After watching multiple box bag videos,I’ve stopped looking for the best instructions. Hands down this one is the most clear to learn from. Thank you 😍
I love this tutorial. You are always so clear with your directions. I am going to start making these for those times I need a quick gift. I have always been afraid of zippers but your soothing voice has given me the confidence to start trying with a small project. Thank you.
Love the way you move slowly and explain everything in detail so people with less experience can follow successfully. Thanks for making this project doable--I will use it to teach my two granddaughters how to make this bag for gifts.
I love when I search and you’re tutorials pop up. I was literally just telling my husband how cute I thought you and your husband are. It’s great to have support. You’re videos are awesome. Thank you for your time
Hi Budgetmama. So glad the sewing tutorials are helpful. My husband Manny is very supportive and likes to help out when he can. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
I appreciate your patience. Your sweet voice and kindness. You give me so much comfort and confidence in sewing. Like a nostalgic feeling in a class. Thank you! ❤️
thank you for this tutorial which I have just followed and now (many hours later lol) I have a beautifully made cosmetic pouch....im so pleased with how it turned out, couldn't have done it without your step by step guide...thank you x
Just found you but have immediately subscribed. Tutorial wonderful in more ways than one. Came for the instruction but stayed for the ambience - gorgeous Americana much appreciated by this Brit. Best wishes to you all.
Lilian. Glad you enjoyed the video ending. The guy in the middle is my big ham of a husband Manny. The other 2 are very good friends of ours Steve, and Sue. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
This was my 2nd attempt at making a box zipper pouch. I messed up so bad the first time. I wanted to give up. This tutorial was more easy to understand. Thank you so much!
I plan on making these for the men in my family for Christmas. Only I'm going to try to figure out how to add a short handle strap on one end for them to carry it with. Thanks for all your easy projects. Love to you and your family and may God bless you always.
Great video! Ya'll are so cute! Love all of your videos. Learning to sew again, and better because of your videos and youtube. You make things easy. Thank you so much!
Thank you for the clear tutorial. One thing that my concerns are can see the seems inside the pouch. After using many times hoping it would not tear off.
what type of fusible interface do you recommend? I just tried sewing one of these and i must have used a too thick/stiff type and I was not able to bend it correctly so it didn't turn out well. thanks.
Perfect timing !!! I need to make a few medication bags. Something nice to carry to Dr appts. Quick and easy sew....something fun to do ! Thank you for such a clear instruction :)
Hi, thank you for this wonderful pattern. Very cute. Question: When do you pull the pulls out on each side of the zipper. It's just there on the inside. Thank you.
Hi Janice. Go to 06:03 to view how and where the tabs are placed. You will notice they are placed on the front/outside of the fabric with the raw edges of the tabs placed on the raw edges of the fabric. Go the 09:48 and you will notice as you turn the bag front side out the pull tabs will be there on the outside of the bag. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍

I LOVE your videos , you make it easy to follow. If I need to make a bigger bag how do I know what size to do the corners? I need one that is 12” long and 7” tall😩 My dad wants it for his toiletries and medications🙈
Thank you for the video! Does anyone know the finished size of the box pouch? I need a pouch to put medications in for travel and want to be sure they all fit in one bag. Appreciate a reply. Thank you!
I cut my fusible fleece 9“ x 13“ instead of 9 1/2 x 13“. I have already fused it to the fabric. Should I install the zipper to the edge that doesn’t have the fusible or cut my fabric to 9 inches?
Hi Sharon. It is an easy fix. Center the fusible fleece over the fabric. You should have 1/4 of fabric extending each end. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
Hi User-kv6y. You can go on the internet and look up "inches to centimeters", and then print out the chart. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
I like the size but next time I’ll sew the outer and lining separately so I don’t have raw seams inside (didn’t serge but zigzag stitched) looked too messy for me.
Hi Sharon. This is an easy fix. Just center the fleece over the fabric for the outside of the bag. You will have just 1/4" of fabric extending out past the fleece. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍

Perhaps I did a poor job of conveying my question. I want to make pockets in the cube pouch. I made one for my husband and he said it would advantageous to have pockets for travel size toiletries. This caused me to consider placement of the pockets on the lining fabric on the cube. I am seeking how to position the pockets to the triangles that determine height minus the seam allowance. I want the pockets to be standing up in the cube and not lying on the bottom.
@@jancooksey8751 Hi Jan. I understand what you want. But still watch the video. You can use the technique to create and add pockets to the inside of a cube pouch. Just make sure you add the pockets to the lining fabric before you stitch the cube pouch together. Let me know how it turns out. Stay safe, thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
