There's an old saying. Whenever you see a really good looking 3-series going down the road, look closer...it's probably a 4-series. 😉
Lets not forget the 4 series Gran Coupe also has 4 doors
And you get the third seat belt back.

I really love mine every single day… individual tanzanite blue with competition wheels and alcantara/clothed seats. M performance exhaust, and with MHD stage 1 - xHP stage 2 it’s a beauty ❤ I think is the best family car with a very sporty touch 😁👌🏻
@@technopro-kz4xv it’s the most practical mlite IMO. It’s a bit on the heavy side though, but with m4 control arms and adaptive suspension and lowering springs it handles pretty well.
@@Jus_Goody Yeah, i have H&R lowering springs and it looks awesome plus it handles very well, probably the next year i will install M4 control arms 😎👌🏻

340i will forever be the cult classic B58. A few companies have started to use them as ring cars for the Nurburgring.

F30 Track Tip: Pop off the headrest cover on the drivers right side head rest post so that you can turn the headrest backwards to give your neck a more neutral position when wearing a helmet
Wouldnt change my f36 for anything, 2019 440i . I think it looks better , specially with all the exterior mods i did. Front lip , spoiler i also converted my exhaust to adual tips nd bought a diffuser, it looks sick . Tainted lights and reflectors, m4 style mirror covers ,full black front grills.
I plan chanving my hood next summer gts style probably . And of course im fbo 😊

F32 > F30 any day. I've had mine for quite some time and its such a great daily driver. Proportionally its like an updated design of the old E63, that V10 was glorious but it wasn't very reliable. Call me crazy but I prefer my 440i XDrive to my M6 comp (F12). The proportions are perfect on the F32, and with all these updated designs, the only one that now stands out is the new M2. Can't imagine what they are going to do with the updated 6 and 8 series but they need to fire their new designer!

Nice video! In Germany the 340i costs a bunch more than the 440i mostly due to the fact that Germans put a lot of value into practicality. For that reason I like the 4 series more with an aftermarket bumper. Cheaper and more sporty setup wider etc seems like a good deal to me
I’ve driven both & the main difference for me is that the 440i handles better.. therefor I would opt for the 440i bc of that & better looks imo
5:17 the black trip on the side of the 4 series fender is functional on the m sport models because it opens to wheel

My boomerangs on my 440 are 100% functional! It’s wide open.
My rear seat head rests are adjustable. I do have a gran coupe.
W, gran coupe 4 series is better than a 3 series sedan!

I’m considering trading in my 440i GC for a 340i, for some reason the 340i just looks way more proportional to me. Also it’s lighter and roomier in the inside so that’s a plus.
I get that. I’m in a different boat. I wanna trade my 340i for a 440i coupe😂

I have both f36&f30 the headroom in the f30 is better and more comfy but the f36 had a better room for your body and your legs also sits more sporty

I wanted the 4 series grand coupe but they only sold it in auto over here (UK).Had to stick to the trusty m140i 5 door manual.
i like the look of the 440i more than 340i but less than the M340i and M440i looks the worst.

Yeah pre-lci they were functional aero, post they’re just cosmetic.

With the interior the color my saddle brown extend to dash as well I think it was a package f30 lci
I think the boomerang was a small vent on the earlier 4 series. They closed it off because people complained about rocks and dirt getting stuck in it
4 ser also depreciation is a lot more then a 3 ser because it's less practical
personally the little trim piece on the front quarter panels of my 440 annoy me it should be up higher where the body line is like the m cars but I guess they couldn’t make it look to good

You can actually find better deals on a 440 now. The 340s are usually higher mileage, overpriced, and clapped out.
Thoughts on upgrading transmissions? Options? I have an X3 M40i. Curious if the ZF 75 from the X3M is a bolt in option to help it handle more torque?
Day after day I am leaning towards getting a 440i X-drive 6MT instead of a Supra 6MT… please someone tell me why I shouldn’t. Maybe even just a RWD 440.
Would go with a top mount 6870 either way. Thoughts?
Just depends what you want. Have u test driven both? I just think supra is much more of a looker where as 440i is def more of a daily driver
Try sitting in the supra first, getting in and out of the car with the low roof line, if you are tall it might be an issue. RWD 440i is mint.
What are the years of your cars? I’m looking at a 2017 440i xdrive manual, but it doesn’t have the m sport package or track handling package sadly, would you recommend it for $25k 52k miles?
The frame less window setup is straight trash fr.. I went from an f30 to f22 and that's just one of the few things I hate.

Same. Fantastic car. Mind has the MPerformance 1 and 2 package. MPPSK, Brembo's, etc. And that MPPSK is the best sounding exhaust on a modern factory 6-cylinder BMW, hands down. To the point where I'm actually on the fence with adding a downpipe because it already attracts more than enough attention in Sport/Sport+

@@anthonyh958 All Gran Coupes are automatic, regardless of where they're built. But don't let that negatively sway you. modern BMW manuals have never been that great to begin with. The ZF8 speed is more durable, every bit as fun to drive and faster to boot.

Now that my son is off to college, I'm trading in my 2016 340i for a 2019 440i. With us doing some much traveling as a family before, a coupe just wasn't practical.
