I'm going to put down the Lance and possibly Monster Hunter World for a little bit-although I do plan on learning some new weapons before Rise comes to PC. I'll also dip my feet into some other relaxing games such as Stardew Valley (keyword: *relaxing)* and continue reading the fantastic 1,087-page novel that I recently picked up. *Here's a huge thank you to every single one of you* for providing me kind comments, encouragement and feedback during this project. I remember watching this run when you first posted it, still puts a smile on my face two years later. Seeing such high level, flawless Lance gameplay is such a treat. Hoping to see you in Wilds, or even in World with the new surge in popularity. You, Alex and KCGemini made lance become my favorite weapon in them game.

It doesn't matter whether you're the fastest or most experienced speedrunner, what matters is you basically showed everyone how freaking cool the lance can be with your style, music, artwork, description and more. Thank you kindly, Tapion. If you think my dodges are crazy, you should see KCGemini's dodges with Evade Window 1! He has some of the ballsiest dodges I've ever seen and sometimes I wonder why he goes for them when he could just block 😛 The good news about Velkhana is that I-framing isn't as important as it may seem. The reason is that a lot of Velkhana's tail stings have very bad aiming and will easily miss your character, so you don't even have to worry about I-framing them. Look at the tail sting at 0:54 for example-Velkhana stung the spot that I was standing in probably 2 seconds prior. Once I realized how bad Velkhana's tail tracking was and how easily the stings could be avoided, I didn't feel the need for Evade Window 2-3 so much.
@@Yanxi oh I've studied enough of your videos to have gotten that, I'm more referring to the dodge at 4:49 and 6:08. Those were a couple of nice crazy dodges, especially 6:08.

Jagreus I'm really happy you found ZOne. I think ZOne even had the first sub-12 Fatalis TA hunt in the world, he's that insane. And his Tempered Furious Rajang has some 200 IQ stuff that I've never seen _anybody_ do. He even taught Alex some cool techniques that helped them both get sub-12! ZOne is like our lance innovator. 🤓

Nice! You already noted the mistakes that I was going to mention here, so I won't bother with that. Shit happens. Interesting choice to use Partbreaker. I think it probably gives more consistently good times due to being able to cancel the first aura transition reliably if he decides to transition after the topple, but that is something that you can do without PB if you have enough OfG time during the topple. So I think the potential completion time isn't as good. I noticed you dropped to white sharpness pretty early which is unfortunate. With how early it was, I'd say it was mostly bad luck with TRS procs, though running Attack Boost 7 obviously would have reduced the number of hits to finish the fight a little. Regardless, great job. You've come really far from where you started and that's something to be proud of.

They did make it op again tho, in Generations and Generations Ultimate striker lance was undeniably one of the top 3 strongest weapons in speedruns
