    I know at the end I talked a lot about my current issues with the game but overall I do think the game is good, and they really are fixing a lot of issues. I just felt like it was hard to explain my point exactly so that's why it felt like I talked about it for a while. But overall I am very excited for the game.

      @@TheJelloShow100% agree on the immersion. Exactly the feedback I had about the holograms. No stakes. Malenia wouldn't be the icon she is if she just appeared in the middle of a random grassy field like a training dummy.
      I'd like to see the holograms be mini story quests where it's like a legend about some menacing monster and then you have to enter their "lair" to find them. Can even have the story expand as you defeat each level of the boss, making it make sense why the boss gets more difficult and more abilities with each stage. It's a huge opportunity to make the mode memorable as much as it is already fun.

      I also think to cater to casuals or less-skilled players without making them miss out, keep the difficulty the same, but allow people to revive after death (this is how it's done in PGR). Make the rewards based on the number of times you revive. So, even the worst player can still see the entire story without necessarily being a master, but there's still an incentive to improve and get better.

      @@TheJelloShow Lastly, Genshin I think did this well in three places, the Salt God mission was amazingly immersive, Dragonspine overall with the corrupted enemies, and the various areas in Inazuma where you were attacked by the remnant of Ei's actions. That stuff sticks with you.

    The spiral abyss commentary is so spot on. This game has so much potential and although we're getting new regions, it all feels like a remash of the previous content we had after a while and it ends up feeling dead. They really need to implement lore into hard combat and add more depth to the game. I always thought it would be so cool if we had open world raids in genshin where you could fight elite bosses in coop and if you grinded hard enough you could get a 4* stella fortuna or something of that sort. Ive always been fascinated watching lore channels analysing the story and how certain aspects could be implemented into the game, so much potential yet it doesn't look like the developers have a grand vision for genshin..

    At the very least, they are listening. It feels really good to know that things you believe should be in the game, which are currently not in the notes, might be implemented someday

    The immersion aspect might have to come with time. Genshin 1.0 is very bare bones with no dungeons. Then they added dragonspine in 1.?? which was the massive immersion region.

    It would be great if they would emphasize more the danger of the world and the threats the TD's possess being in a post-apocalyptic world and all. I'm not in the CBT and there is a highly likely chance that I'm wrong but so far I'm not really feeling that vibe, the world is beautiful dont get me wrong but its not really giving the "we've just been through an apocalypse" feel. Like I want the city to be like the stronghold for humanity thereby a safe place while everywhere outside is a no-go zone except for a select few. Is this also what you mean by immersion?

    I’ll have to feel the experience of the released game for myself to decide, but for now they haven’t raised anything that would outright stop me from downloading.

    Tbh my only concern now is the tacet field
    If we could select which echo to grind before grinding them that would be massive.
    I really hope they would change this so the open world grinding wouldn't be as mandatory.

    Their echo system even with these changes is not good enough. It all depends on point 1, where we get them in events. If we get ready-made sets for specific types of characters, it will be great news, but if it is only a small addition, it is still nah...

      My immediate thought when they stated about point 1 is the PGR event store system. Every limited event in PGR has its own domains where you can farm “memories” aka “echoes” in wuthering waves by consuming stamina. Completing the domain gives currency which you can use to buy the echo straight up from the shop. The main stat will probably be rng tho.

    How hard can it be to make a game better than genshin? Just do geshin but better and hotter chars and far better fucking gacha,.. Imagine no one knowing this!

    Still too much RNG on echoes. And why no 2pc / 4pc with and off-set piece? My turn-off with echo stats was that elemental dmg bonus was totally random, like aero piece on the wrong set. I don't understand why gacha games need to do this. Even the grindiest of the games, the diablo-like arpgs, are reducing the number of layers of rng, but in gachas you either are f2p-ing and suffering from gear rng or spending and suffering.
