I really like your reviews. However, don't you think that if some fast food sits around too long, it's no longer edible? It seems like you're eating something you ordered a long time before making the video. I know this would seriously impact the quality. Keep up the good work.

As a former pizza hut employee, I will say as soon as yum took over, they immediately started having workers train without pay, clocked workers out early, and made workers clock in at lower paid positions than the ones they were supposed to be at. They also significantly cut back on the quality of the ingredients and I got in trouble more than once for throwing out food that was past expiration. I hate pizza hut
I never had the other issues although i was “offered” a manager position and was doing manager duties just to stay a driver at driver pay until i got robbed and quit. This was in 2015 but yum brands already bought them by then.
Any local pizza joint in the Eastern PA area will have a philly cheeseteak option to all of their pizza, stromboli and calzones. And they will be good 90% of the time. So the fact Pizza Hut can not get the flavor and textures right is on them. As someone that has eaten many a philly cheesesteak pizza like items, it works fantastic.
It boggles my mind that a world of corruption, ugliness, pain and suffering, can give rise to someone as pure and wholesome as Reviewbrah. May you live long and prosper my good sir.
Back in the late 90's they had great pizza, and salad bar. Everywhere around me they're now like little ceasers, pick up garbage. Pizza is completely different. I dig Round Table still, expensive but good. Nothing usually beats little mom/pop, food cart pizza anymore though. Cause they actually care what the product is.
I tune in every blue moon or so after long absences, but it’s so nice to come back and hear that people are still having the same experience with him. That’s our memorable yet unassuming guy.

So (I ask this as a non-Philadelphian who has only been to the East Coast once in my life) what seasonings *do* belong on (or go well with) a cheesesteak? What complements onions, peppers, cheese and beef, in your opinion, that enhances them rather than covering them up?
25 years ago Pizza Hut used to have really good pizza. Not anymore. When the accountants got done with it, it was ruined. Making really good food is a little bit of magic- that can't be altered
Yep. I remember how fun a experience it was to go to Pizza Hut as a kid in the 90s, dinning in, having the pizza served fresh at your table …now it’s just mediocre crap that you have to get go…these restaurants that are pick up only have ruined the experience of going out to eat.
About twenty years ago they had a great all you can eat bar once a week. Me and my buds would spend a few hours there and fill up on tasty carbs for about $8 CDN. The good old days!
Yeah, I remember how it used to be. It was never "real pizza", but back then it was enjoyable. What they serve now is inedible and it gives me awful heartburn for hours. It isn't even food I don't think.
When I worked at Pizza Hut in the early '90s they had a cheese steak pizza that was pretty good. This was when Pepsi still owned Pizza Hut and we made our own dough.
This one was a tricky one. When ReviewBrah opened the box, it looked good. But I have to go with his taste test which never fails. Also: Who the F puts Ranch on cheesesteak? Pizza Hut needs to wake up.

I’m a General Manager for Pizza Hut in Ohio. I recommend the pizza cheesesteak. On a pan crust. The steak is nice and tender. My preference over the melt.
Well it looks like quesadillas are the new calzones. Between the papadillas, the melts, and I have no idea if Domino's has a version their menu is so cluttered. It reminds me of the p'zolo from the early 2010s, which was essentially a fried hoagie roll, but it came in meat trio, cheese steak, and buffalo chicken. They didn't last long on the menu, but it seems they've reappeared as a quesadilla with the parm dust topping from the p'zone.
When he says it's basically flavorless... I wouldn't be surprised if they come off the truck frozen and premade. All they would have to do in the store is thaw them and warm them up (or just skip the thaw...). Company practices are getting cheaper by the day.

As a member of the expedition team searching the cavern, I have bad news. It used to be a pepper and onion cheese cavern... We lost a lot of good men. That was indeed decaying matter.
That's the main thing with these cheapo fast food pizza chains. Their pizzas are just a mildly flavorful sauce on top of a crust with less flavor than a Saltine and covered with the cheapest cheese and toppings they can find. So when you take away the sauce, there's essentially no flavor whatsoever. People sleep on just how important a flavorful crust and good cheese is to making good pizza/pizza-adjacent items
I had the misfortune to have one of these last month. They have been here in the UK for a while. It was absolutely revolting. I had the meat feast one. It had a strange flavour that was nothing like I expected. Just really nasty. Why don't pizza hut just bow to the inevitable and reintroduce the Priazzo. That was the nicest item and I really miss it. I adore your reviews sir.
2 things. 1. I love how he's got that unique 40's-30's radio voice. 2. The only reason I still tolerate PH is because they sell stuff crust. I am terrible at cooking, and I don't trust myself _not_ to make an absolute disaster of a "pizza" in an attempt to make my own stuff crust. If I don't want stuff crust, I almost always get a local pizza from this bar down in my city and Dominos. I used to be able to get a Little Caesars pizza and cheesy bread, extra Parm & extra garlic butter on both, but due to the city deciding the only shortest road(also the only road of 2) leading to the LC was to be torn up and left to sit for almost a year, they were forced to close. Now all that's left in my city for pizza places was PH, Dominos and a bunch of local pizza places.
I have nothing but respect for TheReportOfTheWeek. The tortures he puts his taste buds through--The horrors his body endures, all to warn us so we don't do the same and for our amusement. Mad respect, ReviewBrah.

I love pizza hut and I always make sure to try their limited offerings, as I live in a very small town and its one of the only franchises we have. I was stunned when I saw this on their website and absolutely repulsed, even by their professionally taken images. It was great when they expanded their toppings and such before covid. Wish they'd bring back the sauce drizzle and crust options. Their pretzel crust worked with every single recipe they'd make. I think it's weird that they'd opt to bring back subs/fries instead of just keeping more pizza toppings on hand. And the melt is no match for the P'zone.

I'm not sure if there's one around you because it's more a Midwest gas station but Casey's Pizza is one of the best pizzas I've had. Might be worth a video
I mean what is a calzone other than a folded over pizza? The problem is they took away the sauce, AKA the only thing on the pizza that had any real discernable flavor
Actually that is what it is. It’s a thin crust, cut in half toppings in the middle with either sauce or extra cheese at the end you brush it with butter and season. (I worked at Pizza Hut I did not eat the melts though because they are really high in calories people seemed to love them though)
In 2018 and before, I was huge on Pizza Hut as a college kid. Those pizzas got me through to my degree. I could get a medium two topping pan pizza for only $5 with their "Value Lineup" as long as you bought at least 2 items from it. I thought it was bad when they started charging you an extra $1 for the pizza itself, as well as $1 extra for pan crust over hand tossed (if only I knew how bad it was going to get). When they price hiked again to $7 for the pizza, that's when I quit being a customer. I check again today, and it's now a medium ONE topping pizza for $9, and pan crust is $2.50 extra. We went from two TWO topping medium pan pizzas costing you only $10 to two ONE topping medium pan pizzas costing you $23. What 5 years of inflation, a pandemic, and a war will do to an economy, huh? I suppose I should be thankful, because if Pizza Hut never raised their prices, I'd probably be a lot less healthy of a person than I am now (and I wouldn't have learned how to make my own pizzas). Good riddance.
The Cheesesteak Melt looked really good when the box was opened. How it didn't taste good with all of those toppings on it is weird indeed. Having lived in Philadelphia for 10 years who puts ranch dressing on a Cheesesteak. Answer - nobody.
I'm not sure how I got here. I suspect the algorithm noticed that I watch "Hot Ones" quite a bit and served this channel up (pun intended) as something I'd like. It was not wrong. You had me at "That brown stuff is not actually decaying matter but rather sirloin steak." Subscribed.
Speaking of bland, one time I bought an egg sandwich from a restaurant and I could not taste eggs or anything on that sandwich. It’s like I was just eating a mass with no taste. I actually do not know how the hell they can get that to happen despite the ingredients.
I work for PH. The cheese steak product is subpar in flavor and texture, in melt form or on pizza. The other melts are decent in flavor and price, however they do tend to leave my mouth dry after eating. The addition of butter sauce and bread stick seasoning to the melts are what make them unique and extra flavorful. The cheese steak product needs a rework before I could recommend it. Alfredo sauce, green pepper, onion, and regular cheese on its own is preferable.
@@Jess-737 That's a subjective question, but I like a thin pizza with regular cheese, cheddar cheese, and parmesean cheese with some of the breadstick seasoning sprinkled on after it cooks~What's your favorite?

Actually that is what it is. It’s a thin crust, cut in half toppings in the middle with either sauce or extra cheese at the end you brush it with butter and season. (I worked at Pizza Hut I did not eat the melts though because they are really high in calories people seemed to love them though)

In 2018 and before, I was huge on Pizza Hut as a college kid. Those pizzas got me through to my degree. I could get a medium two topping pan pizza for only $5 with their "Value Lineup" as long as you bought at least 2 items from it. I thought it was bad when they started charging you an extra $1 for the pizza itself, as well as $1 extra for pan crust over hand tossed (if only I knew how bad it was going to get). When they price hiked again to $7 for the pizza, that's when I quit being a customer.
I check again today, and it's now a medium ONE topping pizza for $9, and pan crust is $2.50 extra. We went from two TWO topping medium pan pizzas costing you only $10 to two ONE topping medium pan pizzas costing you $23. What 5 years of inflation, a pandemic, and a war will do to an economy, huh? I suppose I should be thankful, because if Pizza Hut never raised their prices, I'd probably be a lot less healthy of a person than I am now (and I wouldn't have learned how to make my own pizzas). Good riddance.

The Cheesesteak Melt looked really good when the box was opened. How it didn't taste good with all of those toppings on it is weird indeed. Having lived in Philadelphia for 10 years who puts ranch dressing on a Cheesesteak. Answer - nobody.

Speaking of bland, one time I bought an egg sandwich from a restaurant and I could not taste eggs or anything on that sandwich. It’s like I was just eating a mass with no taste. I actually do not know how the hell they can get that to happen despite the ingredients.

I work for PH. The cheese steak product is subpar in flavor and texture, in melt form or on pizza. The other melts are decent in flavor and price, however they do tend to leave my mouth dry after eating. The addition of butter sauce and bread stick seasoning to the melts are what make them unique and extra flavorful.
The cheese steak product needs a rework before I could recommend it. Alfredo sauce, green pepper, onion, and regular cheese on its own is preferable.
@@Jess-737 That's a subjective question, but I like a thin pizza with regular cheese, cheddar cheese, and parmesean cheese with some of the breadstick seasoning sprinkled on after it cooks~What's your favorite?
