@@knightni7890you also used guard up? you kinda block her ice breath which is unblockable without guard up i guess..im planning on playing Lance now on my third playthrough.
@@fritzneurotoxin5297 you can’t block the downward breath, best you can do is large hop backwards or guard hop foward and hope it misses. Had to redo so many runs cause that ice breath got me
@@knightni7890 i see.guard up is the key on guarding all of its attacks except for that downward breath right? thanks,ill keep that in mind when i fight velkhana,im not too familiar with lance builds thats why im viewing builds on youtube on how to fight EDs with it.

Spankys, yea was never a fan of speed runs and how it’s mostly just cheesing the bosses

And 90% horizontal time for the monster

Yes but when it gets enraged it grows a ice tail after you cut it off

how are you avoiding so much chip damage?
i got guard 5, i dont think velk does chip damage at guard 5, i know namiele does

@@fritzneurotoxin5297 correct, in order to block her normal ice beams you need guard up
