The new 2 series appearance is much improved with these modifications. Purple may well be the colour of choice. Downside is that the added cost of modifying starts to remove the comparatively good value pricing of the base car. Thank you.

Looks everything that RS3 is not; amazing setup and quality tuning..Archie asap lose that junk plastic bits from RS3 and make it as it deserves..
I love the bits on his rs3. I think it looks mega but thats the car community. Each to their own, looks are subjective.

Yup, can't wait to get mine and the first thing I will change will be the exhaust. Not so much for the sound but the looks. The round quad tips look so much better than the stock, rectangular exhaust. Where can you get that spoiler !?
I have a 2015 m235i, and have to agree on the daily driver aspect. Is it quite as fast as an M3 etc? No. Just as fun on the Twisties of which there are many where I live? I think so. But more than either of those, absolutely superior and comfortable as a daily driver. And has been extremely reliable for me over the years

You touched upon the perfect point of the m240i.
Fully load a m240i from a dealer 52k add a tuning box 400hp+.
Buy a RS3 saloon or CLA45 both standard cars with no added options both are well into mid 50s. These cars are just unbelievable bargins when compared to rivals.
Also if you add Motech parts onto that fully loaded m240i its still probably cheaper than a loaded RS3 or CLA45 🤣

Can't wait for my m240i xdrive to arrive. I was going to go with the thunder purple color but decided to go with mineral white to get that pearl shine during night and day that I so love. I test drove one in january and absolutely loved it but wasn't ready to buy then and decided to wait to trade in my kia stinger gt1 RWD. Now that I am getting to 2 years in my lease I should be able to trade it in and get a decent deal so we'll see! I miss having a coupe and don't really need to have 4 doors. This car is just what I've been looking for.
That car and colour with those wheels are a perfect combo 😍😍

Very nice. Archie you will love the new M240i, it has two personalities. Got mine in January, here in Canada. Very comfortable and so fast when you want it to be. Wonder if new M2 will take sales away from M4’s? Looking forward to your mods 😎

To differentiate the M2 and M4, xDrive will only be available for the M3/M4. The M2 will have more horse power but be a lighter, sharper handling car.

Oh dear, Archie hasn’t seen the latest Carwow drag race. A tuning box on that m240i would destroy an rs3. Theyre neck and neck to 140mph stock!
They're not stock, check auto ID they did dyno that 240i before adding chips and was running way over 400bhp. Bmw been know to lie about power figure. On carlow rs3 was gaining untlll finish line.

@@MW_1981 they are tuned, it's not stock it's share similar platform to m140i. In my opinion that isn't stock bmw claim 371 bhp but pushing more than 400bhp

As a noob here. With any mods/tuning how does that affect the warranty on a car?
I believe it completely voids warranty if you start cutting the exhaust off / tune it.

I feel that, BMW always has lied about the power figure. That m240i need to be dyno.. no way on earth it's would be running at 371bhp. Archie get that car on dyno I believe that running closely to 400bhp Mark.

Auto ID (another channel) dynod their own new M240i before adding a chip and the standard car was over 400bhp. No bad thing in my opinion.

On Carwow with a RWD new m240i it just lost to an RS3 soooo
They don't make a rwd M240i. The new models are all xdrive in the UK. Not sure about other countries but the carwow was xdrive.
Considering it barely lost and the direct competitor to the RS3 is the M2 I wouldn’t brag to much. The M240i even won some of them races lol when it comes to all around performance Audi doesn’t hold a candle to BMW.

@@dzontravolta3952 I had the 8V. Was far nicer. In an X3M now and could have got in an 8Y. Did nothing for me. At all. Hate the wheels. The steering wheels brutal. They sound rubbish from the 8V. The colours on choice aren’t great. I have seen one in floret silver and it looked mega. Just hate that plastic trim along the bumper Side vents are cool, but the M2 is going to look far better if this M240 is anything to go by
