She refused to stay by her car, she refused the first time he asked for ID - and she even she took what looked like a lunch bag or box from her car - and took it into her house! It was after she had that little move put of the way that she felt on safer ground. She also put herself in fanger when she suddenly turned and went into the car, into her purse, without any warning or explanation. She did that more than once. I hope the judge tells her to list everything that was in the lunch box and explain why it was important to take that into the house, yet none of her other belongings, like her purse.
In countries where law officers are not political, she would simply have been fired for this. For speeding and then refusing to stop, that alone; for lying about why she didn’t stop (her versions are mutually contradictory) for disobeying his procedural commands to stay outside and stand by the car; for removing herself AND potential evidence from the scene (she took that very important lunch box inside); and for her gratuitous verbal insults towards the officer, personally as well as professionally disrespecting him. A DA, any kind of legal official, should be held to a HIGHER standard of behavior than other people.
