't ride a no suspension mini bike anymore due to back issues from a previous "incident" so I'm giving this a hard look despite wanting an actual dirt/trail bike. However, I just ain't got the green for it. I'm glad to see it get the RBG/Lonnie seal of approval.
There are some really nice Chinese dirtbikes out there that ride very nicely. I Have an X-Pro and it's very plush. You'd definitely be able to ride one.
I have the XPro 125 with full lighting package......was 1300 delivered......pretty hard to beat these new chinese bikes, they're actually getting pretty good
Save your 💰💰💰and just buy a 🇯🇵🇯🇵 trail bike. I have been turning wrenches on bikes for literally decades. I would not pay more than $100 for one of these things. Unless you’re really mechanically inclined and don’t want to push it out of the woods, don’t even touch this junk !

A few people tend to always break their throttle cables. Most likely from the throttle having more travel than the linkage at the carburetor. The screw on the twist grip is a good way to prevent stress on the cable.
In the beginning of this video, when giving immediate first impressions, please future reference this, you should have asked Lonnie more of his first thoughts and perspectives so we have more overall feedback on the bike and more overall impressions, your feedback is awesome red beard , and you are the man, but we want to hear lonnies as well , he is the other man, lol
Just bought the B200r a few months back to add to my coleman collection. My rb100 and ct100 have the kickstand bracket removed after 100s of root snags. Ct200u and ct200ex have enough clearence. Great video
I put a rear suspension on my B200r, I also did some engine work, it’s pretty impressive. Voided my warranty by putting in aftermarket but I didn’t care
Is there a chain tensioner on it ? Will the chain jumping off the sprocket be an issue on this one ? Watch and see I suppose. How many modifications will be done the first week ???
I have concerns about being a little to big for this bikes rear shocks. I'm 6'2" 255lbs. How tall are you and how much do you weight if you don't mind me asking?
Those bikes like the mega 212 are not really made for any serious off road riding. In the end you will end up basically building a new bike with all the added parts. I am in the process of rebuilding a Mega 212 - new front forks/triple tree , rear MFC Monoshock suspension , new foot pegs and on and on 🙂
Trying to choose between this and the trail master hurricaine. I like how this has an adjustable mount for the rear shock and a LED headlight and good build quality but i like that the trailmaster is much faster and sportier. Which one should i buy? First time buying a mini bike and im a big dude Also, the trailmaster has better tires i dont wanna deal with these v treads and the price of getting new off roaders and mounting them, idk if its worth not getting the trailmaster
I got one at 61. Love it. But the headlight don't work it did a few rides back. I think it's the light had to order one from coleman 2-4 weeks . Long time. I think it's the light. Some should do a review. I'm sure it's the light. Every thing works....😮
Bro I’m getting crazy with my builds. They are both getting way out of hand 😂. At this point I have a 2011 ninja 250 swing arm which just happens to be exactly the dimensions of my swing arm but 21” long VS my 14” swing arm. So of course it has the ninja chain guard, spool sliders. Chain slide. And my front end is from JFG and it’s a CNC blue billet triple meant for a DRZ400 with aftermarket shocks in it. Now I’m gonna take this new welder I bought and start beefing it up because after I’m done and bored with my 241cc Honda build I’m gonna do a 250cc 4 stroke vertical 5 speed and weld up motor mounts for it 💪🏻💪🏻
Still working on it. I had to make a custom steering neck and that took me some time to figure out. It’s all welded on as of yesterday. Now I can slide on the triple and install my swing arm. I found that my Cafe 2.4 gal tank was not factored into where I welded my seat brackets so I have to redo those so they meet but it’s about to be a roller soon
Great head light 🚦 visor. 😊 You could have used a smaller bolt 🔩 and bushing instead of drilling in the frame. Just add extensions to the stock shocks to lift it up. 😊 I'm only here to help. 😮😮😮😮

That’s my next adventure and I’m looking al over for mounting tabs and stuff but I’m having a hard time with it because idk what it’s gonna look like or the dimensions of the engine mount locations and stuff
You would probably be better off fabricating your own tabs etc . and start (after) you've got everything. At the very least ,frame and engine. That will take most of the guess work out of the process which will also lessen the likelihood of wasted time due to needless mistakes. Just a suggestion, good luck.
Hey RBG, I recently bought a phantom all terrain motorized bike, it currently have a stock "Lifan 79cc" engine, do you mind doing a series on upgrading the exact engine with billet parts and a torque convertor . Thx
on mini bikes, go carts and snowmobiles they called torque converters. Cvts are on cars. Same basic principle except these have belts not a metal chain. Torque converters also can change springs to change stall speed engagement
The tires look like they'd be good for sand and that's most of the riding behind my house. i got one in wait for it, CALIFORNIA! Everyone say they made a mistake because they are not supposed to be sold here.
You need to do the Greenworks electric mini bike. Seems like you get quite a bit with them. Maybe upgrade the electric drive system or it looks easy enough to convert it to a small block.
I bought a similar one (Coleman b200) I have a question, Ar about 40 to 45 mph the motor cuts out. Any ideas what it could be. Had a 224cc and same thing. i swapped out again with a 196cc and same thing happened. Fully deleted running PKW28 and i changed them out 3 times. ????
