I’ve been watching Etsy how to videos for about 1 year now and this video is the first time I hear and shown how to look up copyright stuff. Your videos are packed with solid information. Thank you! I will be downloading your docs and have subscribed with notification!
This is such a helpful video! The way you break down the niches makes it so much easier to target the right audience. Definitely inspired me to rethink my approach to selling on Etsy!
I've have been watching Etsy's how to videos for about 1 years now and this video is the first time I hear and shown how to look up copy right stuff your videos are packed with solid information. Thank i will be down loading your doc and have subscribe with notifications.
I am watching 6 months and it is so relevant thank you so much you just don't have an idea how your videos are so helpful . You are a Star thanks again
Just want to say thank you so so so much for making these videos! I found you on tiktok and your are honestly 1 of a couple people who actually explain how to do POD. I really appreciate that! I have a full time etsy shop, but it sell products out of my house and hate mailing stuff everyday. I'm excited to try your 30 day plan and get my POD going!! Keep the videos coming please ! Thanks again :)
One of your videos was recommended to me on my TH-cam homepage yesterday and I AM SO THANKFUL!!! Thank you so much for being an amazing resource as I gather my information on starting a POD Etsy store! Joined the FB Group/ email signup list, too! I’m hoping to launch an Etsy store next month :)
Hi Heather. Thank you for your videos. I am newly divorced no job and want to start the print on demand and jewelry business. I was so depressed but you are giving me so much faith. I have watch so many videos on this topic. You are my fav. Kind Regards, Jen
Aww thank you so kindly for commenting as I made this channel to hopefully help people who are looking for an online business! Take care and I'm sure you'll find a way to make profits online as I did!
How do you do Print on demand? They place an order for a particular design, once they order t-shirts, you go on a site that allows you to design shirts, you design, order, have them sent to your house, and then you send them to your customers?
Fun video!! Would you do (or have you done) a video about starting your etsy shop? Like how you prepped, set up and launched it? I have been so encouraged by your videos as a new estsy business owner! Thanks
I've personally just posted as I go since the very beginning, no prep or launch used, and I suggest it because time is another factor in store growth so the sooner you post the faster the growth in my opinion. If something doesn't work then later on you can delete. I've done the same with Shopify as well and have had sales within the first week on Shopify.
Thank you for literally giving such valuable information. I love your personality and really appreciate your content!!! It's just such a breath of fresh air. Your humor is so me lol
Hi Heather ! great video as usual. one QUESTION : can you explain how sell designed t shirts ? have you a supplier for t shirts ? do you buy a stock at your home ?
Thank you so much for this amazing video- so many useful tips and love how you are so generous and genuine :) Just a quick question, when you sell bulk for bachelorette parties, etc do customers simply add items to cart one by one or is there some other way to sell bulk? Thank you!! 💛💛💛
Hey thanks for the USPTO tip. I am starting a craft niche so I’m not too concerned but I am jotting down notes to avoid legal issues. This was a great video!
Hello! I wanted to ask about the trademark site. It seems like a lot of words are trademarked but I find a lot of shirts and sweatshirts with these words on Etsy. How do you know what it actually trademarked? Or what you can get in trouble for?
Heather would you do a video how to design a blanket. I know how to design one but every time I upload it to Prinitfy it shows the file is over the 50MB - its too big. I make it the exact pixel Printify suggests and I've even lowered the DPI from 300 to 96 - still to big. What am I doing wrong?? I would love to see how you do it! Thanks!! I love your channel - I think I binge watch you over and over everyday, lol.
Great info but the only thing I disagree with is that Etsy actually goes after copyrighted material. Etsy is overrun with this and about 90% is sellers stealing trademarked things which is infuriating and really wish they would actually do something about it. How much Disney, NFL, ect is on there now....
Hi Heather.. Have you any idea of the shipping time of Monster Digital to ship from US to the rest of the world like the UK for example? Is it 10 to 30 business days? Tks
Hey, Heather, or anyone, I need some help. I love your videos but I cannot apply any of them because I am stuck with my store. I am trying to connect my Printful account to my Etsy store to post the products I've created there, BUT because I don't have any listings up yet on my Etsy and so I guess that means my store isn't finished being created/isn't active. Therefore Printful cannot find my shop to set it up, and I can't even start this type of business model you teach on. Maybe I cannot find the right video where you address this hang-up, but I would love some help, please. The whole purpose of me doing print on demand is to have my products through the POD company, not 10 of my own products/inventory to then even be able to get into the POD. I guess I'm wondering if this is something that first requires you to have a bunch of products yourself to even have an active store to connect to a POD? Help from anyone appreciated, feeling like maybe this was all too good to be true.
I just found your videos. TH-cam recommended it. :) Not sure if you have a video about this already but is it possible for you to do a video on why you chose to do print on demand instead of pressing/creating your own shirts at home? I have thought about jumping into the tshirts, etc... niche but I have heard mix opinions regarding print on demand and buying tshirt blanks and pressing at home. I'd love to hear your thoughts on why you went with print on demand.
I LOVE this idea and will add it to my suggested ideas here. I personally think POD is more scalable and for me I worked full-time along with my Etsy so it would have been near impossible. I like POD because it's less overhead and relatively stress free. :)
Hi Heather, I find your videos really educational and was just wondering what the name of your Etsy shop is? I’ve found the link to your website and IG, but the only Etsy shop I could find with a similar name has no sales which I’m guessing is some random person or a copycat. Sorry in advance if your shop name is listed somewhere super obvious that I missed! 😳😅
New sub! Thanks for the great content! Do you find going broad “affects any algorithms”? Or is it simply a matter of focusing on the description for SEO?? Thanks again!
Another great video girl!! I’ve been actually toying with the idea of baby onesies I had a shop once with baby onesie announcements and I sold a ton but I just can’t keep up with making them on my own - again no idea how to price to make a profit though for onesies haha 😆
Seeet Jesus!!! Someone finally says it out loud-you don’t need to niche your Etsy shop if it doesn’t make sense. Some people have 5 shops and they started last month! And ask why they have no sales😔🙃
Please, can someone tell me how do you make sure that the design on the printify t-shirt is positioned in the same place as the design on the Etsy mockup t-shirt. It drives me nuts. Please give tips to make the process faster. Thank you
Thanks for starting this channel! I sell clothing and merch and am learning from your videos. I’m currently deflated cos I’ve not sold 1 Valentines t shirt… so I need some inspiration Also, I think I was your 500th sub 🤙
Just curious, is it ok to have multiple niches in one store? For instance, I sell things regarding to being Greek, and also things pertaining to being a nurse. Would you make two separate Etsy stores? Also, I’m not sure if it’s confusing on my IG page to have these two very different niches. Thanks!! So excited to go further with this
I am confused about what exactly print on demand is. Are you just selling the design and then your customer has apparel made on their own, or are you actually making the apparel yourself?
Thank youuuu.. this was very very good info. Just about every damn word is trademarked🤬 Like can we even speak anymore?! Basically the only thing that is not trademarked is sounds LMAO. So we can probably create things that has sounds on it like sneezing and coughing because every other thing is trademark, we can’t even speak anymore. Welcome to America.😢
What is the link for your Etsy store? I am intrigued and my wife and I want to do this but not seeing your Etsy store link in any of your links is honestly a bit of a red flag.
I do not share my store as I've had too many stores copy my designs. Most POD TH-camrs do not share due to copycat stores stealing IP. I used to share my store but found out quickly it was a big mistake. I've filed over 20+ DMCA claims and this is my full-time income.
I'm not understanding how you cant use a simple word like wifey??? There's thousands of people who've used it on etsy? Do I need to trademark the word ?
I noticed you removed the links to your 30 Day Listing Challenge and Weekly Posting Planner. I found the link to the first in another of your videos. Do you still offer the Weekly Posting Planner pdf for free?
I’ve been watching Etsy how to videos for about 1 year now and this video is the first time I hear and shown how to look up copyright stuff. Your videos are packed with solid information. Thank you! I will be downloading your docs and have subscribed with notification!
I know right!! I've noticed no one talks about copyright, it's so strange haha. Thank you so much for the kind words!
This is such a helpful video! The way you break down the niches makes it so much easier to target the right audience. Definitely inspired me to rethink my approach to selling on Etsy!

Great channel. You recommend a lot of bulking buying ideas. Would you make a video on how to upload listings for multiple items?
Thank you.
Fantastic info. Loved the video and your smile! Great stuff, keep it up!

where do you get your pdf calendar i don't see it on your heatherstudio page to download

Love all of this advice! Can we use names of states? Names of cities? It feels tricky trademark wise
Any recommendations on finding maturity POD shirts? I like the idea of pregnancy niche, but don’t think I’ve come across maturity clothing. Thanks!
Awesome video! Thank you so much for sharing this! ❤
Hi Heather.. Have you any idea of the shipping time of Monster Digital to ship from US to the rest of the world like the UK for example? Is it 10 to 30 business days?

This advice is perfection! Thank you
I would love to visit your etsy shop!

You're a true POD friend for watching until the end haha!! Thank you for watching

Can wifey be used if it's printed and made by me.?
What is the link to your store?
Thanks for the great information! New sub here!
New sub!
Thanks for the great content!
Do you find going broad “affects any algorithms”?
Or is it simply a matter of focusing on the description for SEO??
Thanks again!
Nice hairstyle 💇♀️
Another great video girl!! I’ve been actually toying with the idea of baby onesies I had a shop once with baby onesie announcements and I sold a ton but I just can’t keep up with making them on my own - again no idea how to price to make a profit though for onesies haha 😆
Haha yes understandable! POD onesies are not at good pricing. Blanket are definitely where it's at for profit margin! :)
Do you use one store for all niches or would you recommend splitting out niches into different stores?
she says it in the video, you have to watch it lol..
Seeet Jesus!!! Someone finally says it out loud-you don’t need to niche your Etsy shop if it doesn’t make sense. Some people have 5 shops and they started last month! And ask why they have no sales😔🙃
I’m glad I found you

Thanks for starting this channel! I sell clothing and merch and am learning from your videos. I’m currently deflated cos I’ve not sold 1 Valentines t shirt… so I need some inspiration
Also, I think I was your 500th sub 🤙
Yay!! Thank you so much for being my 500th sub
Love your content! Can we get in touch regarding a partnership proposal for an Etsy tool?
Hi Heather! Does copyright/USPTO apply if I'm only selling in Canada, for example? And not to US?
It applies in every country for Etsy as far as I know due to Etsy is based in the United States so they have to be compliant with US Laws.
Just curious, is it ok to have multiple niches in one store? For instance, I sell things regarding to being Greek, and also things pertaining to being a nurse. Would you make two separate Etsy stores? Also, I’m not sure if it’s confusing on my IG page to have these two very different niches. Thanks!! So excited to go further with this
What about Disney? I see Disney made stuff all over Etsy. Please help me understand this
What's the name of your Etsy Store?
As soon as you pronounced niche correctly I hit subscribe 🤣
I am confused about what exactly print on demand is. Are you just selling the design and then your customer has apparel made on their own, or are you actually making the apparel yourself?
I have the same question
You upload the design and pick a shirt supplier. The supplier fulfills the order after you pay the base shirt price.
It was originally the Boy Scout sign.
Welcome to America.😢
which is your store on etsy...... the one I see with your name has two sales 🤦♀❓
Trademarking the word “wifey” is smart but also wild
You're awesome!
What is the link for your Etsy store? I am intrigued and my wife and I want to do this but not seeing your Etsy store link in any of your links is honestly a bit of a red flag.

Way too many selling these items on Etsy. Good luck to all of you who start selling!
Lol the sign is you were a guide or brownie ?
Instead of wifey could a wifey image be used instead?
sounds like neesh
What if you've bought. Design with wifey in it?
great video, amazing informations, and a cute woman
niche.
Yeah great, advise flooding the market with the Niche T-shirts...
Mmmm McDonald's is a trademark too, BUT it's also a last name. There are limits to trademark control.
You are beautiful!!
Very beautiful you are.😘😘😘😘
you are so sweet!
Wtf why does someone own the word “wifey”
You're so cute and beautiful girl
The first pronunciation is nitch. Neesh is too Frenchified and frifru sounding. It's like dragging your fingernails over a blackboard.
Is there any way for me to contact you privately to ask you a specific question about etsy pricing?
nitch - American pronunciation of niche....
Hi Honey. Can I write to you in whatsapp?
I noticed you removed the links to your 30 Day Listing Challenge and Weekly Posting Planner. I found the link to the first in another of your videos. Do you still offer the Weekly Posting Planner pdf for free?
