I've found that once you've got the sensors up to date and all working the importance of new fresh and very meticulously gapped to perfection plugs (if you're tuned with upgraded twin turbos try 1 step colder 0.18 gap!!) Never buy the eBay cheap fake ngk plugs ever! Or Amazon cheap plugs or sensors. NP BOOSTED sells plugs that are a great deal for Canadians especially. They are not ngk but they WORK!! And they are only $60 free shipping in Canada. As our very knowledgeable host on this video states if you are NOT running a lot of mods the stock type plugs are great. 😊❤

wish I wasn't so severly restricted most of my life. I thought flipping burgers was / being a manager was peak life. Now i'm almost 40 broke and aimless. I got a good priced 128i but now my insurance is more than the car for some reason haha. I want to do upgrades to it for power and for looks. I got it with some mods already and looks insanely good but I can't even do the bare minimum maintenance. I'll never be able to do anything like this to it. I wish I had the childhood of all these people doing stuff like this and even bigger crazier things that make $$$$$$$

You will need a remap as you did the EGR delete. It will smoke now when you stomp on it. You did get engine fault in idrive 😉

Does anyone sell this as a kit? I don’t have the necessary tools to do this, but I have a bad smoking issue on my 335is

You can't rebuild piezoelectric bmw injectors....youre going to have problems again dude:-( these companies that claim they can reman these are just scamming.

I fixed everything you can think of and only 74k miles then the motor blew same hour of the custom tune

I replaced the flappers at 170k and it was full of soot on our 4 cylinder N47. If you want to source a new intake manifold, check out Darkside Developments in the UK. Adding an oil catch can or adding meth injection is the best way to avoid soot building up again. Meth injection adds power because it cools the intake temperature and adds fuel to the mixture.

Nice job. That engine should keep going for another 450kms. You need to block off the EGR at the exhaust manifold as the EGR cooler can overheat and catch fire.

Love how 18 years after the N54 was released, people are still making content on it, it really is the OG. Single turbo sounds so good.

I recently swapped out my f36 gran coupe b48 with a N54 with every upgrade possible and custom tuned, transmission tuned and I should have it back in a couple days I will be making a videos soon to show how much of a difference it makes and pros and cons. I did have to get different ecu’s but I have some of the best in the business working on it so I will keep you updated and I will post my TH-cam page once I set it up.
