"Just open up your taint a little bit and relax." Proceeds to hold Mark's hand daintily. Hysterical.

Ed: "Did you ever grab a bar and just know you're gonna get it"
    Mark: "Yea it feels awesome"
Ed: "Thats the best feeling in the world"
Mark: "I've only done that with 135"
    Made me LOL so hard

I appreciated you guys including Mark struggling to get into position. He has never claimed to be mobile. But for us new lifters it highlighted the importance of staying semi limber.

Also Mark has been training and competing for a LONG long time. He has had a slew of injuries (including his knee) that affects his mobility.

+kingDeCosta123 Yates did "Yates rows", a very upright row with a lot of body english. Coan was doing Pendlay rows, a variation with a much greater lean and full range of motion. The latter is way more difficult

This is so cool, seeing Mark, a guy we know is strong AF, learning a technique that he looks very uncomfortable with, but being genuinely open about his feeling powerless, that's witnessing real strength and humility. Seeing greatness, in the hands of a legend. Remains me of the old adage, iron strengthens iron. Very cool, thank you gentlemen for what you do.

I think this kind of proves, especially in a very technique driven movement like the sumo dead, that you have to find what is going to work best for you depending on your individual body. People like to think that there is only one "good form" way to do movements, and a billion "bad form" ways. Of course you have certain things that you NEED to do in order to not hurt yourself, but what works for Ed might not work for Mark, and what works for Mark might not work for Jackie Chan.
