With regard to subscription and licensing, if you end your subscription you can no longer use the fonts, graphics, or designs you have made with them to create new products. However, any products you have published while your subscription was active may continue to be sold. I ran across that in their license info when researching the differences between the full and basic pod provisions.
This is correct! I did not mention this in the video but thank you so kindly for answering this and mentioning to people who are should know this as well. So it's a really great deal if you want to start today (or whenever you're ready) to do the $1 trial and get those first designs out there.
@@itsheatherstudio Exactly! Especially if we have time to crank out designs so we can kick start our shops. This way if you can't afford the expense of the sub on top of other expenses, you have enough product up that you should hopefully be able to resub in a month or two. With all that is up there and all that is added daily, even the regular sub is a great value to keep ongoing! By the way, I loved your example creating a design using the PNG letters. I had lots of ideas while watching that I'm going to be working on while I wait for my account to be unsuspended (This is Shawn from the FB group btw lol)... This was the type of video I needed back when I was on CafePress a couple decades back as a photographer that couldn't draw. lol Of course as I stated on the FB group, we didn't have the same type/quality of resources online back then that are here for us today. It's just a matter of finding them!! Thank goodness for folks like you who are willing to share. You've quickly become one of my fave influencers to watch! Keep up the awesome work! :)
Thanks so much for the Tidy Up tip! I've been using Canva for a couple of years now and never realized it was there. LOL. I love your videos! Thanks so much!
I love how versatile Canva is, but some of the fonts have bad kerning between some of the letter pairs. To change the default spacing is a pain in Canva. The only way I have been able to do this is by entering the offending letter pairs as individual characters rather than as a part of a whole name or sentence. In this way you can nudge the individual letters slightly with the arrow keys when you have the letter selected.
I prefer to buy items using single license rather than $1 trial. Single license don’t have expiration date and you can use them forever unlike $1 trial.
Is there a website to check to see which phrases are trademarked? And for example the teacher life design you had wouldn’t be trade marked correct? Or will we have to go and double check the phrases in the designs on the website?
Hi glad I came across your videos have learned a lot! But I have just a question how can I create a personalized shirt? I have a few a ideas for shirts but can’t seem to figure it out
You are awesome! Thank you. Definitely gonna try this. I see that (My 1st Easter, and He is Risen) is listed as trademarked but I see it on a lot of templates and shirts. Can we still use common holiday traditional phrases?
I would steer clear from the trademarked items! People may post this frequently but these people can get into big trouble or taken down from Etsy. My best advice is to stay away from trademarks like the plague haha!
Make sure you look at what the trademark details are. Heather mentioned Wifey in a different video was trademark and in fact it wasn't because it didn't say specifically to clothing. A lot of trademarks I found are protecting the word or phrase from commercial products you'd find on shelves at target.
Can you take these completed design elements and just pop them on a t-shirt to sell? Per the Creativ Fabrica license we can, but does that violate the Etsy rules for being "hand-made"? Reading through the Etsy docs, it sounds like even if you have the POD license from Fabrica, you still need to modify any design to meet the Etsy selling rules?
A little confused. If you find a font or graphic on CreativeFabrica but it’s not listed under the “POD” tab, can it be used for POD if it comes with a commercial license? When you read the descriptions it sounds like you can but I just want to be sure.
What a great video! I’m gonna go ahead and do the trial. Would you be willing to make a video of how you integrate print on demand through Etsy? How you integrate printify or printful so that when people order the order gets processed automatically?
Thanks Heather - thing I need most is tips on designs and which keywords to attack… are the Canva graphics ok to use for commercial purposes do you know..?
Hello, thank you for this helpful info. I would please like to know the best Dimensions for designing T Shirts and Sweatshirts. I noticed you used 5000 x 5000 but in other videos, you use 2000 x 2000. Which do you reckon is the best dimensions. Thank you
When you get the $1 trial the first month you get for $1 so if you want to try it for a month, get the free templates or graphics then after that it’s $19 a month if you decide to continue using Creative Fabrica😊

Thanks Shawn and Heather, I was wondering about this. So thankful for this information.
Love Creative Fabrica! I find so many great POD patterns from some really great artists.

I love Creative Fabrica. It is also well worth the $19 monthly subscription, as well.

This is gold! Thank you so much.
I've used the for a while, great value for money.
Love it!!! Do you have a video on how to setup an etsy store with POD?
I prefer to buy items using single license rather than $1 trial. Single license don’t have expiration date and you can use them forever unlike $1 trial.
Where do you buy it?
@@redigloo1277 Just check out the items that you want and pay full price instead of $1 subscription plan.
Wow, thanks so much! I had no idea they had a section for POD. 😊
Heather I’m so glad I found your channel!! You are helping me so much! Thank you!😘

Can you do a video about how to do custom tshirts on print on demand ?

@@blakeervin9587 are you sure about that? I looked up Wifey too and one of the trademarks specifies t-shirts and sweatshirts
WAY cool ideas and links. Thank you. Enjoy your Day!

Where did you find the blank t shirt image on canva?

Hello dear
Please, I want you to know how much are the monthly Etsy commissions with the new Etsy update
In one of your words when your mentioning fonts while working on Canva you mention creative market. I think you meant creative fabrica.
I did mean Creative Fabrica! I will have to rewatch and see where this was, so sorry about that!
Those that website's Bundles can be downloaded free, with $1 trial and/or regular monthly subscription?
When you get the $1 trial the first month you get for $1 so if you want to try it for a month, get the free templates or graphics then after that it’s $19 a month if you decide to continue using Creative Fabrica😊
@@itsheatherstudio Thanks!
How many mockups photos do you do for each listing you put on Etsy?
I found that part very time consuming.
Thanks for the video.
I do about 3 to 5 mockups in Etsy per design. More mockups has led to higher conversion rates in my opinion! :)
Thank you
It looks like the price is now $29 a month.
I just noticed the teacher sulimation bundle says "My class is full OFF sweet hearts," instead of OF. Might save somebody a printing error. :)
So after the $1 trial will it be $19 a month?
Yes it's $19 a month following the trial!
too long for mentioning the creative fabrica for advertising 😅
