Some numbers that you see are written in the hexadecimal (Hex) number system. At 3:26 you see fuel percent 002B, which is equivalent to decimal number 43. So your fuel tank is 43% full.
At 3:30 Engine temp. might be the coolant temperature. The gauge can show numbers only between the range 60 to 120, but the car computer reads the temperature of 30C from the sensor.
I have just started restoring my mk2 and know so little about it. Apart from the under chassis, I am deeply trouble by how fuel thirsty it is. Any advise you lot can give me to improve it? Thanks
Hello, I also have a focus and it is titanium, my friend has a titanium x and he have electronic steering. In titanium and below, sensitivity adjustment cannot be made due to power steering.
@@ZoranMisic-g8u you can access this when your engine is turned on, but not moving - you take the “rotating” controls on the left hand side of the wheel (the ones where you want to see the fuel consumption, temperature etc.), but when it’s idle you’ll have the “your settings” menu item showing up (unlike when you’re driving) - here you press the button to enter, and the first menu item will most likely be the steering mode). Found this on my ford focus mk2 flexifuel from 2007 :)
I get the same thing. Not continuously, but if I go over a particularly bumpy road the sensor will chime and the "i" light will flash. I wonder whether it's a faulty connection, but trying to explain the problem to my mechanic is proving to be a losing battle.
you have to select the CC button on the video itself and it will translate to your app language. sorry, but i cannot add subtitles automatically a sthe video is set to english, so the TH-cam will automatically translate to Dutch by selecting the CC on top

Makes total sense, thank you very much for the clarification

Got any experience activating cruise control?
I’m afraid not. All I know is that you need Forscan to activate it after you install all the other bits.
How to check the highest speed of your last ride, not the max speed of a car but of your ride from the last idk, few hours
I think you need a separate software plugged to the OBD port for that
Thanks Gentil that's great 👍
Cheers
Thank you!
Yore welcome

Hi, I have 2009 mk2 Focus with display like on the video. I can't find steering mode setup - standard/sport/comfort. Is that extra option ?
Strange. It's not an extra option as it's something built in on all cars with this display

Sorry, no idea. It always worked for me

The same noise at the end of the video
Sorry, no idea what it could be

How to access hidden secret menu if the car is keyless and not manual
I think you just press the start button once while you press the OBC button
