All i can remember of johnny wilkinson is kicking goals he did not have the overall skill set that Carter had. Wilkinson only had 2003 which is when he was good but his best highlights were kicking drop goals he did not have the same vision as Carter to create and set up tries Carter beats him in nearly every stat with the less amount of tests played
Haven't you heard of Daniel Carter? only the highest points scorer in super rugby and test rugby not to mention 4 super rugby titles with crusaders 10 bledislode cup titles won against coopers team 6 trination titles and part of world cup winning team. Quade cooper does some cool flash passes and sidesteps but don't underestimate Carters skill set. THE GREATEST FIVE EIGHTH TO PLAY THE GAME

how can people compare Owen Farrell to Dan carter/quade cooper? it's beyond me.. im a 5/8 from England and even i would say Owen Farrell is no where near on the level Dan carter or quade is on, he maybe getting there slowly but he isn't there yet.. as a player from England i look up too quade cooper more than any other player, DC is the best fly-half that walks this planet but i just love the desire, creativity and rugby brain that quade has. he has the balls to do things others wouldn't!

and just for you as the play maker in Rugby there are so much more to the steps. Sure Quade Cooper's steps adds a lot of extra to the game, but his basics are still shaky.

Owen Farrell better than Carter, he only had one test where the All Blacks all played terrible against a determined English team. I never really saw much of what he done but lets see him up against a determined Carter at the end of year tour. Aaron Cruden will having something to say about that he is playing extremely well at the moment and i'm sure he will outplay your farrell

Where did I say their forwards were the best in the world? It's obvious they have had problems upfront over the last decade but for SA to only take over 2nd place now it just shows how big the gap is between 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The games they played against teams like Samoa were hardly Wallaby A teams, more like super rugby 'stars' who got a feel of International level. Haven't you heard of the saying 'the better team lost on the day'? I'm actually going to stop wasting my time with an you.

its not perfect terminology i know that, but in NZ some times we refer to the position as first five eighth.
He excellent when he plays in super 15, just need to improve a little internationally. But will come with more experience. Great player!
