My son once threw a fit in the grocery store because we walked past the Brussels sprouts on the stalk. We walked back and my boy held that huge stalk in his lap while sitting in the cart smiling a huge grin. He is 30 now and a Registered Dietician. Still loves his Brussels sprouts!
Hahaha too funny. My son used to sit on the floor when he was little while I was chopping broccoli and wait for me to hand him a piece for snacking purposes. He’s a gym rat now😂
My son (he’s 45 now) did that with fresh carrots! He did not want them peeled or the tops removed. My daughter (she’s 50 now) was a little bizarre, she would eat sweet onions like apples, especially red onions! They both love vegetables, including Brussels sprouts and fresh green beans. Thank goodness 😊
Samin Nosrat is the American-Iranian chef author of the book/show Jess is mentioning. She is very lovely and has a joyous attitude toward food / not unlike Jess herself- I am mentioning her by name because it is worth checking out any content she is behind - big fan
My absolute favorite sheet pan go to is a shrimp boil! Smoked sausage, potatoes, onion, fresh corn on the cob and shrimp, tossed in garlic butter and old bay, roasted with some lemon wedges 🤤
My favourite sheet pan consists of sausages, onion, bell pepper and potatoes, normal and/or sweet. Tossed in olive oil, mixed herbs, paprika and salt and pepper. so easy and so yummy! Also a new favourite addition to girl dinner is sweet potato and chopped sprouts, in the air fryer, exactly the way you like them! Love from the middle of the UK.
Jess I have to tell you how much I genuinely love and enjoy these videos as a mom to 3 kids and trying to choose meals thay nurtious our bodies it's so helpful to get some input for meal ideas. I also love playing your videos while I'm in the kitchen. I feel like you are keeping me company.
Sheet pan ratatouille! Hands down, one of the best things you can ever make…especially when it comes out of the garden! I like to roast eggplant, squash or zucchini, bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, and garlic. Mix them when they’re done and serve with Mediterranean grilled chicken, tzatziki, hummus, pita bread, and fresh tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden. Y’all…I swear it’s the best thing ever!
I can roasted ratatouille ingredients in the summer to throw over half way cooked sausages or lamb chops over winter. Not exactly sheet pan because we like it with mash potatoes. It’s a recipe based on NCHFP recipe tomatoes with okra/zucchini. Absolutely delicious. Pressure canned with timing as if canning a vegetable so no added acid as per the exact recipe. Anyway, it’s boiling for around 15-20 minutes in the pan as the sausages/chops finish cooking. I too use leftovers with pasta. We love fresh ratatouille of course but it’s a fave ready made canned.
Always nice to see you share some simple, basic meals as well as those that are a bit more complicated and more work. Your meals always look delicious. Blessings
One of the meals we eat regularly is “bacon over”. It’s chopped veggies (frozen work great) with bacon laid over the top. As the bacon cooks, the grease drips down and the veggies simmer in it. I can have dinner in the oven in five minutes AND the kids all love it. 🎉
I love sheet pan dinners. So easy and quick to throw together. My favorite combo is cubed chicken or pork, sweet potatoes, butternut squash or pumpkin, and chickpeas seasoned with Tajin Classic seasoning. Serve with a side salad with a simple vinaigrette that has some of the same seasoning blend tossed in it. So good. I love the slight spice from the chili peppers with the hint of lime. So good!
We did stuffed peppers tonight, I love the kielbasas with cabbage cooked in bacon grease 😋 thanks for the reminder on the fact things can be simple and delicious ❤forgot to say, I love a splash of balsamic vinegar or balsamic glaze, takes everything over the top 👍🏻
This is a great perspective because most cooks have a few dishes like this in their back pocket that SAVE their a** regularly!! And those are the times when a new cook realllllly needs the advice! So thank you. I'm not a new cook but it's a refreshing perspective for me to see myself in a different light in also.
I have a huge, huge mixing bowl, and I cut everything into the bowl. Add oil and seasonings, and then mix it all thoroughly. I just divide it up onto three or four pans. Everything has the same seasonings and the flavor of the onions and sausage throughout. I also like to add flavorful apples to the mix - they taste great with savory seasoning. Side note - my mother used to cook frozen vegetables until they turned into mush. I couldn't eat any brassica until I got married and started cooking on my own. Roasted brassicas are a game changer!
Same here on the mushy frozen veggies. I didn't like vegetables at all until I became an adult and learned how to cook. Suddenly, I realized that veggies taste very good when not mushy and with some simple seasoning.
As a mom with two Littles and a third one on the way, sheet pan dinners have been my go-to meal. We get a few different kinds of sausage from costco to go with the veggies and today I did one with chicken thighs, Brussels sprouts, and sweet potatoes! Always a crowd pleaser with company and one of my two top meals to make for new mothers ❤️
Brussels sprout, spinach and cauliflower have always been my favorite veggies. I cook them different ways and they are all fantastic. My kids also have always liked them.
Love beets, parsnips, broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, onion, garlic, or carrots in any combination. Pull them from the oven and grate a bit of Parmesan cheese over them. Many times I’ll just serve it w/rice or farro and call it good-super tasty no-meat option!
Sweet Jess, I do a similar sheet pan meal lined with tin foil. Add flatened out ground beef as the first layer topped with a season salt and pepper. Next add regular and sweet potatoes cut up. with sliced carrots, beets, and parsnips; red peppers with onions. Then add the final topping cut up skinless beef kielbosa. Drizzle olive oil over everything, seal the too with tin foil and bake at 375 for approximately 40 minutes.
This video is Gold just for you. Just talking about the food science and flavor notes throughout! Seriously enjoy your videos and thoroughly. Enjoy hearing your mind on things! Thank you for sharing your experience!
I rarely follow a recipe, even though I collect thrifted cookbooks. I treat them like art books and use them for inspiration. Sheet pan meals are so great because it really cuts down on dishes.
Jess one of my favorite sheet pan dinners is diced sweet potatoes, beef sausage link, diced onion and Brussels. Toss it in oil and garlic, then roast it 15 mins. Drizzle honey and roast another 10-15 mins. Then sprinkle with salt and pepper and it's delicious! I also really love adding parsnips and peppers I love peppers!
My fav sheet pan roasted veggies are the root veggies. Beets, turnip/rutabagga, and carrots being the best. They caramalize nicely because of their higher sugar content - yum!
Sheet pan meals are so good. We love roasted Brussels too but we usually roast or fry them as leftovers with bacon bits or pancetta. They make excellent bubble & squeak with leftover mash! 😃
I love sheet pan dinners. I'll put cabbage and onions with my kielbasas. When the grandkids come over unexpectedly I'll make sheet pan fajitas.Peppers, onions, chicken, strips or chunks ,and taco seasoning.
I make something like this. I skewer my sausage "coins" and broil them first so they get all sizzly and leave some grease in the pan. Easier to flip if they're flat on skewers. Then I take them out, cook the rest of my veggies in that oil and add the meat at the end. I sprinkle a little Shredded parmesan on the top at the last minute. I love seeing what you put in. Never thought of Brussels sprouts! Awesome!! I use broccoli and Cauliflower too! Thank you!! I love your videos on both of your channels!!! ❤❤❤
Jess I was smiling when you started to use the oil spray. Thanks to you I have purchased a set. I kept one for me and I will send the other to my girlfriend. 🎉🎉🎉 Since I have it no oil everywhere except in the bottle💃💃💃🫶🫶🫶 love it. Thank you so much for the tip. Also thank you for the Brussels Sprout recipe.
I bake my Polska kielbasa with potatoes, bell peppers, onions, cherry tomatoes,Brussel sprouts, and a bunch of spices. One of our favorite dinners and enough for 2 meals. Sometimes add asparagus and cut up squash. So many vegetables and a little sausage. Very good for us. Loved this episode. Hearts and Flowers coming your way. ❤️💐
My favorite sheet pan is bacon, green beans, onion, sweet peppers (red, yellow &orange) potatoes with garlic and abit of olive oil, salt &pepper. After about 15 to 20 minutes add shrimp on top for a few more minutes. And then remove from oven, stir a splash of lemon 🍋. So good and easy! I basicly throw the kitchen sink on a pan haha! Love watching your family Jess 👪❤
I make a similar dinner all the time. I prefer to cook my kielbasa in a frying pan, and then deglaze the pan with sauerkraut, so that the kraut dries out a bit and absorbs all that sausage flavor. I make a mixture of balsamic vinegar, dijon mustard, olive oil and finely chopped onion (maybe a little sugar as well), and toss my brussel sprouts in it before I roast them. So good!
As always, I love your excitement and joy for life. And your kitchen looks beautiful! I love the colors you used. It is so warm and inviting, yet so much brighter! Love it💜🌻
Brussel sprouts are the bomb! I roast them in halves or quarters and then toss them warm with sauteed onion, turkey bacon, balsamic, olive oil and cranberry cinnamon goat cheese! Its the bomb diggity! ❤
We have what the call Salad house here in Nj. I always get everything I like in it with steak. So I'm like ok let's try the Brussels sprouts, them and the steak come to you warm. Love it. Little on the pricey side, but so worth it 😊❤
It's always a good idea to share the somewhat obvious, easy meals as we tend to get in a rut of fixing the same meals again and again. This one looks like it turned out deliciously. Thanks. 😊
We love sheet pan meals. We love to finish with crumbled got cheese and balsamic glaze. Roasted sweet potatoes, red bell peppers, onions, jalapeños (seeded) with smoked paprika are my favorite! Salt fat acid heat is great way to learn to cook. Then you can become a cook that doesn’t have to rely on recipes when making fresh Whole Foods. Great video Jess. Could you do another video on your layered eggplant dish? I know I’ll have to wait until summer 😊
Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat!!! Have the book and watched the series! Really informative and the series is in locations I have been to or would love to go. Just beautiful.
Jess, thank you for some great ideas for dinner. When I come home from work, I am tired. This seems like a quick meal. Can you do more videos like this? Easy and quick meals. Thank you for sharing your recipes!
For my sheet pan dinners, I like to toss on some butternut squash pieces with chicken and dried cranberries, with a bit of maple syrup (not too much, just a touch) or a dijon vinaigrette. I also shingle some potatoes and sprinkle them with salt/pepper & a bit of shredded cheese while some kind of meat cooks on the other half of the sheet pan, usually link sausage and some broccoli.
Love love love roasted brussel sprouts. Yes Jess I’m with you with the sheet pan dinners. I like to add coarse chopped garlic to the mix. Bell peppers and broccoli are my other faves. Sometimes I sprinkle some shredded Parmesan on top. It’s just so versatile. You made me hungry !
Jess! Totally valuable---simply one pan meals are SO helpful. Love it. Showing me that sprouted potatoes are good to eat clears up one of my current questions. Thank you, thank you Girlfriend.
Looks great! I love making something similar. I call it a Hobo dinner - sausage, potatoes, onions, garlic, sweet peppers, carrots, and chopped up cabbage. Depending on what else I have, I have added turnips, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, asparagus, summer squash, etc.
I love your channel. I bet if we lived close together we would be besties! You are so real and have such a sweet spirit. You keep being you and love you much!
Thanks for your videos Jess, the other night I did your spatchcock chicken in the cast iron with a sheet pan of root veg and it was a hit and such an easy and nourishing dinner! 💕💕 I often come back to your older Farmer’s table videos to make something you’ve shared
Thank you for the suggestion on the show on Netflix. Can’t wait to watch it. I love cooking. It was super funny I had sports for my girls to watch. Needless to say came home at 815 and threw some veg, potatoes, and sausage in the oven added rice and done!
Oh Jess, your kitchen looks so much brighter. I thought it was beautiful before but the changes you have made made it even better and is your hardware copper? Copper is my favorite metal in my home. In fact sometimes I buy things and then I paint them copper instead of the silver gold, etc., that they come in. So I’m just loving everything you’ve done and the laundry room too. Thank you for making my days brighter❣️❣️❣️
I love carrots, beets, mushrooms, peppers, cherry tomatoes, and bulb fennel, with kidneys beans for my protein. Splash of lemon juice. Garlic and onions and herbs of course. Served over buttered rice. So god. The beans get nutty flavored, the color is a feast for the eyes too!
Sheet pan dinners are the best! Easy to make, easy to mix it up, and super yummy! These are our go-to meals for camping too but we just wrap them up in foil. We usually do some sort of sausage or big cubes of steak and then whatever veggies we have on hand: onions, peppers, mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, zucchini, broccoli, brussels sprouts ❤
We do a sheet dinner quite often with chicken thighs, chorizo or hot sausages, red peppers, onions, potatoes and spiced with oregano and orange zest. Got it from Nigella but it is always a hit!
What a perfect fall dinner! Yum. What I put on a sheet pan depends on the season. In the fall winter squash, sweet potatoes, broccoli, shallots and of course the veggies you used. For proteins besides sausage, I use chicken, ham or or leftovers, say pot roast. Thanks for the inspiration! Foodies unite!
Sheet pan and frittata are my two favorite speedy and whatever is in harvest meals! I learned the frittata from you, but sheet pan meals were part of my growing up
That looks great! I do sautéed sausage meals but sheetpan never occurred to me 😊 I do one with smoked sausage or kielbasa, onions and peeled apples tossed in a bit of olive oil and melted butter, s&p maybe a sprinkle of brown sugar if you like. Now I'm thinking potatoes would be great. Also good with scalloped or au gratin potatoes. Thanks for all the inspiration and information!
My husband and I love a good sheet pan dinner! Our favorite is baked balsamic chicken slices and veg. Thanks for this! We also love a “snack” dinner of fruit, raw veg, and quality meat and cheeses. It works and it fills the belly 🤍 god bless!
I love this idea. I can see how it would be very versatile. I have not yet had brussel sprouts that I liked, but I have not tried them roasted yet or prepared like you have shown. I might try them that way.
Brussels Sprouts and sweet potatoes together with sausage is one of my favorites! I use bacon grease as my fat, which adds the perfect salty, smoky flavor. It’s so good
I HAD to run over to Amazon to order that oil sprayer!!! My husband does all the cooking (I know, I'm blessed!) but he is going to love that sprayer in his Christmas stocking.
Chicken sausage, potatoes, kale, onions, peppers, with pickled carrots are a go to for sheet pan dinners!! Love your content and thank you for sharing your love of real food 🫶
I absolutely love Brussels sprouts! Even the steamed ones! Lately I’ve been roasting mine brushed with bacon grease and balsamic glaze then serving them with maple candied bacon…..🤤🤤🤤🤤 So freaking good! My favorite sheet pan dinner is ribeye steak with roasted green beans and cherry tomatoes served with a dollop of blue cheese on the steak. You can season this anyway you like, but simple salt and pepper seems to be the best. Roasting really brings out the flavors of so many foods.
Years ago, I made brussels sprouts in a tomato curry sauce, and it was delicious. Never knew they could taste so good! I have no idea what happened to the recipe, I only made it once.
A bag of organic frozen broccoli, some chopped potatoes, and some sausages (whatever I have in the freezer) works well too! I often put the broccoli on one end of the sheet pan so it doesn't steam the potatoes. I love sheet pan dinners, and slow cooker meals too! ❤
Jess, I loved this video and the ingredients you chose are perfect. Separating brussel sprouts makes sense. Cost is low. I like the dark gray you painted the range hood. We got snow today. ❤
Hi Jess❤ I watched that Netflix show you talked about and I loved it. I bought the book and honestly it’s one of my favourite cook books. She is a phenomenal cook and explains everything in an expert and easy to understand fashion. The thing I love about this book is that she teaches you how to cook, then you can use what you have or what you like to create beautiful food. Also my love language. It really is the only book you need besides a canning book as a new cook. Highly recommend ❤❤
Tonight, before you posted this, I also had a Costco bag of brussel sprouts that had been in the fridge for a while and decided to roast them, along with some bacon. The last few minutes I added some maple syrup. They were delicious, and I have leftovers.
My niece makes Brussels sprouts roasted in a little bacon grease with honey and sriracha sauce. She tops them with homemade bacon bits. I’m usually averse to eating anything as hot as sriracha sauce, but for these Brussels sprouts, I make an exception!
Jess I love that cookbook and her series! On the “ Fat” episode they make the Ligurian Foccacia! Our absolute favorite bread recipe bedsides my sourdough! We watch that series over and over lol! And sheet pan meals are the best! Thanks for the recipes!, ❤
My kids loved that dish growing up! I did mine in the skillet or Dutch oven with bacon grease and crumbled bacon on top too. I love Brussel sprouts my kids not so much, we did broccoli. Oh yes those do smell funky 😂
I cook once a week at the home of friends. I make sheet pan dinners at least every other month. Carrots and yams are also great additions- Brussels are a necessary ingredient and when in season, I add parsnips! Root veggies are really great roasted. The face you made when talking about boiled Brussels sprouts is exactly how I feel about them being boiled. 😅😅. Blessings!
i'm taking notes from the comments section - so many new ideas to try! my most successful sheet pan dinner was a crispy gnocci bake with the aforementioned gnocchi, sliced sausage, sweet potato, and broccoli stems. i made a honey mustard vinaigrette for a little extra pop and it was really, really good.
Love these ease meals but healthy smoked sausage is SO hard to find. I'll try and hunt some down. I have watch Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat several times! Such an awesome show!
This brand I got from Earth Fare. It's humanly raised and nitrate free. I thought the ingredients looked pretty good and they were on sale 2/9 dollars.
Brussel sprouts at the bottom of a pot woth onions, potatoes, and carrots, then seasonings such as those for stew or pot roast, then beef roast and a bit of beef consomme. Cooked low and slow. It makes the brussel sprouts to die for.
We LOVE sheet pan meals. I never thought of using a smoked sausage, so I think I’ll give it a go! Also, I really like the colour you painted the range hood. Great choice!
"Salt Fat Acid Heat" is indeed on Netflix. Samin Nosrat is a joy to behold and also a great teacher. I don't know if you're familiar with Vivian Howard's "Deep Run Roots" cookbook and PBS series, but highly recommend. 💫
He’s a gym rat now😂
That's adorable!
I love this story. Something in him just knew he needed it that day and I’m so glad u obliged. So sweet all around. 😊
I love Brussel sprouts! I wish I could grow them. As a kid I called them alien heads because that's what I thought they looked like.
Samin Nosrat is the American-Iranian chef author of the book/show Jess is mentioning. She is very lovely and has a joyous attitude toward food / not unlike Jess herself- I am mentioning her by name because it is worth checking out any content she is behind - big fan
Came here to say the same thing. And it is filmed beautifully! Well worth your time!
Samin is awsome and Michael Pollan has a doc. 'Fire, Water, Air, Earth' that is also worth a watch.
My absolute favorite sheet pan go to is a shrimp boil! Smoked sausage, potatoes, onion, fresh corn on the cob and shrimp, tossed in garlic butter and old bay, roasted with some lemon wedges 🤤
Oh, we do that, too! It's so good!!
So it's a shrimp broil?
Genius! Yum!!!
Sounds yummy! Think I will try it.
The Best Seafood 🦞 and Vegetable 🥕
My favourite sheet pan consists of sausages, onion, bell pepper and potatoes, normal and/or sweet. Tossed in olive oil, mixed herbs, paprika and salt and pepper. so easy and so yummy! I love how much brighter and airier your kitchen looks.
Jess! I am using your channel to learn to cook and I SOOOOO appreciate the easy meals. Thanks for this!

@adigmon I do the same except I add Italian seasoning. I put any leftovers over pasta for another meal.
Sounds amazing! Will adopt! 😊 Definitely a lot more prep, though, than this recipe!

I have a huge, huge mixing bowl, and I cut everything into the bowl. Add oil and seasonings, and then mix it all thoroughly. I just divide it up onto three or four pans. Apples would be a nice addition! Thanks for the idea.
Same here on the mushy frozen veggies. I didn't like vegetables at all until I became an adult and learned how to cook. Suddenly, I realized that veggies taste very good when not mushy and with some simple seasoning.
Yes grew up on terrible can and reboiled veggies….🙄

My absolute favorite is sweet potato, beets, Brussels, bacon. Top with balsamic dressing, goat cheese, and pistachios 😋 ❤
Sweet potatoes are one of my favorites to add to sheet pan dinners.
I like how easy the clean up is
Brussel sprouts are the bomb! I roast them in halves or quarters and then toss them warm with sauteed onion, turkey bacon, balsamic, olive oil and cranberry cinnamon goat cheese! Its the bomb diggity! ❤
Oh my, they are the best oven roasted in a salad
@pattytorres7853 oh I agree! Yumm!
Lol Jess I made this comment before you explained why this combo Is so delicious! 😅 lol. I'm on your wavelength here!
We have what the call Salad house here in Nj. I always get everything I like in it with steak. So I'm like ok let's try the Brussels sprouts, them and the steak come to you warm. Love it. Little on the pricey side, but so worth it 😊❤

Mushrooms added to any sheet pan combo works. Then again I love mushrooms.
I was taken to Alvin & Chipmunk land for a moment during that sped up part 🤣🤣
RIGHT!!! My kids loved them and so do my husband and I!!
Hahaha I usually try to delete that sped up sound. I goofed on that one 😂
I guess that’s what happens when I edit while dinner cooks 😂😂
@RootsandRefugeFarm I may play it at reduced speed so I know what you were saying. 😊
Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat!!! Have the book and watched the series! Really informative and the series is in locations I have been to or would love to go. Just beautiful.

Jess! Totally valuable---simply one pan meals are SO helpful. Love it. Showing me that sprouted potatoes are good to eat clears up one of my current questions. Thank you, thank you Girlfriend.
thank you for showing this bottle for oil. I just purchased the spritzer bottle for oil and everyone in my family LOVES it.
What is the name of the oil spritzer that you-all like?
@@altheaclary5879 Jess put it in the description but mine is a 2 in 1 Oil Dispenser Bottle for Kitchen.
Roasted brussel sprouts 😍. So delicious
Nothing better then roasted brussel sprouts!
The word "packages" makes me feel some type of way. 😍
I use to make this all the time when my daughter was younger. Gonna have to start making this again. Perfect quick meal after a long work day.❤
Oh Jess, your kitchen looks so much brighter.
This is a simple go to for me. I do the sausage and pair it with Brussels sprouts and beets!
Love the new color on the hood! Thanks for sharing dinner AND design inspiration! 😊
My husband and I love a good sheet pan dinner! Our favorite is baked balsamic chicken slices and veg. Thanks for this! We also love a “snack” dinner of fruit, raw veg, and quality meat and cheeses. It works and it fills the belly 🤍 god bless!
Thanks for sharing,,, I love my brussels sprouts with parmesan cheese and a drizzle of reduced balsamic vinegar once out of oven..
I love this idea. I can see how it would be very versatile. I have not yet had brussel sprouts that I liked, but I have not tried them roasted yet or prepared like you have shown. I might try them that way.
I do sheet pan once a week. Peppers are my favorite.
I make a sheet try of Italian sausage, chicken thighs, potatoes, peppers, and onions. When my kids were in sports we did that often.
Oh my goodness Chipmunk Jess there was hysterical!
Omg I'm searching the comments for a name or link!
Chicken sausage, potatoes, kale, onions, peppers, with pickled carrots are a go to for sheet pan dinners!! Love your content and thank you for sharing your love of real food 🫶
I absolutely love Brussels sprouts! Even the steamed ones! Lately I’ve been roasting mine brushed with bacon grease and balsamic glaze then serving them with maple candied bacon…..🤤🤤🤤🤤
So freaking good!
What does the broccoli turn out like? I've never done frozen broccoli in the oven!
@algonquinwoman1921 really good! Drizzle with oil, salt and pepper. It gets soft on the inside and browned on the outer bits. ❤️
Really love fresh green beans on a sheet pan with potatoes and smoked sausage. I want some of yours right now!!❤❤🙏🙏xxoo
The kitchen looks GREAT!!
Jess, I loved this video and the ingredients you chose are perfect. Separating brussel sprouts makes sense. Cost is low. I like the dark gray you painted the range hood. We got snow today. ❤
i have never had roasted brussels sprouts! but i am gona try, wow, i never thought of them roasted.
Hey Jess, Brussels sprouts are a great ingredient for a soup or a broth. So are Turnips!
I agree with you on the brussel sprouts. I love them
This is one of my favorite meals. I love cabbage and onions with it too!
Jess I love that cookbook and her series! On the “ Fat” episode they make the Ligurian Foccacia! Our absolute favorite bread recipe bedsides my sourdough! We watch that series over and over lol! And sheet pan meals are the best! Thanks for the recipes!, ❤
Looks Delish. The vinegar tip is great, can't wait to try it.
😅😅. Blessings!
This meal works well in foil packets over a fire. It is one of our "go-to" camping meals.
i'm taking notes from the comments section - so many new ideas to try! my most successful sheet pan dinner was a crispy gnocci bake with the aforementioned gnocchi, sliced sausage, sweet potato, and broccoli stems. i made a honey mustard vinaigrette for a little extra pop and it was really, really good.
I love a good brown soft crispy roasted brussel sprout !
I just made Brussel sprouts and bacon last night. They felt like they were missing something. Adding balsamic vinegar to them sounds so good.
"Salt Fat Acid Heat" is indeed on Netflix. Samin Nosrat is a joy to behold and also a great teacher. I don't know if you're familiar with Vivian Howard's "Deep Run Roots" cookbook and PBS series, but highly recommend. 💫
I love the color you chose for your range hood!!
