Thank you Dr Pal. I am so happy to have come across your channel. I am a 39 year old woman who had made peace with gradual weight gain over the years, justifying it as a norm. After following the circadian rhythm IF fasting, I have dropped down 9 kegs in 3 months. What motivates me is that focus is not on looking good but a healthy body inside out. God bless you and your family. Lots of love, from Karachi Pakistan.

Thanks Dr pal for your invaluable suggestions on intermittent fasting, it worked like magic for me. I am 30 year old man, have reduced 5 kg in 1 and half month with normal routine, just by having meal between 10 AM and 6 PM each day.
I sincerely want to express my gratitude towards you. May God bless you with all luck and you continue to enlighten millions on gut health.

Actually, this method is very old and known Jainism since time-immemorial. They have concept of not eating anything before sunrise and after sunset.

Last two days I have veen chewing cloves the entire day - may be like 12 - 15 or more because of having cough since the weekend.. I realized that I am not getting the hunger at the timings I have a habit of eating my meals. I used this opportunity and eat only once yesterday and today. However is it safe to chew these many cloves? Or is cloves harmful in this quantity? Also will I still get benefits of empty stomach, if I'm chewing on this spice? Your guidance would be a good direction to me, I'm really planning to switch to one meal a day eating style.

One question to Dr. Pal: I am not obese and I have put down upto 20 kgs already as I trained for marathon running!! So is it okay if I follow 9-10 hours of fasting window(say 9.00 PM to 7.00 am) instead of 11-12 hours? Will that be conducive for the GUT?

Hello Dr. Pal. I have a question: For the people who hail from countries which are situated near North and South pole where some months there won't be Sun in proper times, how do those people follow circadian rhythm?

These countries use artificial lights during darkness which is equivalent to sunlight.

Hi Dr.! I’m an MBBS student studying in Seth GSMC and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. My q to you is how do we medical students, esp given our hectic night time schedules full of clinics and exam prep, still stay in sync w circadian rhythm? Any practical tips will be of immense help 😇

dr Pal..u should be knowing about jainism and the method of stopping to eat after sunset. we should be proud to spread any or all such things which are good in all religions. no doubt today scientists have shown as a science and that is a good point

Hello Dr. Pal, I live in US since 2015...I was diagnosed couple of days before with gall bladder stone size 1.5 cm, there is no inflammation or tenderness. Some times I have pain attack during night time. What is the treatment option without surgery? I have my appointment with the gynecology doctor in few days... Please provide your thoughts on this..
