Thank you for bringing people like her. She not only navigated through her journey from (multiple countries) abroad to India but also contributing to the society in India. Great & inspiring story for sure 👍🏽
Fantastic guest Avinash, she is determined intelligent woman. I really feel for the kids they had to change countries and face suspension for no reason. Thanks waiting for next podcast 😊
I agree with points that we should not take low category jobs in foreign country. But at the same time, if we are going to Germany, we need to learn thier language. We have this mindset that English is the standard language. If a country loses its language, it loses its identity and culture. We do not provide Govt paperwork in German language if a German citizen is going to work in Bangalore. Its only in Kannada. Then why do we expect Germany to provide Govt paperwork in English.
Wow! Feel sorry for her, what she had to go through in Germany. She is right, why should we face other country's problems? No matter how much problems India has, it is our country, we would rather face our country's problems than another country's problems.
Great job Avinash with the interviews- however please avoid the distracting/ irritating photos in between - don’t know if these are autogenerated - I assume most people would rather watch faces of the people talking and their emotions
Thanks for the feedback. We want to have other images/videos to avoid seeing same faces for 30 min and to keep video a bot engaging. We will make a note about it and based on overall feedback, we will adapt. Thanks
I always think about indian judiciary..even though Indian government is doing very good things and definitely there is a lot of developments and process changes…as long as you dont have any issues life will be smooth in india but once if your property is occupied or renters issue or anything you have to deal with judiciary then you are screwed !!
Tenants are so much pain in the west, they have so much rights. They can live rent free upto a year and you just wait for your court dates. These issues are in every part of world.
Will kids who go abroad like UK particularly UK due to work committments of parents, will they get admission in indian Schools in cbse board, state board once they are back in India.
Getting in academics in Humanities is very difficult . Its pure academic line, so chances will be less. In engg , accounts line, IT jobs will be there.
This story is all about how kids can suffer due to over ambition of parents, we all know non science background struggles to get good job in india so no wonder she will struggle abroad and so she failed to get the signal on time when her guide said to move to india with indo German research project . A country can not be blamed for that plus not sure without proficiency in German how come someone moved there ,thinking they will get associate prof .position .I know a person moved in 2020 in Germany but before that person prepared himself and cleared B level while in india .Presenter also focused on negativity of Germany whereas he should be focused if u move abroad unprepared u are bound to suffer .
I really felt sorry hearing about the children struggling in their transitions from Australia to Germany and then India. Not only is there a major culture shock (I know since I have half German cousins) but the German language is one of the more difficult ones to grasp. Sadly, it didnt feel like the children's well being was held in the same regard as their doctorate degrees and careers were. Glad to hear they've managed to cope. One thing I can wholeheartedly agree with is the lack of critical thinking and blind adherence to rules, especially in the west. Case in point, I see people waiting for the green light to cross the road even at 5am when there is zero traffic on the roads ! Very apprehensive about the mass adoption of digitization in India. People do not realise it right now but they are blindly handing over total control of their lives. Praying it doesnt come to that point.
Not even 24 hrs since my original comment and the world has been brought to its knees with this IT outage. Just goes to show you that cash is truly king. This outage clearly illustrates that your life can be controlled through cashless initiatives and digitization yet we have people cheerleading these programs citing progression. End of rant!
Dude following traffic rules is smart way to cross road. It becomes habit don’t mean you become robot. people still break rules in North America. Govt makes major changes if digitization is promoted it will be adopted by masses. Nothing wrong in that.
This lady definitely did not enjoy her life and all the travel opportunities she got ( and she had ample opportunities to travel and see the world at a very young age). She came off as always comparing and competing with her husband and sometimes herself but never living and enjoying the moment. You can never be happy any where if that is your nature. She also played the victim card several times and threw her husband under the bus as many times as possible. Says she/they did not “qualify” for Australia PR because of age factors!! That is not true. You said you are in your mid 30s when you applied for an Australian PR and so you will get almost full points for the age factor. What you may not have qualified is the skills or area of skills that she or her husband has at that time of applying for Australia PR.
We need to be more empathetic to people. You don't know what she has gone through. Respect people instead of saying such things. It's nice that she has come forward to share her experience

Learning new language is heaviest thing ur children struggled really hard
True depends on the age…
Her husband doesn’t sound supportive at all. Poor kids

Now Germany and most Western countries are in recession. Its bad to go there for research. No jobs except IT, software and health professionals.
Thanks for sharing your experience

you are wrong on points regarding Australian PR. You lose points each year after 32 years of age.
