    Nice video! Do you need to apply for the elterngeld right after baby is born or just after mutterschutz is done?

      I'm struggling to remember, but I think you can apply as soon as the baby is born, they take a while to approve it (especially if you´re a foreigner), so the earlier, the better!

    Did you find english speaking midwife and gynecologist???

      No, I haven't searched specifically for an English speaker, but it was indicated on the website that my midwife spoke English. When I came first time, I asked her if she did, she said "a little bit, we can try in German, but if you don't understand something, just tell me". So I kind of got used to speaking German to her
