Do you suggest doing pilot holes before screwing them in or does it really matter?
For trim screws, shouldn’t matter
So do the trim screws need to go through all sets of shims or not? I am guessing yes.

the real problem is when the frame is faced to the drywall and the door shuts but hits the top of bottom first.
