Now they need cheap maid servants, cleaners and driver.
Living in Europe I agree only with the point of loneliness. Western world is a very lonely place. Nobody is making a patient of brain tumour wait for surgery here it is based on priority only those surgeries which are not critical are made to wait not all. People here also pick up the person and help the person if someone fell from a bike yes they will not take your number and won’t be connected but they do help on the road if an issue happened though I don’t know how it is in Canada or US.
I live the way she took pride in saying" I was fortunate enough to be a sahm"
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts
The main reason is Visa issues, other reasons are just to cover up the Visa issue.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Thats a very genric statement. There are quite a few a few people who moved on their will who dont have visa issues. Thanks for watching
Good to know.
Thanks for watching
So true!!
Everyone feels same way for parents back at home & always treated like 2nd grade citizen in any country no matter how much time one spend but what to do with that greed of $. If anyone saying otherwise that's a lie. One can feel same in another country no matter how much money.
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Lot of valid points
Is "having a lot of house-help, buying cigarettes from a paanwala = good quality of life?" She makes it sound as if doing chores around the house reduces the quality of life??
Everyone’s definition of qualityof life is different and having flexibility of time is important to some. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts
Such great insights from her, very well comprehended thoughts and inputs.
Yes. Gald you found the insights helpful. Thanks for watching and sharing your feedback!!
She gave her honest, unbiased narration of her experiences. She was balanced and clear on what she wanted. So far one of the best interviews.
Gald you liked the episode and thanks for sharing your thoughts? Anything particular that resonated with you from the discussion?
Madam we have been to INDIA after retirement twice in last two years and to be honest and fair it is sad that when we left our motherland it was in much better condition than now.when a government cannot provide the basic services like clean water, air and rules and regulations for the roads and justice for all and services are poor then your quality of life is not good,so although we have a house in India 🇮🇳 we have no plans of moving back because of quality of life!🇮🇳
Thank you for sharing your experiences. Others had a good time and it varies based on what’s important for them. Have a great day!

Good one.Yes I always have this in my brain that why should I get scared to settle down in India, my mother land
Yes very true and no need to be worried to return to your mother land where there is so much a safety net

I would love to call out hypocrisy of these people. People who are moving out of USA mainly people on H1b. As backlog is building up. People are not getting their GC like other west country. Any time market goes down in USA , they loose their sponsorship from company. They need to return back to India. I saw multiple example when people were forced to return back to india from USA during covid 2020. As they loose their sponsorship. Now these people are singing song “ india is great.” on all social media group To make them feel better. My question to these people why did you move to USA in first place, if you love your country so much. It’s called hypocrisy. It reminds me saying “ Angoor Khatte hain” IT’S EASY TO DESPISE WHAT YOU CANNOT GET. 😂
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. People moved due to unforeseen and forced circumstances but also quite a few moved intentionally too. People go to different countries for getting better experiences, opportunities, etc but as your priorities change in life as you age, one candidate decide what they want to do ( move to a different country, change jobs, enroll in different programs etc.,) . Going back to home country is not a failure at all!!
@@DesiReturn People often defend their decision to move back to India by claiming a sudden awakening of love for their country. However, if it's really about the experience, why do many who get the chance to go abroad ensure their child is born in the USA? This way, even if they return to India, they keep the option of coming back to the U.S. open, as their American-born child can sponsor them when they turn 18. I live in the USA and have heard American managers criticize Indian IT workers, saying their main goal is to get sponsored for an H-1B visa. When these workers are sent back, they often justify their return by professing love for their homeland, seeking validation on social media. It’s quite hypocritical!
@@LifeLenswithJyotiGillThat's how you look at it. People who migrated to the US think that have/had a better life but people who did not go also made a lot of money. People who choose to move back also look at the potential India has and investment opportunities. Is grass greener on the India side?
@@ashutoshkulkarni551 duhhhh you are asking a question and answering youself . I am calling hypocrisy of people. How people get sudden awakening for love of their country. When any reason they need to go back to india , mostly visa issue . They start defeding their decision to get validation on social media.
Lovely couple
Thank you

Quality of life? Or did you mean corruption in india. Black Money in real estate. Homes listing 1 crore. How do expect middle class to buy a home there. India may be good for short term visit, only because of food taste. My brother told me Indian politicians are corrupt. He was a tax auditor for them. He knew how much assets they had and what were their incomes.

We moved back 3 years back to India (Banglore) after living in California (san jose) for 10 years. I stayed for 10 years and my husband stayed for 14 years. We moved back on 10th May 2021 at the peak of corona time both in USA and India. It was a such thrilling and adventurous journey back to India that a proper movie can be made of the series of encounters that we faced during the period of March 2021 to October 2021. That time of our life was so unforgettable. If you call us for podcast we will be happy to share exciting and crazy rollercoaster of our moving back to India. It will be standalone comedy that everyone will enjoy... both people who have relocated and to India and those who wants to relocate to India. I liked this TH-cam channel so much. Utter bakwaas. For 20 years in canada I have come.accross a single guy specially in my huge friends circle have left or even planning to leave canada. You may a classic.e ample of failure in canada 😂
Thanks for sharing your perspectives. Glad to know none of your huge friends circle wants to leave Canada ( good they made that conscious decision). For sure there are lot people who moved to India from Canada, USA, other countries out of their own wish for different reasons ( kids, parents, startup, retirement, etc.,) and not because they are not successful but because they can and they decided to do that. Have a great one!
wow
Thanks for watching
In her perspective been lazy and having maids is quality of life
Not doing chores - doesn’t mean lazy and having extra time to so what you like. Quality of life definition varies from person to person.
Day care in india are not regulated so don't compare cost of day care of US to india
Nothing to do with regulation. There are good playschools and cost of living differences are there
Mat aao re. Kuch nahi badla yaha
Doing your daily chores cooking food, cleaning, backyard mowing, cleaning cloths is a normal course of life, paying others below the minimum wages for such daily jobs is exploitation not to be name as comfort. One needs to integrited in society & upgrade to better social value to live happily in it. That waiting period for medical surgery is for ppl on free govt supported treatment not for the ppl who has private insurance like compared in india. Also india 7% interest comes with 4% deperition of INR VS $ yearly. I live in India & outside in last 30 yrs & in my experience this narattion is absolutely incorrect. Look at basic infra EDUCATION, Health, Judiciary & we all know the story isn't 😅😅😅
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and perspectives. Having flexibility to have chores taken care of is great to quite a lot of people and also another perspective is giving employment to others who needs jobs vs exploitation ( you see that in western countries too due to visa issues etc). There is no perfect place and one needs to decide which is good for them at given phase of life and act accordingly.
@@DesiReturn Understand that however one have to make prospective based on facts not only feelings. That 7% return on INR deposit & comparison of Private Health Care in India with Govt supported health care in US or Canada is totally incorrect & mis leading by any standards. Rest I understand can be different point of view. Such content on public platform from your channel .. just think about it. Prospectives can be different but facts are facts without any manuplation. Look at the truth of Indian infrastructure in this raining season on any TV channel & we all know that's happening in most of these private hospitals in India don't we...
India is definitely growing and changing a lot, however, it is not even close to the quality of life, safety and peace of mind you get in western countries, environment is clean and wonderful, people are really nice while in India not all but most people are toxic and just weird and envy and jealousy is the top priority amongst many. Caste politics and religious divides makes even the biggest cities unsafe. Girls are not safe in India in any part no matter what anyone says, we have experienced this ourselves. There has to be a lot of change in the mindset of people to even be close to where it needs to be in the coming years. And no sane minded person who lives abroad would want their kids to grow up in India and that ia the reality.
Thanks for sharing your experiences and perspectives. There are lot of families who moved to India intentionally for the kids to grow up up in India and people can make their own own decisions based on their experiences and opinions. Have a great day!!
By the way doing your household work is own responsibility.
Optional vs mandatory is the difference. Having that flexibility is great for some people.
In conclusion Her path, get western passport spend productive years in developed country, make sure kids will ,settle in western countries. Come back to India in your late fifties and be liability to Indian government
She is a tax paying resident and how can you say she is liability to Indian government. Anyway everyone can choose their own path.
I agree with your overall point except the last. There is no social security payments in India (at least not in amounts worth mentioning), no free healthcare ( except if you are willing to go to the government hospitals and take a chance there) , no free or great quality public education system. So I don't know what liability the government is taking for someone who moves to India in old age. In fact, if you have some source of global income to support you in your old age, government will be happy to tax you for it...and provide nothing in return.
@@earthling017Your last point is wrong too.
I want to know, if the Avinash is now located in India or outside??
Yes Avinash is living in India
@@DesiReturn you guys are awesome. I am move soon as well. Your videos put me in the right mindset.

My grandparents are Indians . I live around several countries and settle in 🇺🇸 USA which very racist towards none white peoples . Any countries you live as a Hindu Indian decent then You will face lots of mistreatment ,exploitation by from other races and religions . Only Hindu Indians treat others fairly! In Western world they designed to destroy to your culture, stealing your kids , collecting taxes, even police 👮 are laughing at the none white victims
I am on the fence right now. I landed in 2020 as a student. And, now I have a good job, a beautiful canadian born daughter, a condo of my own and my parents staying with me, my sister also stays 30 mins away. Still, I feel out of place. The thoughts of my daughter growing up with different cultural values than me, worsening healthcare, easy and laidback education , growing drug problems, depressing weather, growing racism etc are making me think to move back home.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I am assuming your daughter is very young and you have some time to make a decision and in few years you would have better clarity as daughter grows in Canada and then decide as that is the main factor.
