I’m not much a video maker but I will have to make one showing in much simpler way. I’ve done it this exact way so many times I got pretty quick at it, but all you have to do is pop that rubber clip under the clamp at the throttle body pull tire, airbox everything out at one time, and it comes out very easily, you don’t have done both all of that stuff
AEM dry air filter from K&N website fits perfectly in these... (roughly £40) not only are they washable/reusable saving you money in the long run 😉👍🏻 but also oil-free which is recommended if your vehicle has MAF sensor fitted.
Hello. I want to ask for help. 2003 focus 1.6i FyDD These are brand new in focus. There's nothing wrong with these. - idling engine -ignition cables -ignition transformer -4 new candles -fuel vent cleaned. Throttle body cleaned And he's still doing it...even in the middle of it he chokes... The idle is not good.
Easy diagnosis 90% of the time is the trottle body adjustment screw due to vibration and cause the engine to stave for air jerking stalling idling hecups shift into gear jerking .Turn engine off then turn the adjustment screw 1/4 on trottle body then start the engine. Continue the process till the engine run smoothly and depending on the maintenance. Electronics trottle body is a different process.
Hate it ! even with a clean throttlebody it idles around 750rpm. What i did was i changed the warm idle speed to 900rpm with the official Focom software. Now it runs extremelly smooth and fast ! when going of from stoplichts. They make those cars with low idle for better emissions nothing more, and you get a sluggish car.
i have a ford cmax with code p3000 random misfire, spark plugs changes prior and the leads and coil pack. Car does not accelerate properly and does so after a few seconds of hesitation. could the the throttle body be the problem?
What year is that? I have a 2008 focus, It looks completely different. The car shut off the other day when my wife was driving it. I diagnosed it and got a p2107 code. So im trying to see what i can do myself vs bringing it to Ford
All you do is locate the throttlebody pop off that tube that goes between the throttlebody and the airbox disconnect, the wires off of it. Then clean that throttlebody up. Sounds like your throttlebody though might be on the way out. It’s saying the actuator is causing issues.
I wouldn't just spray it directly in there. If you spray too much it can hydrock the engine. So unless you spray a little I would spray some onto a towel and wipe it. If you're gonna spray in there don't spray too much or do it with long periods of pause to allow to evaporate.

When he said "Pull Up" he sound like the caution warning via aircraft 😂

I cleaned it but didn't fix the problem. RPM isn't stable when I turn on AC
this focus shit about stable rpm goes up goes down with a/c or turning steer 😂😂😂
The ac boggs mostly any 4 cylinder down under a 2.5 ive noticed and owned over the years.
What year is that Focus?
looks like a 2015-2018 based on the front end. All Mk3 Focus are the same though. only thing thats different is the facelift
I have Ford Fiesta 2010engine idling below 750 rpm.?

Check your spark plugs and coils before moving to the throttle body. Misfire is going to be a spark issue, not an air issue

Definitely try cleaning it first like I show and then if it persists I would purchase a new throttle body and bolt it in
The code is the crankshaft position sensor.
@@barrymichaels2663Did you ever figure out this problem to the focus? I'm having it as well.....the code disappears and reappears on its own...
Need a video of a ford focus 2011 mark 3 1.6 turbo ecoboost 150bhp

You would have been better off just removing the throttle body from the engine and cleaning separately.
Okay, now that I know how it's done. Guess I'll be paying someone to do it. 😅
Should give it a try its not to bad with basic tools :)
Just remove the airhoose
Yeah, you are missing the model year to help people.
This applies to any Focus model year 2012-2018
How many miles were on this car
Not sure i believe around 150,000 km
The paperclip 📎 was cringe 😬.....
I dropped my tooth brush into the throttle body🥲
