@@StabStabStabStabby yeah some of them have. Some games skyrocketed when Sony threatened to close the PS3 store. Now they decided to keep it open longer some of those games dropped back down in price a little bit. There’s still a lot of cheap Ps3 games that are good though.
Thanks for another packed video MJ! I love keeping up with you and radical reggies pickups! I had no idea Duke nukem made an appearance in bulletstorm haha.I’ll have to keep my eyes open for that one😝
You bet!
That mud runner game looks like it's a true test of patience. Lol
Very much so, but also really addictive. 👍
Parking a trailer backwards in the mud was a real change. And that is in the beginning of the game
i've played more than a few farming simulators to platinum. i agree. i'd look into it but diablo 2 has my full and undivided attention atm. and it's got hooks in me like back in the 90's. there are only 3 games i know i sunk more time into. unreal tournament. the original cod on pc + expansion + cod 2. and return to castle wolfenstein multiplayer.
Picked up God of War, Horizon, Bloodborne 46 dollars CAD. Nice little score. 10 - God of War, 16 - Bloodborne, 20 - Horizon (Still Sealed) Never understood what the hype was about GOW until I just started playing it. Holy space balls batman...lol
@EveryChevyChase bloodborne is a masterpiece. My first souls experience. Nearly killed me till I got thr hang of it now a souls freak through and through.
Oh yeeahhh friday with metaljesus new video!
Kills one Shadowfall is a great game and was a great launch title. I wish they made more Killzones.
The multiplayer was awesome!!
I remember it being pretty bad. I do wish they would make more though.
@@blackmetal4546 I hear ya, the ps4 launch was exciting
Battle zone is a 1998 remake from the PC! It was an epic game to play online!
since ps5 is backwards compatible it will be interesting to see if prices remain cheap or rise more than usual 🤔 Ps4 sold so much I don't think these will be hard to find but who knows especially with the limited run games.
Series X plays OG xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One games it hasn't had much if any of an impact on the prices of those games.
Yeah but there arent many xbox collectors, and the xbox market is always behind playstation and nintendo
@@OrphanCrippler1 I take that back the original FEAR trilogy on Xbox 360 went WAY up in price same with a ton of other 360 and og xbox games that were added to backwards compatibility. Any game not sold digitally will be valuable $$$
@@joewhitlow5799 Lmao
@@joewhitlow5799 way to admit when you're wrong!
Best to get the library now while it’s cheap, we all know how it works. 10- 15 years later the $10 games become $40 and the $25 games become $250 haha 😂
Go go Godzilla!
It's scary..... just scary..... because i instantly hated the graphics of Rad Rodgers, within about 1.5 seconds. It looks monstrous.
Funny you've highlighted the Bulletstorm remaster though, i didn't know it existed. Though i did play the original on PS3. A colourful FPS, if a little undemanding (no surprise they opted to get Duke Nukem in this remaster).
Another good video Metal Jesus, the Mudrunner game looks strangely addictive.
Honorable mentions :
Infamous second son
Dying light
Middle earth shadow Mordor
Resident evil origins collection
Little big planet 3
The order 1886
Bloodborne
Good list!
You ain’t lying man. I’ve been collecting PS4 game’s for the past 18 months along with a wide range of VR games. Besides GameStop, I’ve seen them real cheap at Target and Walmart.
Yoku's Island Express is definitely a hidden gem for under $10. It's a very fun pinball/metroidvania type game that you can't put down once you start playing.
It's great
Can't go wrong with Mudrunners and Trials Fusion.
I never even thought about that game but it looks so cool. They should make one where you have to drive in snow
I still love the commander keen series, always love to hear a reference to that absolute winner from my childhood!
Yep! I spent many months playing the original on my 286. Or maybe it was a 386? I forget.
@@MetalJesusRocks I got into it a few years after it came out, but still early 90s. I had the whole PC series. Was just reminded of Jill of the jungle as well recently, man I loved that game too. Funny how shareware has come back again in mobile in such a massive way. Those guys were ahead of their time with that move
Ironically, John Hancock has talked about retro game stores have upped the prices of their video games as well.
Maybe you and Hancock can make a video of you going to a retro game store. If & when they lowered their prices. :)
Atari 2600 games went up and then down again over about a decade. Is that what you are referring to?
Great vid and some fab suggestions. Keep up the great content! 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Trials Fusion and the Mudrunner game are solid 👌 driving games. My only complaint is the Unicorn animation on Trials can be slightly off depending upon the motion your doing, for example the last step off bigger jumps. The front foot can power off open air. But other than that good choices.
best time to buy games are during console transitions. many will be markdown to make room for next gen games. it is always like that.
Dude I got back 4 blood for $25 instead of $60 that's why i love getting discs that are so cheap than the original ones 💯🔥
Love your videos Metal Jesus!
Thanks so much 😍
I've been recently collecting again for the PS4 since I have a working slim now. Some great games! I don't have any more room for physicals though 😂
I know that you compared Redout as an F-zero type of game, all tough it is closer as a spiritual successor to Wipeout, hence the name.
In the uk u can get this games under £5 that’s probably around $3-4 like dishonoured 2 for example it’s like £2-3 pre-owned and that’s like $1-2
"A really slow racing game that is almost like a puzzle game" is such a perfect description for MudRunner.
not to forget Rad Rodgers is running on the awesome Giana Sisters Engine from Black Forest Games.
Ok. That makes sense because the two games do have a similar look!
You ALWAYS showcase the BEST games and consequently have the best videos! I definitely need to pick up a few of these!
Mud Runner is a Strand-type game
Just picked up my very first PS4 today and excited to check out these games.
most would sugest the sequal to mud runner that is called snow runner if you can find it on the playstation 4 you should get snow runner more to do in that.
I would say that Rad Rodgers is a spiritual successor to Ruff and tumble on the Amiga. They look the same and nearly the sane name Ruff Rodgers.👍😃
I would recommend Bloodborne, The Last Guardian, and Shadow of the Colossus remake.
Thank you for another fantastic video MJ
Cool video but it might be worth noting that as someone who lives in Australia, not a single one of these games can be purchased for under $10. After doing a search on each game, most of them are all $20+.
After forgetting my PS4 across the country a long time ago, I recently bought a PS5. This video should help me make up for lost time.
I am still waiting for the PS4 consoles prices to drop. Everyone is still trying to charge $300-$500 for theirs so they can recoup PS5 costs.
I reccomend Helldivers, Patapon 1 remaster, Bloodborne, Shadow of the Colossus remake, Gravity Rush 1 & 2, and Shadow Warrior. They pretty cheap too.
While it's still around, GameStop tends to have good sales on pre-owned games, such as 3 for $30 on games $15 and under, 4 for $20 on games $10 or less, and the best one I recall being 5 for $50 on games $20 or less (was able to get cyberpunk 2077 essentially for $10 just months after it came out with that one)
Last time I was in a Gamestop (2 weeks ago) they had a single PS4 game that was under 19.99. Shit is overpriced.
From my experience, I'd say about 20% of the games at my local stores are $20 or lower. While the majority of their games aren't that cheap, there's a decent amount of good stuff under $20
Friday! Kicking back in the sofa with a drink and some MJ is the best thing ever! Really good suggestions here!
Yay! Thank you!
I cannot, CANNOT, stress enough how amazing RedOut is. It's such a beautiful evolution of Studio Liverpool's Wipeout series. The dual analog controls just feel so intuitive and precise and the feeling of going 1100+ KM/H is conveyed perfectly. Seriously recommend.
Always find games i didn t knew about thx
The PS4 is my favorite system to collect for today. I make sure to browse the Walmart clearance shelf every time I'm around. You'd be surprised how many amazing games I've picked up new for only $5 which usually go for much more.
Curious what you have snagged for $5 from Walmart clearance.
I saw dark souls 3 complete for $10 at walmart
The most recent one I picked up for $5 was Life is Strange 2. It varies sometimes, of course. Just got to keep your eyes out.
Speaking of Call of Cthulu, I really hope we get a remaster of Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth one day
I picked up Trine Trilogy and Killzone Shadow under 10 bucks at Gamestop. Thanks for the suggestions. Only need Killzone 1 for Ps2 for my Killzone collection.
Trine Trilogy is so good! Love those games.
I think the reaction to "clicky thumbnails is very hard to make" is probably my favorite MJR moment.
This needs an inflation update
#truth
Horizon Zero Dawn is my favorite PS4 game! You can find it cheap if you look around!
Great video, i love Batllezone vr, amazing game, dreamed of it back in the day. Really need to go back to it.
PlayStation is so easy to collect for. The definition of mainstream gaming.
I love the ps4 so many good cheap games. Awesome video. 😊
"Just one more try" feel to the game - love that description 🤟
Awesome recommendations! Love seeing PSVR titles on the list 😊
yeah I know what you mean, a never ending "one more tries" 🤣🤣
Battlezone is an awesome VR game, but the developer also updated it so the entire game can be played flat (without the PSVR). They also added a really cool looking update which makes the game look like the classic arcade green wireframe version. Highly recommended.
I wish the gunplay in shadow fall was better it always felt stiff no matter the sensitivity I set it to
Redout reminds me of a modern version of S.T.U.N. Runner from the arcades.
A true classic!! 🤜💥🤛
Metal jesus will always be top tier gaming youtube
Awesome video! Ive found that with ps4 games being so cheap RN that the monthly box company, Video games monthly, has been packing in quite a few ps4 games into their boxes. Ive gotten Prey brand new and a bunch of other games. Right now is a great time to build a solid ps4 library.
Amazing games! Amazing video!
I loved Bulletstorm on PS3!
uncharted series are one of greatest games ever made. im talking about part 1-part 4.
I would say it's the best console at the moment .... Games you could lose yourself in , and plenty of hidden gems
Got a pro online for 300 with full vr setup. Also got an Xbox one for 100 and signed up for game pass. My gpu died 8 months ago and I'm not paying 400 bucks for a 1650
@@shaymorcormick8743
That's a really good deal. I sold my PS4 Pro for 300 dollars about 6 months ago, just the console and nothing else included!
Another great video! I love your channel!
for the MudRunner game, the American Wilds version includes the previous 2 DLCs + the American Wilds DLC while the other version is just the base game, that's the only difference
I brought my PS4 slim early this year and I don't regret it
Great suggestion!
Great video mate, thanks. Would love to see you bring the old crew together someday soon, i miss those vids. Sorry if my spelling is all over the place, not drunk but from sweden : )
Have a nice weekend
The legend returns 🙏🤙
Love your you tube Channel l like your hidden gem episodes and also your video game pick ups with Reggie you guys have a great chemistry together very entertaining. Please keep the videos coming peace out✌️.
PS4 still rocking and I agree with the great game deals!
Picked up shenmue 1+2 and Shenmue 3 for £10.00 for both
The PAL version of Mudrunner American Wilds still sells for £20 ($27) at CEX (the UK version of GameStop). Going to wait until the price drops :)
nice video man, those look like fun! Cheers from Tampa!
More videos like this please. Thank's for the recommendations 🤘
Some awesome games, didnt know about a lot
of them very good review MetalJesusRocks
love the split screen graphic at the start
