@@ddesy Here let me help you. Oxford dictionary: Insurrection - A violent uprising against an authority or government. Apparently you did not watch any of the 12 hour video surveillance. You can call it an un peaceful protest or even a riot, but it was not an insurrection. No insurrection in history has ever taken place without the use of violence let alone no firearms. Believe what you want but these are the facts.
Let's not forget that one of the very people (biden) that is pushing the whole inserrection BS also says that you can't fight the government unless you have tanks and fighter planes. So in that case it is not an insurrection since that didn't have those things
Democrats: The 2nd Amendment is invalid b/c 100M Americans with 300M firearms could never meaningfully resist the US military with a tyrant leader. Also Dems: A couple hundred unarmed people walking around the Capitol were a serious threat to take control of the US government and military.
In the George Floyd riots, at least 19 more people were killed (some of whom were black people). In the LA riots the death toll was around 63. And then, ya, there was the astronomical amount of property damage and rioters thinking it was OK to loot or commit arson (sometimes justifying it as reparation's or claiming it was insured and therefore OK).
Also, there have been multiple cases of non-black people dying in similar ways as George Floyd (though without the 2 to 3 times lethal dose of fentanyl in them) yet many people have never heard of them, nor were there any massive protests or riots due to it.

Asian people are definitly held to higher standward for sure. I remember when I was in school its ok if black student did something bad. God forbid if any Asian kids do anything better. Because we were supposedely supposed to know better.
Sadly, I don’t disagree. There was a time, not too long ago, we were taught we had to outperform whites and others for certain jobs and promotions. It’s not like that anymore, especially for women.
9:21 "A disproportionate number of black people are killed by the police." Is this true? Disproportionate based on an ordered list of modes of death a person is at risk of? Maybe on those grounds.

You can't talk about Jan 6 without May 29--when DC burned, the Whitehouse was assaulted, guards were attacked & injured, etc. Just look at the photos. Whatever analysis you use to understand one, you have to use on the other. To date, no media organization has done that, so few people have even thought about doing it.
@@UncontrolledJibe Both statements are true but neither are descriptive of an entire event. It's why "mostly peaceful protests" don't mean anything. If a protest is 90% peaceful then yes, the majority of attendees are not guilty of a crime. The other 10% of non-peaceful protesters put a stain on the rest of the participants. You can't discard the 10% violent protesters at a BLM riot and describe the rest of the protests as peaceful, and then turn around and use the 10% violent protesters on J6 to apply to the 90% peaceful protesters. That's the entire issue, do the violent ruin for the peaceful and if so is that the case consistently?

100%. Derek Chauvin was thrown under the bus for the ravenous mob. Georgie boy Floyd died from an overdose of fentanyl from the "speedball" he had swallowed in an attempt to not get busted with it. The whole knee on the neck thing was highly overblown and furthered as a political tool for the left to yet again sow racial tensions. Chauvin went out of his way to try and make Floyd more comfortable after Floyd cried constantly about being claustrophobic and Chauvin did so likely because of the police being villainized so badly at the time. If Chauvin would have just let Floyd stay in the car while EMS was in route then Floyd would have overdosed there instead and Chauvin would have been criticized for not helping him so honestly he was unfortunately fucked either way.
Let's not forget why he was in police custody. He was passing counterfeit money and acting erratically while on drugs. He put himself in the position to freak out and die on fentanyl.

It’s strange to me that the George Floyd riots consisted of people burning down and destroying their own cities which only hurt them. There were weapons and people murdered including police. Yet on J6 the people took their voices to the place where their problems were. Not destroying their cities. people say the J6 riots were so much worse, but there were no weapons and the only people killed were protesters. It hurts to know people praise the George Floyd riots while condemning the J6 riots. It feels like a two teared justice system. It also hurts to know as a conservative we’re hated and villainized. There’s no longer debate to try and understand one another. One side is completely shouted down without even a chance to explain their side. Why would anyone desire to destroy the stores in their community and homes in protest against police? Did any of them destroy their own home or business?
I'll give you a hint: The "enemy" isn't different. Both movements were going against the government in a bigger picture. The solutions were what made it different. Jan 6ers took their frustration to the front door of the actual enemy to vent and show their disdain in the system. BLM took their frustration to local businesses and innocent civilians in their communities to vent and show disdain in the system. See the minor difference? It's the target and the message that is the minor difference but makes the biggest impact. Nobody in their right mind thinks burning down your local grocery stores, community centers, and police stations is going to fix the atrocities of the government... That's why BLM died out so fast. Because their movement and message was lost in their own chaos by attacking the wrong things. While the "insurrection" is deemed necessary when 70 million Americans felt that the system is failing ALL OF US.
What’s wild to me is idea that if your black you somehow are criticized more. From my experience being black in today’s day and age is a shield that defends against all criticism.

Given that suppressed evidence in the George Floyd case that's come to light Chauvin should but sadly never will get a retrial because the current climate won't allow it also BLMANTIFA would go nuts again. Not that it takes much to set them off
Derek Chauvin knelt on George Floyd’s carotid for almost ten minutes, regardless of whether or not he had an adrenaline secreting tumor or what drugs he was on he wasn’t overdosing or dying until blood flow to his brain was obstructed for almost double the amount of time it takes to develop irreversible brain damage. Bottom line Derek Chauvin is a murderer and exactly where he belongs. George Floyd’s death was a direct result of willful and purposeful actions taken by the police during that encounter. Even someone not on drugs and tumor free would have very possibly died as well. Derek Chauvin had a pattern of this type of knee on neck restraint(never for as long as he used it on Floyd) and use of excessive force that resulted in a subsequent 8 million dollar settlement between the City and two other people victimized by Chauvin.

"little bit of chaos"? More like billions in damage
Not to mention those protesters killed.
70 dead billions in damage from the BLM riots
Jan 6th very little in damage two unarmed white women protesters killed by two black cops.

I'll give you a hint:
The "enemy" isn't different.
While the "insurrection" is deemed necessary when 70 million Americans felt that the system is failing ALL OF US.
