I thought all M Sport models had the Shadowline trim? also, just out of curiosity, was the hood repainted? seems to have a good amount of orange peel

CTS downpipe (or VRSF)
xHP Stage 3 (I can help with settings)
Supra HPFP
MHD Stage 2+ (depending on fuel)
these would transform the car into an absolute weapon.
for sites, not sure to be honest. I got the FTP inlet off eBay direct from supplier for cheaper.
@@tony.nextlevelrides were do I get the stage 2 and 3 kits from and the Supra hphf at
@billy300m people used to get the HPFP from a place called merlin diesel. now you can get them in many places, judt pick the cheapest.
MHD'a website will show you what maps you can get and the cost.
@@tony.nextlevelridesI figured what u mean by blend . lol what you do far as an exhaust ?
man i am so hyped getting my 540i, but as a true german guy i am getting myself a touring. but i cannot get this sound with beeing legal as for regualtions in germany are retty damn hard for us car guys. but i know exactly which wheels i want on it! :D
I wish we got the touring, that's what I would have got as well!!
@@tony.nextlevelrides yooo wait, you guys dont have tourings lol? fk me :D
@khaoslol1631 brutal, right? we only got touring in lower and older models. we get very few diesel options too! I wish I could get a 540d touring!!
Amazing car! How much does this car cost today ?
hard to say, anywhere from $34k-$42k CAD
I got my 2018 540i (51k miles) for $27,8k out the door a month ago. Wasn’t fully loaded, but it depends on miles, features, and the year it is.
Been debating between a G series 540i x drive or a b9.5 Audi S5 sportback
well, the 540 in my opinion is a MUCH better car.
How many miles do you have on ur bimmer and has it been reliable throughout ur ownership
@scottroberts5529 148k (km) and flawless. current tly makes around 520-540hp to the motor. no issues.
The sportback of the S5 makes it a whole different animal.
How reliable is the 540? What would be the best year and price? I'm in the market for one. What would you recommend?
it's been extremely reliable, I can't complain! anything 2017+ will be good.
x3 m40 is insane lil suv u forget it is a suv.
that may be the next purchase! if if not an X3M.
0:25 satisfying
stuck between picking this and the 2019 440i GC
the 540 all the way, revised interior and all the luxury items from the previous 7 series as a base.
@@tony.nextlevelrides yea. i been on youtube trying to decide for months. i really dont like the 440s interior. I do love that M4 look that it has. But you sold me on this blacked out 5!
G30 is NEVER overhyped! I love my G30
me too!! the longer I have it the more I love it.
@@tony.nextlevelrides Same!
How’s the drone with the muffler delete and downpipe for daily driving?
tolerable. I can close the one exhaust valve and make it no louder than a sport muffler!
@@tony.nextlevelrides Did you just remove the oem exhaust valve and place it on the muffler delete piping?
@-JayC yup! works like factory!
@@tony.nextlevelrides interesting, It’s been a minute since I’ve driven mine so when I get back to it I’m going stage 2 and muffler delete. Thanks for the responses
@-JayC no problem! it sounds real good and it's nice to have the ability to force open the valve.
…it won’t be boring when you add Remus cat-back exhaust, MSS (HAS) kit, and/or forged/semi-forged wheels. Just sayin’.
Did u just rate pre opf b58 8/10 when it comes to tune? you must be out of your mind boy :D
lol, it's good, could be a tiny bit better but still excellent.
@@tony.nextlevelrideswell if u put 1500 usd into its capable 500hp and if you want to go hardcore ive seen some guys got 1k hp out of it
@@MajorB58the us and canada does not have an opf in any model year.
i been owning that car for a few months now I'm it's not that I'm afraid of it but that car is a boat at the end of the day and u can also feel the power real quick if it's in sport but i usally cruise at around 80 mph im also a techniam thats only 20 years old and ill like to keep my license clean. but is a spaceship fosure
Hey it's billy again so I looked at the mhd and they have a super one and it's 561 and there's one that is under for 317 I just don't know with one to get can u please help me on with one I should purchase?
you'd need the super license. this gives you ALL the maps and the data logging license.
@@tony.nextlevelridesthank you for all your help I appreciate it very much
What car does the other guy have? Because this car isn’t “slow” and should not be compared with the X5 lol
he has a 700hp e92 with a single swap. 😅
I love my tuned stage 2 BM3 540ix!
Can't forget the Remus quad exhaust😁
I wish!! I'm. going to go with a quad exhaust this summer and maybe an additional resonator
thinking about getting a 2017 540i RWD it has 76k miles for 22k do you think its worth it?
absolutely! I've been driving mine this weekend and absolutely LOVE it! Mind you, it's even better with a few small mods!
go xdrive
@@izaya8986 been trying to find an X drive model but have had no luck

BMW 540i or cls 450? Which car is better ?
I don't have much experience with the CLS as I'm a big fan of BMW in general. I'm sure it's a good car but it's also tough to think of another being significantly better than the 540.
@@tony.nextlevelrides thanks for fast reply. Maybe u can help me out with 540i. Should I buy a 2017 540i or a newer? Like 2020 or 2022?
@@47fux 17-20 540i is the pre-LCI, they will be cheaper and don’t have the “TU” B58, 21-23 540s have the slightly updated B58, new headlights/tailights, and updated interior. 21-23 will always be more 10-15k more dependent on miles and spec. I got ‘18 540 for $27,8k (51k miles).
What front lip ia that?
just a cheap one off ebay
This Bmw is Hot! what color is this ? Jet Black Or Black Sapphire ?
Black Sapphire!
@@tony.nextlevelrides now i m looking for my bmw in this color!
At least you didn’t say “overrated.”
it's still a great car, but might not be enough for something wanting an actual ///M.
@@tony.nextlevelrides What?
Ahh yes the squeeky sunroof! Same in my g30
it's driving me nuts! only happens when the shade is open too.
jumping to conclusions after driving the car on a straight road for 5 minutes.. props on the look tho
thanks, he did drive it more tough and in sportier modes. it's a wolf in sheep's clothing.
what size spacers are you running on this?
12mm front, 15mm rear.
If I could describe this car with only one word, that word would be "numb"
yup! hoping to change that soon. I think some lowering springs, wheels, tires and M5C control arms will help a lot.
Y’all calling this car boring but shit I just got one and it’s way more fun than my e92 335i lol
have you tuned it yet? with MHD and xHP, it's a completely different animal.
It's not fun to drive it (while driving 50mph straight), and then proceeds to have fun when he actually STEPS ON THE GAS!
I'm telling ya, wolf in sheep's clothing.
40/50 is actually a B minus not A minus
turns out there's a couple scales, can't remember the one we used but I think it was for a Canadian school system. 🤔
Your dad is from europe right? ;-)
nationality is Croatian but born in Canada. 🇨🇦
This guy is a hater to the owners face 🤦🏽♂️
nah, he just understood what I was trying to convey to him. lol
Not a boring car!! Put it in sports mode + and feel the difference, with out any mods!! Your driving in boring mode😂😂
you're right, I believe the comparison was the car going from fame and timid to a weapon. it doesn't just do one thing well, it does multiple things great.
What was this a Sunday joy ride
Sunday joy ride / Sunday test drive. same-same.
😂😂😂😂
mine went for milk too... never seen him since hehehe although that car looks more exciting than you guys seen to potray it to be the responce is fantastic and the sound even more so,
it's been more and more impressive the harder it's driven. it's no M5 but a very happy medium!
i see, thank you for this upload
@@tony.nextlevelrides
These cars shine past 90mph. Anything under is too easy for it. That’s why it feels like it has no soul.
you're absolutely right! I like it though, tame and refined in lower settings so it's nice to drive around but turns into a weapon when tuned a bit and taken to higher speed.
Nope the B58 is not the 2jz. But the s58 is the 2jz
does that make the B58 the 1JZ then? 🤔
you guys did the most booring test drive video ever :)))) congrats
do we get a present or trophy? participation award? ribbon? smiley sticker?
Idk how anybody can talking about funny/boring cars while driving like my 86yo grandma
😂👉👉🤡🤡🤡🤡
hopefully you watched the rest of the video. 🤔
its boring cause yall dont know how to drive
it would be beneficial to watch the whole video and not just the first few minutes.
Old boat...
I mean.... it's not THAT old.
Of all the colors to choose from why black on black. Yuk!
it was the only one for sale in Alberta at the time, plus the price was right!
