You know, it's quite ironic that rights before this video, I got an ad of one of those plugins Kenny mentioned, you know the type, "just turn on this plugin, tweak a couple of knobs and you get a perfect sound". I'm so glad that we got such tutorials from the Reaper crew. Thanks a lot Kenny, the tutorial is great as usual. Furthermore, this time you really motivated me to dive even further into the JS plugins instead of buying the new ones. Personally for me such plugins are a proof that investing in the Reaper license and learning Reaper in general was the right move in the first place. Stash? There's already a category FX chains, granted not all of them consist of JS and native plugins but judging by what i downloaded the absolute majority do, if they don't that's usually mentioned in the upload description the only problem with Stash is that it's not very browsing friendly

Probability settings for avocado might save you from manually turning off or on that particular plugin, can get nice little random glitches. Cool chain!

Do others use software like ProTools or something exorbitantly expensive for the way it processes audio i.e. 'clarity' etc, or is it just down to familiarity with the software and the features it contains? Listening to the stuff on your channel I'd say it's all just because they're used to it or like the workflow etc., but I'd like your opinion.
Hey Kenny, I use Transient driven auto-pan. Some may need a tutorial but It's great for side chain compressed reverb tails creating a huge stereo field!

Hey Kenny, love your videos! To be honest I have no clue what expensive plugin you are referencing and was just watching the video for fun. In any of your videos I learn something new - an I'm a reaper user since more than 10 years. For this one - I had really no idea what the goal is. But it really sounds cool for doing cinematic stuff and creating some tension sound track. Anyhow - I didn't use most of these free plugins - but really will dig deeper. Kenny I have been turned on to your videos for a couple of weeks now as I wondered aloud what could I do with Reaper. What can’t it do! I’m in w Reaper my next payday ! And dude thanks 1000x because I’m like so many people, trying to get there without a ton of cash. I get your message completely that you can do all kinds of stuff that people charge for (Canned sound packs) with total personalization
I understand your frustration, but I think some people want the workflow of having it all in a single interface. At the end of the day I guess people who want to put in the work and have more control will be able to do so, for free. Others just want to click and go.
Searching for VST plugins in my FX Browser: JS ........ No VST ....... keep searching...... no VST...... buy lots of expressive VST. Time to use those VST: Ho wow. Just discovered that reaper's own (even though not attractive to the eyes) are light weight on resources and just as effective. Reaeq, reacomp.... Now I can't even remember some of the "money wasting VST I bought" somewhere in the pile catching dust! Thanks Kenny!
It is totally amazing how much freedom Reaper gives us, but to control it we need our own pocket Kenny with us all the time, which is not always an option. But I still thank you for teaching us how to make more while spending less.

I think the point was comparing it to a plugin like Output's Arcade that is used to manipulate loops of melodies and things of that nature.
