don't forget to spend some of that time enjoying the simple things in life that sip of cool water when you awake a full moon beaming brightly on a couldless chill aired evening you know simple moments that can goosebump your skin by being so simple yet so profound
@Marcus-rg7bg well considering the entitled and condescending tone you seem to be writing this in. Our opinions often times tells us more about ourselves then they do about the world. I have gotten quite a bit of value out of this Chanel.
@maxproskurnia4895 how do you know my tone through writing? If u were in front of me and could hear and feel me, u might think different. I love these computers for that reason. Can really tell who is negative and who is positive. Often the accuser who is negative. Your perception is negative.
@@Marcus-rg7bg i wrote a comment that was positive initially, you clearly had nothing better to say then to criticize the creator of the video? Again to flip your point onto you. How do you know i am negative? How do you know anything about me? Is it not the same vehicle of perception that is limited in nature? You can tell a tone from a plethora of your experience, just like anything else. Everything is energy in one way or another. It is rather simple. When you start out by criticizing others and telling me who I should watch or not is plenty enough to tell me who is negative or positive. Rather silly and absurd. Though I hope you have a good day.
I can relate i was shot when i was 17 and my heart stop for 4 minutes. It was an unexplainable sense of pace. And it change my perspective view on life and the Eternal Now.
😂 facts sister, this is the type of message people need to hear in these times, inspiring. When I 1st comprehended my own mortality I was about 8 ish and it traumatised me, the thought that one day you wouldn't exist, you feel totally dejected and empty. It sucks that we're hit with diseases like the Ellers thing, I was wondering if that's hereditary. But I truly believe we choose our lives with our spirit guides before we are born, I think the harder your life is and the more shit you have to deal with, the more good karma you can accrue and the more your soul grows and evolves. Great points about making the most of it, even the average life expectancy is so short. The most common regrets of old people on their death beds is the things they didn't do, not the things they did... 🙌🏻
Looking hawt today Bailey ❤ i believe its the social construct of our society we live in. Slavery essentially still exists, it just changed from owning people to money owning people. Nothing moves around or works without money, so we always have to work to get it, some people are either skilled at getting lots of it or lucky, some are average, some are almost useless. Its those that end up at the bottom of society, and i guess we all strive to not hit that bottom. Much like cavemen strived to find food shelter and clothing to stay alive while not getting killed by a large predator mammal, we strive to keep making money so we dont die homeless out on the street in the cold in winter from hypothermia in our sleep. We dont get breaks from that lifestyle. It requires constant enslavement of our time. I think that's why on some level we all just exist rather than truly "live" in the way you portray in the video. On the plus side for me tho, i do love my job, i love the money i get cos soon im gonna be a homeowner (again), and for the past 2 years life has been hell. It would be so nice to get that shelter and safety back. Ive been grinding my ass off non stop and hopefully soon ill see the results. If i keep it all up, i guess i could be free more to do all that real living, but in this kind of society it takes a lot of grinding and money to make that reality happen. You cant "live" free if ur hungry and cold, and dont have purpose with work, and dont have a roof over ur head.
I was hit by a car a year ago,now im in another part of the country,in a Rehab on this journey since it happened, wanting to pack my bag, already done, and leaving on 3rd for a state, place I've never been too,but reaearched, it's cold there, and windy, which will also affect my health, needing drs tests, struggling to get any decent healthcare that's Reliable, yet listening to Stoicism Principles on Discipline, followed by the Song,Young Dolph,i want too get away( I know!) wanting a 2nd cup of Caffeine is my Friend, and listening to you Talk and cause i got hit by a car walking, and broke everything literally everything ,yet i can't get a dr to give me the time of day, professionally that I actually trust, feeling like just Go, Airport - 2000 in pocket - do it,just do it,Kratom not oxys, Turmeric not Meloxicam, screw these drs, and just Go,im telling you Bailey, it's like your talking directly to me at times,I started sobbing when you said something towards the end,But it makes me Feel So Good to know theres someone out there that Actually Gets It,and that im Not Crazy, well as Crazy,as i thought and thinks like me,usually more in the 1st 30 minutes awake then most do in an entire day
Death has hardly anything to do with your current enjoyment of music, movies, love, or any other thing that makes the human experience what it is, and this is especially so if you're healthy. When you enjoy a good piece of music, are you thinking about death? Generally...no. So how could it be that death gives life meaning when, even when you're enjoying yourself, you're not even worried about death? If you were to live forever you'd still enjoy life. You'd still find meaning, you'd still have fun with friends, or enjoy a good book or movie, which is where meaning comes from---the enjoyment of life. And the whole idea that death gives life meaning really is philosophy 100, and is quite a shallow idea and thing to say.
You're right. It is not death that gives life meaning. But you're only right on a technicality. When I faced my own mortality - the mundane came alive, and the frivolous crumbled. I was present in every moment. I appreciated the flowers, the sky, and the taste of water. I was intentional with my time, unlike ever before. For a time, I walked through life profoundly still but fiercely aware, as if in deep meditation. Death per se did not breathe life into me. But the awareness of it, and the shift in attention that came with it, sure did.
"Life only has meaning because once we die" *bold statement -> no urge to exemplify causal relationship whatsoever* (Yet clear usage of the word "because".)
Memento mori could also mean "remember death" giving it more of a comforting message of rebirth. As in - been there done that. So dont worry be happy. P.S. Hell yes! but also whats the difference between knowing you will die eventually of old age at 120 or in the next few days "maybe" "maybe not" uncertainty?
It truly is better to focus on figuring out life while you're still alive, as you will always have another chance at figuring out death. Same might not go the other way around.
Death of ivan illy h by Leo Tolstoy covers similar ideas, but with a power that will stun. It's a fairly long short story or a short novella. What does Bailey recommend to read or watch?
"I wish I could give people that feeling" ok jigsaw innocence is bliss, ignorance is annoying sure but let's not get dark I am just kidding a bit but when you said that I was creeped out slightly by the saw movie antagonist philosophy it expresses
Ok.. I agree, but are you going to take everyone out on your way out? Not to mention there is only so much you can push yourself into that mode.. I'm not saying you shouldn't reach for the Sky, but also recognize the ground under your feet every moment. How many bridges are you gonna burn simply to say. "its all about me' right now not about anything else? That works for a little bit, but even the dying have to realize they're not going to fulfill a whole bucket list. I have nightmare-disorder and bipolar, what is savoring these dark things to me? Hell has no bottom and I've seen the chasm. You're worried about life short lived, but how about one that never ends of regret; I assure you people go there... So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.
WE ARE HUNTERS NOT FARMERS WE SHOULD SURVIVE TOGETHER AS A FAMILY WE SHOULD LIVE IN A TRIBES WE SHOULD ALWAYS BE IN VERGE OF DYING WE SHOULD LIVE IN NATURE BUT WE ARE NOT DOING ALL OF THAT AND NOT DOING ALL OF THAT IS NOT NATURAL FOR US.
Bailey stop swearing and stop over analyzing everything. I hope you meet a nice guy even if its not me. I also wish you a long healthy life. You are really a sweet woman. I hope a nice man hugs you soon! She is beautiful like Claudia Schiffer and Bailey is German-American. Bailey move to Texas! Living among libtards is like playing in poison Ivy!

Its just about reminding yourself of what is important. Real purpose of philosophy.
Stop listening to these dumb beings. They know nothing.

You really look a lot like someone and i can't place the face.
You should follow and pray to God through Jesus Christ. Every day. Read the bible. You shouldn't say the F word either, it's not good energy for you.
