      @user-du7xi3fk6b it's a position of power privilege. I've seen so many videos of black DA's/SA's pulling the same shit. The people who always got to bring race into everything clearly is a racist themselves and love to play the victim card and you know I'm right. You're such a racist and think your a victim you have to come on here being anonymous going around pointing out the white privilege to justify why your a racist and hate white people. Shit, if anything, being white hurts you more than anything these days. You can pull out your POC card and for everything that bad happens to you or that you just suck at you can blame it on racism and white privilege. That's why all I ever see is black only this and black only that and it's ok for you to say black power and you're proud to be black, but, Me change the word black with white and all of those things would be called out and canceled and people would get fired for being racist. In 2024 America, the only privilege is everyone excluding if your white. And if your brown or trans or Muslim then change black with one of those and it still all applies 💯

    , in New York, fleeing from a police officer in a motor vehicle after being ordered to stop is a class D felony in the first degree, which is the most serious felony of its kind. A conviction for this offense can result in up to seven years in prison, a substantial fine, and a five-year probation term. A felony conviction on your record can also cause problems later in life, such as when applying for jobs and other opportunities.

    I work in law enforcement. I also have a badge. I VASTLY outrank any officer who will pull me over for a traffic stop.
    But GUESS WHAT?! I always pull over. I place my car in park, get as far off the side of the road as I'm able to safely do so, roll down ALL the windows, turn on ALL the interior lights, and patiently wait with either both hands on the top of the steering wheel, or one hand completely out the window and the other on top of the wheel.
    I wait for the officer to speak, I provide all the necessary documentation, and I apologize for the infraction. If I'm given a ticket, I sign if appropriate and ask any pertinent questions, then tell the officer to please stay safe, and say goodbye.
    I've been pulled over dozens of times. I've received my fair share of tickets. I've NEVER phoned any members of police leadership, even though I have their numbers, I've never treated the officer's poorly, and I've never badged anyone unless they have specifically asked if I work in law enforcement and asked to see my credentials.
    If I did what this woman did, I'd be terminated. She should be terminated. You can't serve a community if you don't believe the laws apply to you too.

    • @TheNewCarryTrade
      @TheNewCarryTrade 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Appreciate the comment. I had a question. Why do you roll all your windows down?
      I also don't understand why she didn't stop. I've had plenty of interactions with law enforcement. Each one was professional. Some even listened to my situation and let me off with a warning. If she had stopped, the officer could have used his discretion and given her a warning right?

    • @drewwellington9337
      @drewwellington9337 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TheNewCarryTrade I roll my windows down for a few reasons:
      1. I used to have some pretty aggressive tint. Rolling the windows down gives a good view inside for the officer as they're approaching, since traffic stops are THE MOST deadly encounter an officer will have, and getting ambushed from someone in the back seat is a real concern.
      2. It allows for better overall visibility for me to see the officer's approach, and to see potential hazards behind and to my own side.
      3. Back when I had tint, it made writing me a ticket for it slightly less likely ;)
      Officers can usually use their discretion, but some departments have policies on the nature of the discretion, based on what senior leadership is looking to accomplish. For example, you can't use discretion to drop a DUI on the spot, if they're drunk they're drunk. I doubt anyone would receive discretion for going 20 over, especially in a 35, since that's the speed limit in most of the villages in western new york. in other words, she was driving highway speed through a place where people walk their dogs, kids play, with shops and schools and residential homes lining the street.

    • @TheNewCarryTrade
      @TheNewCarryTrade 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@drewwellington9337 That makes a lot of sense...Thanks for taking the time to reply...I never saw the equation from the officer's perspective until my cousin was stabbed over 15 times while conducting a completely routine traffic stop. After that he told me to do basically what you mentioned and to put your hands on the steering wheel or out the window so it's clear that you don't have a weapon. Turn on your dome light if it's dark...and never go rooting through the glove box until the officer asks you for the documents. Honestly, when I do this, I seem to have much better outcomes in a traffic stop situation.

    She felony fled the scene, fled from the officer. The officer did not immediately arrest her because he knew who she was and her authority as a DA, the officer allowed her to take total control of the situation, and became willing to accept her disobedience of all his commands and accepted all her perverted verbal abuse towards him, then the officer became more subservient to her, obeying her commands to call his police chief and other higher ups to excuse her behavior and actions. So now the police department has become more subservient to her by just handing her a warning ticket. This is nothing but a whitewash performance form A to Z from the police department and the DA.
