Thank you for this tutorial. I followed along with you and it came out great. I attempted this a few times from other tutorials and it didn’t come out right. I’m still learning & practicing ❤
So happy i finally found the way I want to make my boxy pouch! With the turning point at the zipper. Like that you use cm instead of inch. Can’t wait to see what else you create
I have made boxy pouches in so many different ways now with you tube videos. I found this to be the best one for me. I liked the turning gap next to the zip, much easier to close this neatly. Boxy pouches are always tricky on the corners, but I managed this with fusible wadding on the outside fabric. I put end straps on this one for a change.
Enjoyed the different placement of the turn inside out hole along the zipper. Most use the center of the bottom lining area. I like your method shown here. And it's easy to finish shut without leaving any indication which can happen with the other option. I have 10 pieces of 12 x 8 pieces of faux suede and bought two sets so I can piece together this will leave a seam in the bottom middle but that shouldn't be a problem. I could make these without a lining but this faux suede is very thin so plan to add some light interfacing and a lining too. I'm working out where to place inside pockets along my lining piece before it's sewn. I'm going to go with just fabric pocket with no zipper. I may gather the pocket with elastic. I needed a green boxy bag too but the suede set has no greens so will use some vinyl I have which is much heavier a marine grade upholstery vinyl. So I plan not to line that one. Everything else has a lining. Of course it won't have a pocket or interfacing either.. Enjoyed this tutorial very much and liked the way you edited it with an over voice. Great job.
I want to add a trim beside each zipper side so would it still work if I left my gap on the lining because it’s more difficult to add after closing the gap

This is by far the best guidance I’ve seen for a boxy pouch! Thank you for taking the time to share your talent with us.
Thank you for making a detailed video, I have watched about five and this is the only one that explained everything and didn’t leave anything out.
So glad you found my tutorial helpful ❤️
Thank you for giving measurements, taking your time to speak and explain thoroughly. Wonderful tutorial.
Your instructions are so clear & the bag is beautifully finished, thank you
So glad you love the tutorial! ❤️
I make box pouches and you have just shown me another way to sew them. Thanks
Can’t wait to try this tutorial out! THANK YOU! So smart to hide the lining seam by the zipper so you don’t see it at the bottom! 🧵🪡
Best boxy bag video I've seen. Thank you!❤
So glad you love this video! 🥰❤️

Made a quilted version of this as a birthday gift! Turned out so cute. Thanks :)
Great tutorial ❤thank you will be making this box pouch
Interesting, leaving the gap on the zipper. I has not seen that before
It’s such a great tutorial to try ❤️
Me either.
Thanks for the great tutorial. It will be my first time trying to make a puch!
Love it thank you and that fabric is beautiful

What wold be the finished size? Great tutorial really clear instructions 😊
I like the opening on zipper because I don't like the way sewn openings look in lining.
Thanks
very nice going to try
I love kislux that on the butterfly bag it says auguri / tanti auguri which means happy birthday
I don’t miss a day a week kislux This show..
I had a (very 😛) hard time turning it through that 2 ins opening 😳 but the finished bag is very nice
I always add a turning opening as wide as my four fingers. This should make turning it a bit easier.
Thank you for the measurements in inches as well.
At 2:34 you say "With the wrong side of the zipper facing down"
Is this correct?
How did you top stitch with the zipper? I cant sew all the way
What does it look like inside? Is it seem less?
Hey! What are dimensions of the final pouch are?
could you possibly show a close-up of the inside? Are all the seams hidden? Thanks!
Great tutorial but sadly found it very difficult to align both fabrics together to do the corners with both pieces interfaced. Can't actually do them!
How to align that box corner at 7:32 pls somebody help😭😭
I just made 1 now 'so easy hey
So glad you love the tutorial ❤️
I am new to sewing and this was quite confusing for me I don't think I did this right.
I could not find the fabric measurements...anyone have that info?
Main fabric 36cm by 28cm
Lining 36cm by 28cm
Zipper tabs 6cm by 6cm (2pc)
@@shirinjabir1472 thank you!
