The recipe is more like cinnamon rolls. But without sugar and cinnamon. They taste good with nutella or any kind of jam. Or you can make it savory by using less sugar and adding garlic and herbs to the butter

@claudiamedica687 Hola Claudia, se ve muy buena la receta, pero cuando desgasifica la masa, arma dos bollos y luego enseguida los estira se nota la masa tensa que perdió elasticidad y se hace muy difícil estirarla. Luego esta editado y aparece la masa estirada. Las masas se estiran, todas, cualquiera que sea, luego de un periodo de reposo. Tal vez ya lo sabes, pero por las dudas. Le hice el comentario a la persona wue subio el video. Mucha suerte y se ve muy buena la receta . saludos!! 😊

It amuses me how these videos always cut from starting rolling out the dough to the dough being a perfect square, missing out all the struggle with shrinking back and the difficulty of getting a perfect square
Yes, this person's obviously a wiz at handling dough. If it was me it would be stuck to the surface like s**t to a blanket. The finished product looks a bit doughy inside.
There's a trick I have learned. Cross cut the ball halfway through and fold the center (where the cuts intersect) to the outside. That way you already start with a square and not a round ball. Makes things a lot easier ;-)

Whenyou again kneaded the dough balls, and try to roll it out, the dough was tense, shrinks, you need to rest it 20 minutes again, to let the dough become elastic again. I am sure you know it, but the video is confusing in that part. Above all else, Your recipe is perfect, 🤩 thank you!!

I wouldn't compare these to croissants, since it looks like it's a buttery bread roll, rather than a light flaky pastry. They seem more like crescent rolls. But they do look good.
Exactly. Why the comparison when croissants are all about their flakiness and lightness which makes the buttery flavor come though more. When they're good, and made with real butter, there is nothing like it. I even used to get good frozen ones in a Carrefour grocery store in Italy (to be baked). These, in the video, look dense and heavy......not that I wouldn't eat them anyway, mind you! I'd like to try this recipe some day, just for the heck of it. Maybe add garlic, as someone else suggested.

Hello Elsa, and thank you much for the awesome recipes. However, this one I put in the bread proofing oven temperature for 40 min, but the dough did not rise at all. I tried another 40 min. Normally, when using hefe (yeast) I always utilize warm milk, never cold. But I did not see you mentioning warmes milch in this one. Let's see!

If the dough does not stretch, cover with plastic wrap and let rest in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to make it easier to stretch.
If you let the dough rest a bit longer it will not resist rolling into a square. Ask for hints if necessary. 😊Negativity is not helpful.

Cutting it in 2 is just easier to handle. If not halved, once it's rolled out it would be so big and much more difficult to fold.

Hello Elsa, and thank you much for the awesome recipes. However, this one I put in the bread proofing oven temperature for 40 min, but the dough did not rise at all. I tried another 40 min. Normally, when using hefe (yeast) I always utilize warm milk, never cold. But I did not see you mentioning warmes milch in this one. Let's see!
