Very nice looking game - I am a fan of 6mm anyhow. Never tried FFT3 though - we used to play PANZER in this scale, which is a board game but is easily playable with miniatures as well. Thanks for showing mate. Cheers Fedja
Very nice. When I saw this pop up and saw 6mm, I thought it was your Italian theater...nope. Russia 1943...awesome. I have always found Russian troops have a hard time vs German troops. I tried it with both armies being Average, that was fun.
very very nice especially when i actually just picked up a copy of FFOT3. now may i know the scenarios that was featured in the video and the OOBs of both sides? thanks! looking forward to more ww2 6mm battle report videos!
The amount of vehicles on the table is something I like too see whilst gaming 6mm. However I've never found rules that I enjoy except spearhead which has a few downfalls. I don't really know much about Fistful TOWs but the fact your fielding masses is a rule set that I'd might enjoy. Not sure if you have used spearhead but if you have would you consider F.TOWs better ?
@@tabletop.will.phillips correct. It can be a little tricky. Helps if you stop and start the videos so they are smaller. Easier if you do a voice over so you don't have sync sound.
@@Aaronfromprojectwargaming Thank you! I can find easily 1:144 land and air units but impossible for sea units. Was hoping to find a scale to make an all army wargame. It seems I have to make the navy from scratch though I would have preferred 1:350 since it's more manageable though air and land units are missing there. Easier to make ships than the later.
@@Aaronfromprojectwargaming great!I am new in 6mm,I played 1/72 before, that wargame has the rule of turret turn and front armor ,so I want to know whether this is same in 6mm.hh,your tanks is from GHQ?
Maybe the russian side used poor strategy and feel both groups positioned them selves for a slug fest decided in first round. My opinion. Great game friends. New to this
Just discovered PW through Little Wars. Awesome battle report!
Looked like a great game. Thanks for sharing.
Great to see some 6mm on YT. Nowhere near enough WW2 at this scale out there. Nice bite size video too. Cheers!
Agreed

Big fan of Fistful of TOWS 3 and play the rules here in Northern Virginia
Which hobby shop in NoVA does FFT3?
I just buy the samurai pack. I was interested in the 2mm troops but... Samurais men.
Thanks, they are really beautiful
Great game with some great guys. Thanks goes out to the GM..
Good looking game, great AAR.

Unfortunately not since I didn't write anything down. Just played with what had. Sorry.
Great video! Love FFoT and GHQ Micro Armor

I have spearhead but never played it so unfortunately I can not compare them.
Blitzkrieg commander is very good.
Great board and report. Thanks!
Any chance you lads will be starting a batrep Patreon any time soon? Would be fab to watch these in full
No plans to do a patreon.
Very cool. What looks like green roads confused me.
Did you play just the free introductory rules or did you modify the full rules to make them simpler?
Mostly the free rules set. I have the rule book and it's worth it for the unit and vehicle data but for ww2 I find the simple rules work just fine.
This may have been asked but was this battle at 1:1 scale or the usual 1:5 scale? Just wondering for organizational purposes. Thanks!
The larger scale but pretty loose with that.
Good battle report. Unique way of showing it. With you talking and game chatter reduced GREAT
I like the multi camera setup. How'd you do that?
One is my phone. The other is a web camera mounted to the wall run to my computer. Requires more editing but it can add a bit to the overall video.
@@Aaronfromprojectwargaming So it's a matter of using one audio file or another and then syncing the two video files together as best you can?

Great wargame! To what scale does 6mm correspond? (1:144? 1:350).
1:300

How big is the table and the base size for infantry?
Table was 4x6 plus. Infantry bases on 3/4 round.
That's a great looking battle mat. COuld you tell me who the manufacturer is, please?

No idea. Sorry

In the description.

How long did the game last?
I think we played about 3 hours. Most of us new the rules already
@@Aaronfromprojectwargaming So you packed 3 hours of game into an 11 minute video? Amazing.
bit of an ahistoric outcome. Getting into a close-in fight with Russian armour should have badly mauled the Germans, but instead they triumphed.
True bit the germans ganged up on a couple t34 so they definitely had the advantage in that fight.
