  • Webster, N.Y. - Ten days after his department made a traffic stop that prompted a pair of investigations into Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley's conduct, Webster Police Chief Dennis Kohlmeier released his first public statement on the matter.
The April 22 incident came to light April 25, when Doorley released a statement explaining she had been caught speeding and, rather than pull over, called Kohlmeier to inform him she was "not a threat" and would speak to the officer at her house.
Body camera video released the next day showed Doorley berating the officer who followed her home and conducted a traffic stop in her garage.

So yes, the officer most certainly can be trusted as he did what he was told to do. No one has to defend the officer but we should all notice that he didn't back down. Instead of walking away the officer stayed, continued with the traffic stop, advised her of the law and how she broke the law. He absolutely should have called his supervisor, which he did. The Police Chief told his officer to write the ticket. Her other crimes like failing to stop and refusing LE has been given over to one of the state's Attorneys to decide if there is enough evidence to charge her.
My opinion is since this has gone so public and viral the State DA will agree that she should be charged which is a felony and she will lose her job. The only question is will she resign or will she be fired.

Incredibly poor judgment to refuse to pull over, comply with traffic stop, cooperate with officers and basically state she will "fix" any ticket she is issued, while all is recorded and she is attempting to circumvent the law by calling their boss instead. She believes she is above the law and she can never be trusted moving forward to do her job to the letter of the law. She needs to be fired or demoted.
