Nice! 1974 copyright on that 45! I was 16 and had bought every Mo Town record that I crossed my path since I was old enough to go to the record store on my bike. That Mo Town sound, later known as R&B set the stage for this kind of funk so good to dance to! My funk wake up call was James Brown, i.e. "Say it Loud (I'm black and I'm proud)". Thanks Mark for sharing outstanding!
Fantastic! I'm new to your channel, thanks for this :) I'm going to try and work this out on flute as I don't play sax. I highly recommend you have a listen to an 80's song called 'Will You' by Hazel O'Connor co-written with sax-player Wesley Magoogan. It was a massive hit here in the UK and I think you'll like it as it features some beautiful sax.

@scottparsons554 I, too, rode my bike to the record store, at age 14. Every two or three weeks I had enough allowance money to buy one LP. Good times!
Love this, we actually play this song and will perform it next time we get to work together! Who knew? You’re so talented!
Abso - Funky - Lutely!
