Without doubt one of the best movies ever made and that sound track is something else. I have lost count of how many times I have watched the movie and listen to the sound track. Beautiful.

Highly influenced by james horner .and harry gregson Williams...but this one piece beats everything..how well travor jones has successfully blendes a celtic tune 'the gael' by duggy mclearn with an aincent native American tune..its just great..i have hear both the compositions separately countless time..but this merger stands out ❤🙏🇮🇳
Realmente es una version modernizada de una primera pelicula con el mismo nombre y mismo guion de los años 60, pero ésta más moderna ganó un 50% mas por ésta magistral banda sonora que hizo que el film fuera epico. Hay que añadir que tanto en el vestuario como en los lugares donde filmaron mejoraban una barbaridad la primera pelicula.

Native Americans were pretty savage......I'm British so might be biased, but relatively speaking for a powerful people of the time we were reasonable and civilized generally.....if any amerindians had had same level of power, they would have made the Nazis look like a bunch of hippies!

Had watched this movie first in the 1990s ... still watching this movie and listening to its music as it touches the soul in so many ways ... was reminded of this movie during my visit to Australia and New Zealand on seeing the natives there ... living disenfranchised and shunned to the fringes in society .... really such movies as historical documents that should be a recommended watch in high schools everywhere ...
