But not always. Sometimes cops have bad days too. Sometimes they don't feel like being lenient. Maybe the last person who gave that excuse lied? Who knows? But a law abiding citizen pulls over for an officer conducting a traffic stop. They provide id and such....they cooperate fully and accept the ticket. Even if they are having a bad day. To do otherwise, especially if you truly know better is a crime. So many others have gone to jail or worse for less than failure to stop. Just saying.....

I think she needs harsh punishment, but to ruin her life completely isn’t what any of us would want for ourselves. We’ve all behaved badly at some point or another, and it wasn’t recorded, and we weren’t a DA or in a high visibility profession. She absolutely deserves repercussions, but blowing her whole life up over being rude and entitled isn’t the answer. How many rude and entitled 20 some things do we see? TH-cam is full of them that get arrested, but their charges are usually pledged down and they get some community service and probation. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, the punishment needs to fit the crime, and ruining her entire life is not just punishment for how badly she behaved.

Apologizing ONLY AFTER THE VIDEO WENT PUBLIC - not even after the incident, not even after getting caught.
    She APOLOGIZED ONLY AFTER PUBLICITY
Don't allow her to step down. FIRE HER AND ARREST HER.
How many of these exact cases has she prosecuted against others
Do we get to discipline ourselves ?!?
And she DID NOT " Atone " - she gave a half-ass apology. That is NOT " Atonement ".
She has acted this way for her entire life - this isn't her " one mistake " : this is her LIFETIME above the laws that SHE APPLIES TO OTHER.
It's just the first time the public found out
    Definitely two tiers of justice

For five years I’ve been arguing that white privileged doesn’t exist. Welp, thanks Ms. Doorley!

She should be arrested for evading and also cited for the original violation, just like the rest of us are. There's NO JUSTICE in the JustUs system.

This woman is reprehensible! What we saw was Sandra at her Core. This woman should have been arrested. Her discipline is BS. She should resign or be fired immediately!

This is america and wyte privilege. Simple as that. This is normal behavior for wyte cops dealing with wyte people. Even when the commit crimes cops never touch them

She is a mess ! The cop did good work. He was fair. Treated her like anybody else, after she disclosed who she was.
