Hi Emmy and Paul! That was good info for anyone thinking of retiring early or even later. Health insurance is out of this world. I do have insurance and luckily my doctors are on their list. Co pays are the killer though and God forbid have to ever go into the hospital the copay would make me sicker than whatever would put me in the hospital! You are a very compatible couple and can tell you are also best friends. I love all your videos. Hugs from Sis!

You guys are so fun to watch! Thank you for your transparency. My husband and I are in our early 60’s and are retired. The insurance has been a deal also learning to be together all the time has taken some getting used to. It it is wonderful to every day have freedom to enjoy life!

Our cousin has an old Coleman cooler 45 years old. Who needs a yeti. We bought good quality renaware brand griddle and pots and pans. I love them. 50 years later they look like new. They are stainless steel.

Hi Emmy & Paul, One more video with great content and practical information! My husband and I are making some changes in our budget and you are the inspiration for some of those changes, I used to do many of the things you talk about (menu planning and cooking from scratch) but had gotten out of the habit. When my kids left home I found myself getting slightly lazy with how but all these years later, I want to try harder and it's important to plan and not waste food. Here I go giving it another shot! I'm quite enthused! Thanks again for what you are doing!

What a lovely couple you two make! It was nice to see the "camera man" on the other side of the camera! I am loving all the wisdom you both have to share on the subject of early retirement! Insurance is our biggest concern. Just two weeks ago, I tripped over a safety gate [how ironic] and broke my finger. The bills are already rolling in, and I am in shock at how quickly unforeseen accidents can add up! Just a reminder how IMPORTANT it is to have insurance. Paul, would you ever play your music for us one day?

Just seeing this now! All that you say is true! Those unexpected expenses can throw you off track quickly. Preparing the best I can for heating oil expenses that are sure to be higher this year. I'll be using my wood burning stove more this year in the fall & winter months.
We have a wood burning stove as well! Just got an extra two cords of wood!
