I do envy your freedoms…in my 40’s with little ones, we homeschool so I have zero free time to myself. I haven’t had a hair cut in over a year and my husband works crazy hours leaving the majority of responsibilities on my plate. I’m not complaining, just looking forward to the season in my life when I can truly take care of myself. Your home is beautiful and you are beautiful💕

Your weight loss journey is so inspiring. I just recently found out I have diabetes. I put on 30+ lbs since i gave birth to my only son 3.5 yrs ago. Then before that i had gained 15 lbs while going to nursing school. I have not been successful at any diet. We have been wanting another baby but my weight, and now diabetes, i have a hard time conceiving. I am starting my journey to a healthy lifestyle... Self-care. Like you, my inspiration is my son. I want to be a mom that can keep up with his energy and not feel tired easily. I am 180 lbs right now and 5'2".... Im glad I ran into you vlog!

I just found you today. I lost my son last year due to complications of cystic fibrosis and he had a lung and liver transplant in 2020 he survived 2 years and 8 months after surgery. I gained 25 pounds since his passing. Your videos have made my heart happy. Thank you. ❤

I love this video so much! I have struggled with weight for several years, and have tried several weight loss plans. I seem to stick to them about a month, then go off the deep end. Lol. For some reason, seeing your transformation, and what you are doing, has inspired me more than anything or anyone else. You are such a blessing to me. I made the salmon and salad for dinner tonight, and my husband loved it. It was delicious! Looking forward to more videos like this. Oh, and the Christmas decorating too! Continued good health to you....I would actually say most to all people are actually magnesium deficient.
My son is a personal trainer and he said on your strength training days you should do a 5 minute warm up then your strength training followed by your cardio workout...I wish I could tell you the exact reasoning something with muscle fatigue or something like that. I encourage you to do your own research. Keep up the good work.

You look so beautiful, Amy, but you always did! I've also lost some serious weight, about 30 lbs. I am 5'1 and weigh about 120 lbs., not bad for a younger senior. I'll never be rail thin, because I'm not built that way, but I am content with how I look and feel now. The Lord has really helped me by guiding my weight loss journey. Good proteins, whole foods, with a treat now and then. I truly appreciate how you incorporate your faith into many of your videos. Praise God! Be blessed, Amy!💗

Amy, I love that you start your day with God 1st. I love the Bible app it helps me a lot. I gave up wearing makeup years ago when I became a caregiver. I have gone back to using lotion again to keep my skin from drying out. But I do this more at night.
I struggle with keeping hydrated. Thank you for sharing about the peanut butter powder. I've been looking at getting some, so your comment has helped me decide to give it a try. There's nothing like a peanut butter and banana smoothie, I do one every morning. It keeps me full for the day. Then I'll eat something for dinner, not always a balanced meal. I'm having to relearn how to cook for one person. I miss my husband and cooking for him eating has become a big struggle for me now. I've lost about 35 to 40 lbs in 10 months, the most of that being in the last 3 months.
I am walking a little more but doing a lot of yard work as winter approaches. Im learning how to use the air-fryer,it was something my husband used, not me.

You’re an inspiration!!! A tip on your creamis….after you’ve done what you show in your video, open the container up, make a little hole in the center add about a tablespoon of milk, put back in the machine, hit “respin” on the ninja machine. Much creamier!!! Something to try if you’d like to ☀️☀️☀️

I found your channel a few weeks ago and you have been inspiring me in my weight loss journey. I am starting at almost the same weight you were only much older lol.. Once I started watching a few videos I really felt like you looked familiar. Then I found out you lived in Ohio, like me, and then I heard you mention Dayton which is only about an hour away from me. Thank you for making God a priority for your day. I couldn't and wouldn't want to live a day without my devotional time. I do think 5 minutes with God won't get us very far with our relationship with Him. Who wants a 5 minute relationship with anyone? Hi Amy! I’m new here! I just found you randomly on TH-cam this week and I’m so glad I did! I appreciate your story! It encourages me a lot! I have been on a somewhat similar weight loss journey I gained a lot of weight having children and have struggled to get it off! Sticking to a consistent calorie deficit is my biggest challenge. I would love learn more about your journey….your learning, victories, challenges, frustrations, etc! Did you calorie count? Weigh food, etc?

Amy, thanks for the video. You're giving others lots of encouragement. Is this what you would call a high protein/low calorie diet? I'm in my early 60's and when I was your age it was pretty much a low calorie or low fat diet. Now there are so many options. Is there a specific diet you've followed or have you just done what you've decided to do all along?

This was such a helpful video. I have a couple of questions. Have you found that your grocery bill has increased with your new healthier eating habits? Also, have your eating habits also transferred to the others in the house, or do you ever make a separate meal for yourself? If the family is eating similar foods, have you noticed a difference in the kids' and your hubby's health as well? On another note, I do notice that if I miss morning prayers and devotions, I do feel more irritable and chaotic through the day. Have you ever tried Bible in a Year podcast from Ascension Press? I'm enjoying that one. Blessings to you and yours! I do hope you eventually have homestead inspirations with your new home. Raising and growing your own food may be the next step in your health journey. Oh, and I hope I can be motivated to make healthy habits after delivery of baby, I'm nervous about cutting calories in pregnancy or early postpartum. This is number 13 for us, so I know all about Post baby/ies weight gain.
I’ve actually found that my grocery/food budget has gone down! Cutting out a lot of the processed foods / million ingredient casseroles, fast food, etc. from my previous way of eating has saved me! Simplicity is key. 🙂
My family is also eating much healthier. I try to keep the meals the same, but If I need to, I’ll bulk up their meal by adding rice, pasta, bread, etc. as a side for them. It has worked wonderfully 🙂

I tried 3/12/30 on the treadmill.
Omg!
It killed me. My heart rate spiked in minutes. My brain felt like swelling. I reduced the incline and speed. I stopped at 20 minutes.
I realized quickly im 41yra old 😂
So i can not do 3/12/30.
I had migraines for a week after that.
So im much better. I couldn’t even do my daily walks. I had to lay down almost all day.
So i wont be doing that again.
I would rather walk outside.
Or walk slow on my treadmill.

I love this video! Ever since your weight loss video being conscious about what I’m doing has been at my forefront when I don’t want to do anything I think if you and your progress.
