Cooper is a better player than this world cup showed, but he's had to grow up a bit in the last few weeks. I'd expect him to come back. Really proves that test rugby isn't easy for anyone, and shouldn't be taken as if it is. If he just focuses on playing what's in front of him, he'll come right.
The way NZ treated him at RWC will only make him better. you got to him there, but in not NZ stadiums, with more experience and a harder/more memorable lesson learnt than anyone else at the WC, any All Black included, he will be the real deal. You just made Quade a young veteran, good luck dealing with him in the future idiots, you've created what he'll become.
His performance in the world cup was similar to messi's world cup in soccer last year , in someways I guess both players struggled in the biggest stage of them all.

Well you don't even see defensive highlights on Dan Carter. Quade is an attacking player and we all know his defense is questionable at some points, but he's one of the best defensive fullbacks and counterattackers in the world. Dont believe me? Watch Reds-Crusaders 2011 r15 and you'll see how brilliant he can be
watch the 2005 lions tour of NZ. dan carter had more magic in that series than cooper has in his entire career. moving foward, carter has added so much to his game play, he is far superior in every aspect, to cooper.
