Thank you soo much for the NEW float settings. Ive been battling the float level on this DGEV as it has a different looking float bracket. Inverted, the float part kicks up and the tab portion kicks down off the 19mm plane of the pivot pin. It was almost impossible to get 18mm without major bending and forget that 35mm from the float bottom setting. My float was 27mm tall and getting the 35mm to the bottom was only leaving 8mm from the top of the carb! websites are still quoting either 35 from bottom or 18 from top with no supporting data on what float they are using.
Thanks for this video. Very informative. I'm trying to detect the cause of a misfire in my 1979 124 spider 2.0. Perhaps the jets, and also the spark plugs. The car idles differently at different times, I've tuned the carb three times now.
hmm the supercharger might change things. Best thing to do is get a wideband sensor you can put in your tailpipe and you'll easily be able to see if you need to go larger or smaller on jets. amzn.to/40bXppG

Check spark, fuel, and air first, then move to any Vaccuum lines, then cooling. May help
Definitely useful info. Looking at getting an older carb vehicle. This kind of stuff helps a ton.
Glad it was helpful!
I envy your knowledge. Well done.
Thank you! Cheers!
What do the two hoses of of the intake connect to? Mine has some and idk what to do with em
Is your name Tony by any chance?
Are you Ezekiel?
Should I swap each other the primary secondary 60 50 on supercharged 1300cc engine?

Hello... what jets do you have this carburetor? 32/36 weber Main ... idle... jets ...emulsion tube...air correctors... and pump jet... please
Excuse me, the numbers of all the 1983 Fiat Carbaritier Fiat 131 are 1600.
Can I know the speed and air brake numbers, 131, the tan machine, 1600 model 1983
Where does the hose on the air filter go to?
crankcase breather
Just went to do this, and my tiny little clip is missing lol from the factory
Must have been assembled after having a few glasses of vino at lunch that day 😅
What did you set the main and air corrector jets to?
137/140 main jets and 165 air correctors. They come that way from Autoricambi, and most other suppliers.
@@BookAutowerks I am putting this on a smaller 1438cc, so may go down a step or so on fuel and air.
If you took those stupid rubber gloves off you could work better, doing clean work do you really need them? No you don't.
