Hi heather great videos could you explain how you get your design onto the mockup in Canva when I do it it takes over the whole image. I resized the mockup to 2000x2000. Keep up the great videos
I find it annoying that Etsy INSISTS you provide almost perfect and immediate customer service, even if you are on vacation, but THEIR customer service is terrible! WEEKS to get a reply?? And why haven't they fixed the bugs that allow the algorithm to shut down new stores for using POD merchants that Etsy integrates with?! The hypocrisy is maddening.
I think the customer service is from Asia. This is why I created my own shop and run ads. In Etsy, we have a lot of competitors, and customers sometimes got diverted to look at other brands. ❤

So I end up copying to clipboard, then pasting it into a new design file in GIMP where I can save it as a PNG with transparency. very redundant and a lot of extra work. What am I missing?

I don't share my actual store due to people stealing my designs. I've had stores copy EVERY listing and design and I've had legal issues with other stores so for this reason I do not share it anymore. I used to share to help other but unfortunately a few bad stores copying ruined the share and tell for everyone haha!

Aren’t you supposed to research the keywords for your title first, because, even if a best seller used some of those keywords for their title, the keywords might not actually be high ranking and they could’ve got traffic from social media?
What is the difference between using bought mockups and placeit mockups? I bought one mockup put realized that even in photoshop creating that natural feeling that Placeit has, was impossible
So on printify they show you exact area they can print and placement for different sizes. Also the aspect ratio and dimensions available are fixed.. Is there a way instead of eyeballing to have a bunch of designs in proper printify size and mark somehow mockups for exact alighnment needed? That would be a lot quicker I think than eyeballing. Also if there was a frame for the t-shirt itself then I could even write a program to position a lot of designs within that frame properly. The more automation the better, right? Do you know of anything like this?

I would contact Etsy or Printify and see what is needed to be a seller in your country. It sounds like an integration issue but I do not work for either companies so I cannot give further information, again, I would seek out help from the companies directly.
When I click the image for the Mock-up, it completely becomes the new image, removing the mock-up. I’m using the integrated Canva mock-ups mostly, for now 😊. Thank you x

If you offer free shipping, you would be the one paying for free shipping. So in your profit you would factor in the shipping as an expense, hopefully this helps! :)

I like to think that a mockup is kinda like a digital mannequin. In this case, it is just a way to show what your product would look like on a person or shirt. Or in some cases, just shows the product on display. Some sellers prefer to use a digital mock instead of posing the items they are selling and taking photographs themselves.

Hi Heather, i stumbled upon your channel the other day and have binge-watched all of your videos! So I’ve heard different opinions on the title wording such as “don’t keyword stuff” “don’t repeat words, make it a long run on sentence” “Don’t use apostrophes or hyphens”. Ugh. I spent a day rewording some of my titles. Sometimes I can’t think of 140 characters or 13 long tail keywords. 🤣
Hi Konita, You can register Printify before or after Etsy. Sometimes you will need to upload a 'fake' listing as digital to start on Etsy as your first product. I currently do not have a video but I'm sure it's on TH-cam somewhere else and then if you back track to this video it will make more sense! :) Heather

Does anyone on here know how to help to list a digital mockup for a t shirt. I want to sell t shirt mockups and I am stuck on the Etsy page, it keeps asking me to enter shipping info but this is a digital download. It won't be shipped. Also it wants me to list it in a digital category, but when I try, the categories are for prints. THis is so confusing to me.
I don't think this is answered in the video: when you get to the style section in the etsy listing, you have choices of athletic, boho, etc. If I'm listing a sweatshirt (which is athletic) with a boho design, would I go by the type of clothing or by the design?

Mockup placement is one of the hardest things for me. I wish there was a more analytical way to accurately place it rather than eyeballing it.

Does anyone on here know how to help to list a digital mockup for a t shirt. I want to sell t shirt mockups and I am stuck on the Etsy page, it keeps asking me to enter shipping info but this is a digital download. It won't be shipped. Also it wants me to list it in a digital category, but when I try, the categories are for prints. THis is so confusing to me.
Can you make your own mockups on Canva?
I don't think this is answered in the video: when you get to the style section in the etsy listing, you have choices of athletic, boho, etc. If I'm listing a sweatshirt (which is athletic) with a boho design, would I go by the type of clothing or by the design?
